A really well set up hotel in a fantastic location. Our room was particularly well appointed, and all the facilities available made a very pleasurable break. All the staff we met were very helpful

Parking is an issue here and I managed when turning to scrape the car bumper slightly as a result. It will be an expensive repair. Make sure you use Google Maps to find it as getting past and under the railway line is a challenge for the first time visitor. And when turning, watch out for the low granite kerb outside the main entrance. It carries a number of scars!

All rooms looking over the lake. Watching the morning mist rising above the lake and over the mountains is magical. The chef at the hotel is always great. I would recommend half board. The spa downstairs is lovely and they have more than one sauna and steam rooms. Refreshments offered throughout the hotel, so if you fancy a peppermint tea with some dried fruits and nuts then you don't need to ask, it's there for you.

The coffee in the room is delicious. I would have loved to have more that is included in the price / package. However, the hotel does offer you to buy more at only 1 euro.

The hotel is much better than the reviews written about it. In addition, it is only a 5-minute pleasant walk to the center along the lake. Your windows will be 10 meters from the water. Breakfast and dinner are quite good.

Everything is good

The rooms all overlook the lake and are both well designed and comfortable. The staff are helpful and friendly when treated with respect. We spent a full week here on half board and enjoyed the meals which were varied and representative of local cuisine nicely presented. The summer card provided at the hotel and the Salzburg travel card make getting around both easy and in the majority of cases, free. I would definitely return

-Breakfast buffet is limited and needs enhancements. -check out time is very early at 11 clock also they charge 50 EUR for every additional hour after check out time where other hotels usually allows you to stay extra hour for free. -parking area is small and you may end up with no parking. -they gave me a guideline paper translated to my language explaining how to use the accommodation properly with additional information of forbidden things and the due charges if i lost my room key it made me feel uncomfortable and not welcomed!

We had an unforgettable stay at Hotel Seevilla Freiberg! The location is perfect, with the hotel overlooking the lake, and the room was just incredible. The window and balcony gave us the feeling that we were right on the water, with stunning views of the lake, mountains, and the charming township houses. Both breakfast and dinner were excellent, and the staff were incredibly friendly and attentive.

The only downside was that the pillows were too soft for our liking.

I was here to watch the Europa Cup women's slalom races in mid-January. I was welcomed warmly and treated so very nicely. I was traveling alone (meeting up with friends at the races), so I appreciated the warmth and professional treatment by all staff. Especially kind were the front desk attendant and the dining room attendants named Dragana and Nikolina. The exercise room and saunas were spot clean and fresh, with ample towels, showers and changing rooms. The attendant explained all the areas to me. My room had a most splendid view of the lake with the mountain backdrop. It was a short walk to the bottom of the racing location. Breakfast and coffee (cappuccino/espresso) was very good, many choices. `
