Our stay was magical! We were in awe from the minute we arrived and we were sad to leave. Our hosts were incredibly helpful and so welcoming. The accommodation was perfect and so clean and well maintained. Our hosts invited us to go to a professional ice hockey game of the Zell em See team and it was a once in a lifetime experience. The hosts organised for the team to sign a jersey for my son who was overwhelmed with the hosts kindness and is having the signed jersey framed. The breakfasts were excellent and the dining room was beautifully set out/decorated; our hosts booked evening meals for us in Zell em See at places they recommended which resulted in us having incredible dining experiences. We loved everything about the Hotel, the facilities and our hosts from the minute we arrived until our hosts dropped us off at the train station to start our journey back to Australia. We had a magnificent time and we are planning to go back there. We highly recommend this Hotel with its amazing facilities and hosts. 10/10👍

Very friendly staff throughout our stay. Room was spacious with a balcony. Good shower room. We had breakfast on the decking and it was great. Normal range of yogurts, fruit, nuts. Eggs made to order. Smoked salmon. Great coffee. Had a summer card which gave us a free lake trip. Pool indoors and was great. There is also an outdoor seating area off the pool as well as inside. Sweets and energy bars free at reception. Lift went to the lower ground for parking. Close to restaurants. Near to ski lifts for winter stays.

No facility for evening meal and hotel located on a slight hill. No bar although we were offered a drink at the poolside if we had wanted one.

The hotel is located just a few steps (300 meters) from the city center. The room is modern, spacious, and very clean. Breakfast was also great.I really liked the pool and saunas. It was very relaxing.But the best thing about this hotel was the host, Elizabeth. She made me feel welcome from the moment I stepped into the hotel. She can recommend the best things to do there, was always helpful, and even offered to close the pool and spa a little bit later so we could enjoy them after the long ride.If you want to enjoy your stay in a modern hotel with a family atmosphere, this is the perfect choice.

The staff was great and everyone was making sure I had a pleasant stay. The location was optimal for daytrips to the mountains as well as evening strolls in the city and down by the lake. Enjoyed myself very much!

As a Finn I am used to very accurate water temperatures and I found it a bit frustrating to have to wait a bit to get hot water from the shower.

Location is directly on the lift and the hotel can be accessed directly from the slopes. Very central and walking distance to the center and very good restaurants. Amazing hosts, very heartfelt and attentive. Excellent team, excellent breakfast, very nice and comfortable rooms.

The hotel was very nice, the location is very excellent, the owner received us an excellent reception, summer cards were provided, the family rooms are excellent, the staff was friendly and keen not to disturb the Wi-Fi was very excellent, thank you for the hospitality

The carpets in the corridors of the family rooms need to be changed, there is a city tax and we were informed on the last day, it would be good to inform us when checking in or before booking for affording the amount of money

The hotel team was very friendly and helpful, we used the summer card a lot and got excellent recommendation from the ,hotel team about the best attractions and activities. We also received help from the team on some personal issues and we got excellent service.

Room with view of the lake was magnificent. Bathroom with heated floor was something great as it was freezing outisde and big spacious with all amenities, Breakfast good variety and organic :)

As we were there during end April, we did not know the outside sitting patio was closed and bar inside as well :)

Das Sporthotel Alpin is a WONDERFUL family-run hotel ideally located in the attraction-packed Zell-am-See, 3 minutes from the small bus terminal 8 minutes from the train station but not right in the noisy center. It is very clean and renovated with touches of tradition and the lake-view room with balcony was amazing. The owners are very welcoming. They gave me all the information I needed about activities and even gave me a short ride to the train station with my heavy suitcase. The breakfast had many options and they make eggs to order along with the fresh waffle maker. The saunas and small indoor pool are great to relax after a long hiking or skiing day and one of the cable cars is right next to the hotel! From May to September you also get the tourist card which is a huge bonus! I actually already want to go back to this hotel tomorrow!!!

The WiFi was sometimes a bit slow.

Very spacious room, despite the “budget” category, with a perfect view from the balcony. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The “SUMMERCARD” makes it totally worth it as it includes sich perks as ALL lifts, incl Kitzsteinhorn. The breakfast was also quite nice!
