if you are travelling the great ocean road and you are looking for an extraordinary boutique hotel experience, drift house is the way to go. the rooms are large and designed with attention to detail, forming part of what feels like a little design campus in port fairy. the dinner we had at the hotel was outstanding, as was breakfast. we received the friendliest and most personal treatment from maddie, and it almost felt like leaving a friend after only two days.

a lot of personality and effort went into drift house, which is first and foremost an asset. however, at times this led us to feel that we had to adapt or hold back as guests a bit.

The welcome we received was first indication that we’re in for a treat. We stayed in the second floor suite with a balcony. So beautiful comfortable and just divine. Breakfast was so delicious next morning served by Marley. She was a delight. Loved a short but very sweet stay. Would have loved to have dinner as the menu looked delicious but wasn’t being served on our stay. Another time.

Port Fairy is a delightful town and you can’t go past this charming old house thoughtfully updated with a funky design and all the latest luxuries. It met our expectations in every way. If you are a fan of super comfy beds, Drift House has you covered. Location is great too - walking distance to everything, including the surprising MerryJig Inn where we enjoyed a scrumptious dinner. Colleen was a welcoming host and the Drift House breakfast included was delicious. Highly recommend a stay.

A very welcoming place - beautifully renovated and designed with both warmth and practicality in mind. Exceptional personalised service throughout our stay - including delicious breakfasts in the stunning dining room and a dinner there one night also - we were able to bring along two local guests who were very impressed with all the dishes and drinks and especially the friendly, knowledgeable service. We will all be recommending the Drift Hotel as an incredible place to stay in Port Fairy. 5 Stars all round 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Our room was exceptional, thoughtfully designed with some interesting architectural features. The theme carried on into the lounge/dining room which is light filled and beautifully furnished. The breakfasts and dinner ( if you’re lucky enough to be staying on one of the evenings when dinner is served) are exceptional, and the staff are friendly, enthusiastic and knowledgeable. An outstanding small luxury hotel.

Nothing at all

Madi was exceptional in her customer service. She was attentive, attuned, friendly and helpful- the highlight of our trip. Room was fantastic and the attention to detail was fantastic. Beautiful facility

There were ants in our room but really a non-issue with Madi addressing immediately. Our parking location wasn't as convenient as other rooms but I'm really struggling to come up with something we didn't like!

Amazing experience! 100 stars. Everything was exceptional the staff, food, the rooms and the overall stay. We will definitely be back.

From the moment I arrived I felt the warm welcome and peaceful atmosphere. The staff are so welcoming and wonderful. The food is excellent along with the cocktails . The room have a sense of calm and tranquility that is wonderful. Colleen and all the staff have made a beautiful welcoming experience I would definitely visit again .

The facade is heritage but the interior is modern and comfortable. There are only 7 rooms which makes it more intimate and homely.

The dining room is not open every day of the week and I missed the opportunity to taste the food from the restaurant.

So relaxing , all the little touches, the beautiful salon and fabulous staff who were so warm and caring . Great breaky
