Great location and easy to follow instructions for late self-check in. The undercover car parking is very secure and easy to navigate. The self-contained unit was clean and comfortable and the small milk and bottle of water in the fridge were appreciated. The insulation is so good that you never hear anything from outside the unit. The cleaning staff were lovely - very friendly and efficient!

The hot water in the shower kept fluctuating from very hot to cold at times but I did report it to Reception. It was really cold in Melbourne and it would have been nice to have a spare blanket in the cupboard.

Initially booked the lowest grade of room but found the balcony was very small with only one chair. These rooms were at the rear of the building and not to our liking with this restricted outdoor space. Reception was very understanding and we were able to upgrade to a higher category room with large balcony at the front of the building

Two bedroom apartment was very spacious and light. Minimal noise despite being on a busy road. The apartment was clean and well equipped. Having a decent gym and a lap pool was a treat in the hot weather, and a decent IGA onsite very handy. The team were very accommodating of our unplanned late check-in and attending to requests. The train, local village and beachfront are a five minute bus ride away.

It’s not a great location for general tourists but great if you have need to be in the area.

The apartment was clean, contemporary style, simple and big. Plenty of space for our luggages and having 2 bathrooms was great. We loved the pool and spa and enjoyed it when we could. Washing machine and dryer was great to have and they provided small sachets for washing machine and dishwashing tablets for dishwasher. Parking underground was great and the staff were friendly. Bonus IGA next door which was handy.

I personally thought the bed was too soft but no one else complained. This could be a personal preference. Many pillows are provided which is great because I had to swap them around to see which one I liked. A non stick fry pan would have been nice in the kitchen. We did use the stainless steel in the morning for our eggs and it all worked out fine.

We loved the fact that the entrance to the complex had it's own turning bays from Bay Road which helped greatly in getting into/out of it. The instructions for getting into the parking area was clear and concise - there was no mystery - only nice surprises, like the pool being 25 m long (I think) so that swimming laps was without getting dizzy, and the fact that that whole area (gym, pool, spa pool and sauna) were all built into the cost of the stay using proximity access card. We were also given 2 pool towels when I asked for them that I thought we'd need to pay for (i.e. deposit). While we were only there 2 nights and therefore only one clean service provided (and this did not bother us), the room attendant was more than happy to refresh a few towels and toiletries for us. Having the IGA store and cafe just off Bay Road as part of the building complex across the driveway from the main entrance of the Caroline Apartments was a bonus and very convenient. We also appreciated that the staff answered our phone call promptly to explain the after hours self-arrival instructions when we arrived later than we thought the desk would be open (on a Sunday - we had given our 'at home' email address and forgot to forward these details to my cell). Overall we would both recommend this place and/or return again in the future as it is conveniently close to our family and Black Rock - our favorite place to visit outside Melbourne city.

Sorry - no, nothing - well, maybe the 'way-finding' could be improved - larger signage in the hallways of the room numbers to find our room easier (although that is not entirely the facility's fault). Front main exterior entrance stairs might be slippery on a rainy day but that is why the long ramp access with good traction is very suitable!

The communication was amazing, the staff were friendly and I felt if there were going to be any issues I could ask for help without a problem. The apartment was clean and spacious and the location was only a hop, skip and a jump from DFO Moorabin and a massive West Field shopping centre!! The pool was located in the adjacent complex, but we had no issues getting in. The pool sauna and spa were amazing as well.

Apartment was beautiful. Very spacious and clean. Balcony was really big. The pool area and the whole building was very clean. All the doors were locked and could only be opened with key fobs so very safe. Bus stop right outside.

The pool was tiny. There were only 8 sun loungers and the sun was only on the pool area in the mornings. We weren't given clear directions to our room. We didn't realise we were in a different building and spent 2 hours at 2am trying to find our room. There was nothing in the area. A good 35 min walk to the train station and beach although there were busses but they stop really early. About 10pm

The property has everything you need It was spacious The couch very comfortable . A beautiful comfy bed ..There were the usual shampoo ,conditioner, tea coffee milk supplied , I would definitely stay there again

Nothing not to like

Very clean and bed was very comfortable - a lovely spacious apartment with 2 toilets!. Staff at reception helpful and parking included in the price. Everything supplied to cook up a storm in the kitchen if you wanted to. Aircon really good. Great to have Streaming services available on TV also.

Frequent items used from kitchen cupboards, glasses and plates etc out of reach for a shorter person - had to stand on a chair! No shelf in the shower to put soap, shampoo on etc. One morning a cleaner tried to get into the room as we were eating breakfast even though it was not check out that day - it was my understanding that the apartment was not to be serviced during our stay. A bit noisy at night , especially early morning when the garbage trucks came onto the property around 5am.

Modern apartment with plenty of space, comfortable seating and an excellent bed. A huge balcony, but as the view was directly into the apartments next door we didn't use it. The kitchen was well-equipped for self-catering, with very good appliances and access to the building and carpark was easy - being on Bay Rd, having traffic lights at the entrance was greatly appreciated, as was free allocated parking. Good value for money.

A few omissions that were mildly irritating - no shelf in the shower for shampoo etc and the kitchen area was very dark, with a useless rangehood light, black tiles and dark benchtops. Some under-cupboard lighting would be useful. No microwave containers were provided, or a chopping board and there was no coffee machine or plunger. Fortunately we carry a few supplies of our own when on a road trip.
