The woman at the reception Abi, was wonderful!! She upgraded us to a suit for our 25th anniversary when we weren't pleased with our first choice. The room was bigger, it was pretty clean and comfortable. The location was perfect!! we enjoyed being close to town, Elizabeth Quay, and Kings Park - all within walking distance - which was a wonderful surprise.

The room we booked did not meet our expectations - it was small stuffy and did not match what we saw online. The breakfast was very minimal and we had to pay extra for little things like Hot chocolate and Orange Juice which I found to be weird.

Sensational! 100/100. I usually stay at the Hilton. They recently raised their prices by about 40% and wouldn't budge, so I found you and ended up in a better hotel at a much better price. Staff were all marvelous. Personable and sincere--not just putting on an act for show like most hotels. I really enjoyed everything about the stay and slept better than I do at home. Wonderful bed, quiet, clean, well-kept rooms and beautiful ambience throughout. Terrific breadfast menu, PERFECT Eggs Benedict, GREAT coffee and all the staff were wonderful.

The Breakfast included made up my mind to choose the Terrace vs other Accomodation in the area. The Staff were great, very helpful and the reason why I will choose and stay at The Terrace again.

The Tv in room 12 was hopeless. I had to keep re- setting it every night .

Room was spacious and comfortable. Included breakfast was great and ability to eat at the restuarant/bar for dinner was handy.

The fact the widows are covered with privacy screen (I assume to prevent overlooking office buildings looking in) prevented opening up and letting in natural light in the morning.

The hotel was so quiet hardly felt I was in the city

the bar guys were very kind and helpful Comfy clean rooms.

The bejaviour of blonde hair girl at bar. She was very rude and she didnt want to ask our order for breakfast. They said ala carte menu with INSTANT cafe🤣 Even at the 1st day ahe forgot to put the starberries on top. She disnt say sorry. Rhe blond hair waitress gave on the 2nd day very bad caffe when i ordered a paid one. He didnt respect us, as hotel’s guests. we waited more than 30 minutes for just notics us… We can say kind kf self service breakfast. very poor choice of breakfast The desktop was bit dirty in room

We enjoyed staying here it was handy for the river & outings on boats. Lots of nice places to eat & drink at the quay. Breakfast was great & the food in general was really good & not too expensive . The atmosphere at this hotel was great very relaxed great outdoor seating area . Very busy for after work drinks on a Friday . Room was lovely great comfy bed & bath in the bathroom . Staff are friendly & helpful.

No parking for the car but it is very old hotel & in the middle of CBD !!!

Well located, very nice breakfasts.Breakfasts are a set ( limited menu) but plenty of choice, well presented. Good value for city hotel. Also had a dinner in restaurant which was very good. Old world charm was appealing.......(but it did lack some creature comforts)..Right near bus stops that would take you almost anywhere right in front of hotel. Including free blue bus.

The pillows were HUGE and hard. Housekeeping swapped them for us, but still big. I put a scatter cushion in a pillow case to sleep. We were there for 3 nights so a good sleep was important. No mirror in the bedroom area ( plenty of room to put one in) and one light was out in bathroom which meant doing hair or make-up was very difficult in the only mirror. Bathroom being very dark no natural light. Being over a weekend maintenance was not available to fix light. The bar fridge was leaking water. Something else for maintenance..Staff were kept busy in restaurant and for breakfast, but very few smiles or conversation from them. Just lacked a friendly feel.

Location was great. Everything was as most people would expect.

These are personal things so will not be relevant for most people. I like a shallow almost flat pillow but here they were very high and uncomfortable so were unusable by me. They could not offer an alternative when asked so l had to use a towel inside the pillow case instead. They have very small tea cups so l had to brew up twice when l wanted a drink. They might look pretty but I’d prefer a mug or big cup. I didn’t ask if l could get one.
