Everything is very functional. Room is very well thought out and planned with Rituals amenities, kitchenette setup with ample fancy crockery, sauna, nice balcony. Breakfast is amazing - can make own fresh juices, fresh breads and pastries, cold cuts and yogurts. Free parking. Awesome views of the mountains and lake. Ben at reception is professional and very helpful and attentive to all your needs.

The location is amazing as it faces the Zell am see lake. The balcony is perfect for taking nice picture overlooking the entire lake. The sauna inside room is also great

Our suite was on 4th floor which had a block in the view due to another facility .. but disappointed for us.

The location, view is perfect.. i felt home, warm atmosphere in addition the lake view which makes our stay with different taste regarding the room, you cant miss anything.. they know what you are searching for.. one of the rare hotels which i felt that they know what you need All of these wont be perfectly touched without their Highly professional staff (Valeska and Maram) who helped Us lots, they did their best to make our stay unforgettable Valeska instructions drew our stay € € Thank you all

Location was 10 walking minutes from the center, so very quite but still convenient. Breakfast was good. A bit of variation could have improved the quality to excellent. Staff was very helpful and friendly. What I liked a lot: We went skiing for the entire last day after checking out and were still entitled to use the hotel shuttle service to the lift in the late afternoon to come back, get our luggage and wait in the lobby for a taxi.

The location is great. The property is located on the hill and you get an unobstructed view of the lake (even from the non-panoramic-view room). Also, it is very quiet and warm. The building has a nice isolation. I didn’t even need to turn the heating on and could leave the window open. The room was very cosy and clean - there is everything you might need(even some free drinks in the mini-bar). And finally, the service is great - nice variety of food for breakfast and very friendly staff.

Honestly, there is nothing to complain about. The only thing I can think of is the bed length. I’m 188 cm and it was a bit short. But it’s a super minor thing.

Spotlessly clean. Nice facilities im the room which was fully equipped like a normal apartment. Nice cosy atmosphere and design. Good breakfast.

Location is approximately 15 minutes walking to Zell am See centre. No bus stop near by so you either need to walk or take a taxi. The road to the hotel offers amazing views of the lake and the surroundings. The only issue is that the hill is a bit steep so walking back is a bit challenging after a long day. Other than that no negative point to mention here.

The rooms have a balcony and a lovely view of the lake! They are very comfortable and well-designed. The staff were also nice and friendly!

Some small details that could have been better: online it says that the saunas are available till 10pm but they actually close them at 9pm which doesn’t leave much time to use them if you spend the whole day out. Also, there is not always someone at the reception. As a result, we had to wait for half an hour to check in or leave our luggage, even though we arrived in the middle of the day and the note they left said that they’d be back in five minutes. At least leaving a mobile number to call would have been helpful!

The Nikolas is a modern establishment with attractive studios. Our room had both a sauna and a kitchenette that was great for post hiking and keeping snacks. The room was well laid out, large, and with a nice patio for sitting. The breakfast buffet was fresh, and varied, with a juicer for making fresh juice! An honor bar was available for beverages night and day as well in the reception area. If you're driving, there's ample parking under the hotel free of charge, and plug in for your electric vehicle. The staff was most helpful and friendly.

Not all rooms have the lake views as advertised, so do establish your room choice in advance. The Nikolas is above the town, and though a lovely walk, trekking uphill may not be your hope after an evening in Zell am Zee.

The Nikolaus by AvenidA Panoramic Wellness Suites accommodation was brilliant. It was very clean, spacious and had a lovely view. The staff were excellent especially Fatih Koc who went above and beyond for us. He was always welcoming, informative and kind throughout our stay. He would shuttle us to and from the hotel to the skii lift and was always reliable getting us back to the hotel after our day out skiing. Thank you Fatih for really making the trip so easy and fun! We hope to visit again!

Perhaps the walk to and from the hotel to the centre of town, slightly bit of an inclined walk up but during the hotel shuttle hours it was easy enough regardless thanks to the hotel staff.
