Beautiful old fashioned house in a quiet location. I loved that it was quirky and individual, and the colourful decor in the room.The hosts were very generous with the unique little touches in the room I stayed in. For example aside from the food for a good breakfast the next morning, there were a few chocolates to have with a cup of tea, they provided extra swimming towels if you wanted to go swimming at the local pool, and more.

I personally do not do well sleeping on or close to anything polyester or plastic. When I went to bed I quickly got over heated and discovered the mattress protector was plastic on the underside. I took it off for the night and ended up having a good sleep as the bed was quite comfy

Andrea and Keith were very welcoming, and made us feel right at home. They gave us lots of tips about things to do and see, and the property itself is absolutely superb. No detail has been overlooked. The decor in the Heritage apartment that we stayed in is so beautifully themed, and all the little extras such as a pair of scissors and a first aid kit in the room just top it all off. The breakfast offering had lots of choice, and we were also delighted to find a coffee machine and a bowl of welcome-chocolates. Perfect.

There was nothing not to like!

The hosts are lovely and friendly but respect privacy and will only interact as much as you initiate, they are very helpful if you need assistance with anything whatsoever. The garden apartment is very comfortable. The breakfast provisions are generous and lovely. The garden is beautiful to observe and wake up to. Bairnsdale is a great town with lots to do and enjoy. Lots of relaxing fishing spots or walks. The hosts provide a room service each day, refilling supplies, making the bed and tidying up. Thank you.

The B&B appears quite busy from the visitor comments book. A more thorough deep clean would be great as there were some toothpaste marks on the bathroom mirrors and we noticed some food marks on one of the larger bed cushions from previous guests. There were some creepy crawlies in the room but overall the B&B was a very comfortable stay and we would definitely come back and stay again.

Nice Bed & Breakfast in Bairnsdale, close to shops, restaurants and a nice river walk. It had a spacious living/bed room and a fully equipped kitchenette. Also the bathroom was huge. We also liked the breakfast that was provided.

Unfortunately Wifi didnt work for us.

Beautiful garden setting and the room was very private looking out at it. Very comfortable bed, breakfast goodies provided and great location easy walking distance. Hosts were welcoming and lots of information about local attractions. Would definitely recommend this property.

Love the garden room, quite & romantic. Extremely clean. Very basic kitchen facilities, but it works. Good supply of breakfast cereal & fresh milk. Very insta worthy room & garden

Love a hot plate or something other then just a microwave. Or perhaps some other microwave cooking containers , so you could add bacon to go with the eggs ( eggs supplied)

Excellent breakfast choices and beautifully presented. The garden view was lovely in the mornings and we were very close to everything we needed. A lovely room with so many little extras available.

We received a warm welcome from the owner and were shown our room and given a thorough explanation of how to use the coffee machine and how easy it was to prepare the eggs for breakfast. The recommendation where to have dinner in town was perfect. Overall a lovely stay, highly recommended.

Its always a pleasure to stay at Dalfruin. The hosts are welcoming and the property is well kept. Rooms have all the amenities with lovely personal touch. Breakfast is an icing on cake!

Excellent B&B, very clean, all our needs were met, lovely hosts, beautiful garden, off street parking and very quiet.

All the windows are permanently closed and we prefer fresh air at night for sleeping.
