Location was great, staff were lovely

I dont understand why we had a bedroom that had the bed against the window making very hard for me to get in and out and no bedside table, when I looked at the other open doors if other bedrooms they had a bigger room. Also the noise was very high from other guests all three nights, it would be good if they were reminded to be courteous when returning to their room.

- the staff are lovely, they helped me understand the area, renting in australia and was so attentive - the hotel is so clean - there is entertainment and live music at night, its such a good atmosphere - the toastie shop downstairs does the best ice coffees and also the best toasties / such a good price too!!! - in the evening they serve food till 9 and its such good value for money - you can walk to the beach in 5 minutes! - the shower is so powerful, the bathroom does look basicish but don’t let looks fool you - i love the quirky hippy interior and vibe - the pool opens at 7am and they have a pool table, hot tub and a bar open all day till 9pm - the reception is open 24/7 and they are so helpful - having a microwave and fridge saves so much money I originally booked the hotel for 6 nights, however due to potentially finding a house i changed the dates so i could book on each night if needed. We ended up extending the stay by two additional nights due to the above!

Loved everything

Walking distance to the beach was great. Balcony view great as well. My children enjoyed the hot tub and the mini swimming pool as well. Nice inner court area - for meetings, relaxing area.

Walking on a busy street to the beach would have been a prob with younger children, but not mine actually. The interior colours in the room were a bit from the 60ies, but again, my children commented on it, I like the price/ value/ location relationship, so thx.

They had a 24 hour reception which was good as well as good reserved parking for motel guests. Nice silhouette picture of Robert Plant on the wall.

There were no toiletries in the room other than soap. I thought this was a bit strange although you could ask at reception for them. The motel is rather old. In the cafe there were news clippings from when Led Zeppelin stayed in 1972. While they were a great band, it is not good to keep the motel as a shrine for 50 years. Time to show the place a whole lotta love and have a refurb.

Loved the retro feel. Everything was adequate, heating was great; beds were comfy, loved the meal at street eats eatery down in the bar and thought the spa that you had to walk through the bar to get too, was fab

Bathroom was very basic but still functional

The ladies staff are lovely and hospitable. Beds are very comfortable. I liked a lot that my parents and myself were hosted so well on the next booking from 20-22th Feb where we needed a second bed.

The bathroom I stayed in during this one night stay had no light switch. Hence I had to shower in the dark with small light shadowed from the entrance door. The bathroom tiles could do a redo.

The room was great, next to the pool so nice & convenient. Close to Coles and the eating/entertainment strip of Scarborough Beach so didn't have to go far to eat. Great place to stay with kids in Summer... they can swim while parents relax with a few drinks from the bar, where you can also order from "Toastface Gorillas" kitchen. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay, will be back soon.... thanks!

I couldn't fault anything much apart from a lack of lights & power points in our room.

They are older rooms but the bed is great shower was very powerful, the staff were awesome to talk to and having the pub attached for midday drinks n a swim or night time dinner with a live band. Stayed on a Saturday night place was shut early enough to get a good shut eye and got to see an amazing young local band. Would stay again. Oh and can get a great coffee and brekkie in the morning from the coffee shop.

Not a fan of certain showers but won't be a deal breaker here as location and the rest are pretty perfect

The beds were extremelyyyyyyy comfortable!! We actually found it hard to get out of it each day. Also had a smart tv which you should connect your phone to which was great as it rained every day we were there sadly. Location is also very good, only a few minutes walk to the beachfront! And lots of food places close by. Staff were also so lovely and helped give us suggestions of where to go around perth etc as it was our first time there!!

We had a beautiful stay in Indian Ocean the first of many trips we hope. Visiting our daughter in Scarborough. Jess & Patsy THANK YOU BOTH ! Exceptional friendliness care and attention we became friends

Only thing we missed was beds at pool would have been nice
