The room was super clean! The facilities were adequate. The location was excellent. The bed was great! I vacillated in leaving a positive review in view of the negative experience (see below) which, through no one's, fault impacted our experience. The fact that we ultimately received an understanding response from the manager as well as a complete refund went some way towards changing my review from 3 to 8.
There was an airconditioner leak overnight that flooded the bathroom and we were rained on during the night whenever we went to the bathroom. The staff were sympathetic but were unable to give us an alternative room as they were booked out. The morning staff were less than sympathetic.

The two ladies at the front desk were wonderful and incredibly helpful (I can't remember their names but one was Filipino and the other Korean). Rooms felt a bit dated, but comfortable and decent nonetheless. The bed was comfortable and I slept well. I also had a big desk to get my work done, as well as a lounge sofa. My room was facing the main road, but I couldn't really hear what was going on, which was good. The bathroom was also huge, and there's even a bathtub for those who require one. The location is great, I walked almost everywhere in the CBD from the property.
The maintenance guy didn't knock and abruptly opened the door into my room (he thought I was not inside), stunning both me and him. I feel this is very unsafe and should NOT be done, and staff should ALWAYS knock first and wait.

The staff, especially Jo, Tina and Nicca, were exceptionally welcoming and very helpful in addressing some minor issues that I encountered.
Some of the facilities are not very accessible for shorter people, eg. the microwave is placed very high in a cupboard instead of on the bench (rectified when I raised this issue with staff); the hooks to hang bath towels are similarly inaccessible. The TV remote was very complex to use. There are no bedside lamps and the overhead downlights are extremely glary and couldn't be used for reading. Again, this issue was addressed when I asked about the availablilty of a reading lamp. I expected a room with a large window with views, given the photos on Booking.com, but had a very small window overlooking a walls of other buildings. It would be good if the photos shown were representative of all the rooms, so that expectations are set appropriately.

The central location was ideal for walking, transport and restaurants.
The bathroom was very dated and not a pleasant environment although clean enough. The kitchen facilities were basic (just enough cutlery, plates etc for one). The kitchen appliances - toaster, kettle - were old and need replaced. Drawers were off their runners - a bit tacky and cheap. Disappointing / inconvenient that no washing machine /dryer available in the apartment although communal laundry room available on same floor.

We had to check out of another hotel nearby because they could not accommodate us for an extra 2 nights being booked out. Our flight was cancelled at short notice due to a cyclone pasding our next destination. I only booked Citadines the night before and explained the situation. A room was available first thing in the morning and we could move in without being charged the early checkin fee. Much appreciated.
Very good location, in the CBD and busses right outside the hotel. If I were to stay longer, a room with a view rather than an internal courtyard would have been preferable. But we did not mind in our special situation, were very happy.

My partner and I had a wonderful stay at this apartment. From the moment we arrived, we appreciated the thoughtful details that made our visit both comfortable and convenient. The room was spacious and included a small kitchen, that was great for preparing breakfast and some snacks. The apartment’s location was ideal—situated in a perfect area for exploring the city, we were never far from key attractions, allowing us to fully immerse ourselves in Perth’s vibrant urban life. Although some of the equipment felt a bit dated, everything was fully functional and more than adequate for our needs. The friendly receptionist added a personal touch by always being available to help, and the fast internet connection was more than sufficient for streaming our favourite Netflix shows in the evenings. Overall, this apartment provided a balanced mix of comfort, convenience, and value. We would gladly recommend it to anyone looking for a pleasant stay in Perth.
Some of the equipment could be in better shape, but it wasn't a big deal.

Very comfortable bed, and a spacious room and bathroom. Kitchenette had cooking faculties, but we only used the tea and coffee facilities. Good front desk staff, very helpful. The place is situated at the top end of St Georges near Central, this is a very hectic place to find at the end of the day and when the city folk are leaving work.
Oddly, there was a heater going on the window sill, and temp outside was a balmy 38 degrees. Not sure what that was about, we were able to put the room temp down to 22 with the air con. No parking available, we had to use the Wilson across the road and as I have a mine spec LV, I only just scrapped in. Parking was subsidised though and I paid $10 for the night.

Excellent position, very nice, kind and helpful staff, large room with large bed and very good mattress. Useful desk and wheeled chair for working the room, tea, coffee, microwave, fridge and even hot plates for cooking. The toilet is large and clean, but old. Nothing missing, however do not expect any charme or fancy detail: it is a very practical and solid choice for working in Perth for a limited time.
There is almost no life downtown after 6 p.m. (at least in the Australian winter) so the advantage of staying there is minimal: it is limited to good bus and train connections and short commute time with workplace.

Excellent location, was able to walk everywhere (5-30min). Also a pretty quick ride to/from the airport. Room was nice but I requested one with a bath and that room was a bit outdated. Also some dust/dirt on the bath and cups. Bed was SUPER comfortable!! Fridge, microwave, stove top, kettle, plates, cups, etc. in room was great. Reception staff friendly, check in and out easy and quick. Also loved the lounge/sofa in the room and desk.
Shower was ok, medium water pressure. Mostly clean, but some dirt/dust. Not 100% soundproof. There's wasn't a lot of noise but I heard people at the elevator (room was next to it) and also sometimes some noises from nextdoor. All and all it was quiet during sleeping hours. Price a bit high but also because I was alone. And no view.

The choice for Citadines St Georges Terrace was a kind of emergency for us because another housing in Perth we previously booked turned out to be too very noisy. So, we dreamt just about the easygoing, relaxing place in a good location in Perth. And Citadines St Georges Terrace covered all our expectations. The room was super comfy, big, quiet, clean, and very well-located. Plus for the free-of-charge laundromat! We read some critical comments, which made us worried a bit, but completely unjustified. The place is truly worth further recommendation.
