I travelled for work and the host accommodated my early 730am departure by cooking up breakfast earlier than usual (typically between 8-9:30am) which was unexpected. The Klimt room/ ensuite was nice - it would have been more enjoyable had I been on a holiday and not a work trip! The cows were gorgeous.
A full length mirror would have been good in the room. The rooster also starts up quite early in the morning so if you are a light sleeper, pack some ear plugs! (and go to bed early haha).

The BnB is in an idyllic location. Beautiful countryside surrounds. The property has a lovely garden and the home has seating on the veranda to soak up the calm or enjoy your included full breakfast weather permitting. Our rooms were comfortable as was the sitting room got out with tea/coffee fixings, fridge etc. Our hostess was charming. Nothing was too much trouble. A very relaxing stop in our travels.

we stayed in the twin room - beds were comfortable. we were the only ones in so the lounge room was cozy and has a small heater which warms the room quickly. the lounge is where the coffee /tea facilities are (water is provided in a Jug) (dirty cups etc.. put into a tub and magically get washed).

Beautiful property in a quiet location, but still not far from Bairnsdale. Delicious cooked breakfast. The common room has a huge variety of pod coffees as well as teas and cereals. Lovely host, with great knowledge of the area. So many spots to sit on the verandah or in the gardens. Loved the chooks and guinea fowl, of course! Great local restaurants and bakery. Thank you so much for an interesting and relaxing stay.
I think it would have been better if the 'common' room was larger, but we certainly all coped.

The breakfast was fabulous!
The bedroom was small, which meant we tripped over our suitcases when we moved around. Although there was closet space, we were only there for two nights and didn't want to go to the work of fully unpacking. An extra bed or suitcase rack would have helped.

Loved everything about this property and our stay. We stayed for two nights on a six week tour and this was one of our favourite stays. Gabrielle gave us a warm welcome, room was beautiful and spotlessly clean, elegant room and large bathroom. Breakfast was amazing and eaten outdoors overlooking beautiful garden. Outdoor bird sounds were just pure Australia, it really did feel like we were getting away from it all although you are not that far out of town. Wished we had booked to stay longer here. Head of security (little dog) ❤ was just the perfect addition. Thank you so much Gabrielle, wonderful host.
Only the fact that we did not book longer here, it was perfect.

The breakfast was lovely. The eggs were so fresh and tasty. Gabrielle was a lovely host and very interesting to talk to. The location was everything you could wish for. So nice and relaxing, watching the views from the balcony.
Don’t change a thing. Just what is needed for a relaxing time.

Gab is a friendly & helpful hostess, something much appreciated when you're a solo traveller. Her place is well presented, peaceful, and comfy (booked the "Klimt" Queen). I love the birds, farmlet, garden & forest. Breakfast was wholesome & delicious. And so many different teas on offer! I'd need to stay a week to try them all. I will be back.

Very comfortable bed and renovated bathroom. Gabrielle was a gracious host and we enjoyed her interesting stories. A great cooked breakfast was included. We were fascinated by Gabrielle's 'watch dogs' which were actually African Guinea Fowl that live in the tree outside the house. A very enjoyable stay.

The peaceful ambience, the art works give it an interesting outlook, the farm animals are lovely, the property is very neat and has a gazebo with BBQ facilities and more for those warmer days. Nicely decorated and very entertaining host who goes out of her way to make your stay very comfortable.
This is a farmhouse just out of Bairnsdale and so mobile phone signal is weak; I didn't ask if internet was available, but I didn't have internet signal. Not unusual being out of the main town as mentioned, you recover internet in the towns.
