Room was nice,bed comfortable extra pillows and blankets provided. Good location

Due to problems with past guest they no longer have electric blankets, there is extra blankets and a good split system air conditioning and soon heats up the room. You only get small amounts of milk, one is enough for a cup of tea, but when it comes to having cereal there is not enough, could have contacted the office and they probably would have given me some more. Bring a small carton with you, no microwave in room but there’s 1 available to use in the kitchen further down past about 8 rooms.

The motel was like home. Super clean bathroom and bedroom area; towels and linen nice and soft; carpets and dusting cleaned to a very high standard. A toaster and hair dryer very useful. Comfortable mattress and very warm with bed linen. Enjoyed my cup of tea in the court yard and had a short walk to Kmart. Good pricing and only a short drive into central Bairnsdale. This was my fourth stay and the high standards didn’t change. Highly recommend for single nor families.

Very clean and affordable, I was surprised how good the rooms were despite of the price, because it was the cheapest motel in town I thought it was bad, but to my surprise this motel was better than the other motel that is more pricey... I definitely recommend this motel

The smell of linen it's like they don't used falcon when washing the linen, the wifi is complicated to connect it needs to put bank card details, I don't know if there is charges coz I didn't put my card details, because clearly it say free wifi... I hope they put microwave next time, it's very handy for people staying for couple of days...

I loved my stay at the Bairnsdale Main Motel - a classic, old-school "mom and pop" style motel, which I just love! I had the pleasure of meeting with and talking with the fantastic host, a really good man with a heart of gold. The room was cosy, quiet, clean and very comfortable, and I slept really well there. It had everything I needed for a self-catered stay, and I particularly appreciated the microwave in the shared area. I highly recommend a visit to nearby Raymond Island for koala-spotting if one is in the area for tourism. I would have liked to have stayed longer.

The property was super clean, spotless bathroom, soft towels, very comfortable bed with plenty of room for suit cases. Loved the idea of 3 in 1 soap dispenser, in the shower. Hair dryer and added bonus. Close to Bunnings, Kmart and a petrol station just up the road. A five minute drive to the centre of town for shopping and Macdonalds. Nice and peaceful only hearing trucks every now and then. Home away from home. Enjoyed the garden just sitting out there with my cup of tea.

The motel is older but has been updated and is the best maintained motel I have stayed in. The room was super clean and well maintained. No mould in the bathroom, no fluff or dust anywhere. The grounds are impeccable. While you can't cook in your room there is a microwave in a communal kitchen and also a BBQ in a covered area. We needed an iron. The owner brought one to us immediately. The bed was comfortable, the upgraded led lights gave a nice bright light. Absolutely recommend this motel.

Older style motel. Warm cosy and very clean. My room.had a corner shower, which was spacious. The hot water was fast and plentiful and the shower head and pressure was great. The manager Ray was very helpful indeed and he gave me several tourist tips about places to go and local history. Saved me going to the informatiom centre.

There was a little noise from the hwy, but that subsided after 11pm. Started early in the morning.

The shower was awesome. Great water pressure and very large. Some things like the bathroom are original, a blast from the past, but still in perfect condition and work great. Beds really comfy and sheets felt like very good quality/thread count. We booked last minute for a one night stay and we’re pleasantly surprised just how comfortable the stay was. I’ve stayed in places that cost twice this a night that were not better. Will definitely stay again if in the area and could not recommend it more highly.

I liked that everything was ready for me when I arrived and checkout was so convenient. The heating was efficient and exceptionally warm. The bed was comfortable and cosy and I had a very good sleep. The food recommendations were very broad to cover every option available

Unfortunately my remote control wasn't working and because it took a long time to charge my phone I was unable to call reception to ask them to check it for me. It was a Minot inconvenience since I didn't really have much time to watch TV.

Excellent no frills accommodation. While building is aged, it is kept exceptionally clean, good wifi, easy to use TV and all the tea, coffee and toiletry provisions included in the excellent price package.

Close proximity to main road - you can hear loud cars or trucks on airbrake middle of the night - but that's a minor gripe easily offset by the ease of access to accommodation and excellent outdoor areas provided.
