The room is big and comfortable with everything needed. Comfortable bed and couch seat. Big smart TV (no netflix account). Cleaning refreshments every second day. Towels,soaps,coffee,milk, trash bins etc. Which is very nice. Nice Balcony. Fully equiped kitchen. Quiet. Location is good, 5 min walk from a public bus stop, main street and a park..

The entrance is through a packed restaurant. So always you have to pass between tables as you go in and out. Usually when the hotel has restaurant its still has seperate lobby for convenience of the guests and the restaurant is on the side - here its just a restaurant you have to pass through to get to the elevator. The location itself is good within the city but its uphill no matter which side you go. The hotel is at the bottom of the hills around it. So better to be fit.

Terrible shower. One of the worst I’ve ever had. No pressure. Get rid of the 9l/min limiter. Breakfast area super busy and noisy…Xmas functions.Door leading to the balcony was stuck.

It is in a beautiful location my room was the "James Bond 007 Special" which was a one-off fun and very Lux. The staff are Fabulous. I was there for work on a Monday night so the attached (independent) restaurant & bar was not open. So, you know Go the Workers! But sad I did not staying Tuesday to Sunday to access the onsite bar and restaurant that night.

Breakfast - very yummy but had to order as take away and eat it in my hotel room as there were no tables at 7:15 am in the morning even though I was a hotel guest. Luckily I was booked into the hotel until 10am so took brekkie and ate it in my room. I often stay for work in Perth (as a remote Great Southern worker for designated Office Contact Days) and appreciate the unique and different but, for the money it does not really stack up for the facilities available. (Although it IS GREAT). There was also construction going on in the neighbouring building which started very early (I'm sure this is seasonal) but it woke me up before 6 am.

Perfect base for a week checking out Perth. The spacious unit was clean and comfortable with everything we needed. It was always a surprise to step out of the lift from the quiet of our room into a busy, popular breakfast bar. We didn't eat there, but I expect one would need to book. They do meals several evenings a week too. Just 5 minutes walk to the bottom if the street and over the bridge to a bus stop for 3 different free city CAT bus routes and several paid services . We could have walked up the steep street to Kings Park, but since we are lazy, we just took the short flat walk to catch the blue CAT which goes right into Kings park, as well as right into town. Town and Elizabeth Quay are also very walkable down hill.

The bathroom is rather tired and is planned for upgrade. There is not much leg room in front of the low toilet for a taller person. It is all perfectly functional though.

My mum and I stayed here for my bodybuilding comps that were at the Perth Convention Centre. Location is great. Right near Kings Park. Loved it! Walking bridge over into the CBD and only 10 minute walk to Convention Centre. Room was perfect for what we needed with stove and microwave. Beautiful little balcony looking out to green trees and some tall buildings. Breakfast option is great having Mount Street Breakfast Bar at the bottom. They do good coffee!

Room wasn't quite as clean and crisp as the photos and is a little dark when you're on the first level. The bathroom didn't have a window to open for fresh air. The bathroom door is super heavy! And didn't close properly. I think it just needs to be re-hinged. Would be really great to have a discount for breakfast for guests staying at the hotel.

Excellent location near city centre and Kings Park and bonus of car parking. Fabulous restaurant with friendly staff, great service and superb food at a good price Friendly reception and housekeeping staff Great size studio apartment and well equipped

It would be nice to have frosted glass on the partitions between the balconies so you can’t see your neighbours and to have a small clothes drier to hang a few items of washing out (beach towels and swimsuits) rather than having to drape them over a chair but these are only suggestions and would not put us off staying again.

I enjoyed my stay at 42 Mount Street. The room is spacious and has all basic cooking utensils. The towels are replaced once in two days. The location is great! Close to my office, Kings Park, Jacob’s Ladder, and CBD. The staff is also really helpful. The perks are the breakfast bar and bookshop at the ground floor. Definitely will stay again!

If the laundry room can be opened past 7:00 pm, that would be great! This is not a concern, but sometimes it feels a bit weird to come in and out from the hotel when you have to pass the lively bar at the front door.

The location is excellent—very close to the city center and also near Kings Park. The accommodation environment is flawless! There are around ten free parking spots available (secured with a code, very safe), and they're on a first-come, first-served basis. We might have come during the off-season, so we were lucky to always find a spot. The room is well-equipped and nicely ventilated. The bed is super comfortable—not too soft, just right! If they offered a free drink or breakfast downstairs for guests staying a few nights, that would make it even more amazing!

The restaurant downstairs is amazing! Many people come just for it. Starting around 7 AM, guests begin arriving for breakfast, so you’ll hear bits of conversation here and there. If you're a light sleeper, you might get woken up by the noise.

Location excellent - King's Park our back door and the CBD our front door. Loved walking daily in both locations as well as riverside. Also liked the accessibility to public transport when we were going further afield. Balcony with the sound of native birds and aroma of native trees. Cafe/restaurant with excellent staff - only went there twice in two weeks but it's a bonus and our local family/friends had visited/were aware of it.

Lighting in the main room; Lack of grab rails in the shower (floor was slippery so we needed to be extra careful); Prolonged fan noise in the bathroom was annoying; Cleaners carts taking up space in the corridors (suggest, because there were also shopping bags hanging from the side of the carts, they be trained to place their carts vertically/or partially vertically in the doorway to the unit they're cleaning rather than taking up all the space which prevents guests from walking through to the lift/exit).

I had a lovely stay at this hotel. I found it well placed in a quiet area but still close to the city. The room was very clean and the bed comfortable. I had breakfast at the attached cafe one morning and it was very nice.

The hours for the laundry room were a little inconvenient, I wanted to do laundry before I left so had to plan my day to make sure I was back at the apartment by mid afternoon to ensure I could get both wash and dry cycles done in time. The black painted walls in the room weren't to my taste, but that is purely my opinion.
