The apartment is in an excellent area. It is very close to lots of good restaurants (Taco Santo, Golden Gai - were two we tried and loved). Walking to a more commercial area is approximately ten minutes. It's great that it is so close, but yet far enough away that you don't hear any noise from the energy. Most of Ghents' main attractions are a comfortable walking distance. The apartment itself was decorated in a very modern and pleasant way. The unit was very clean with nice touches like an instant coffee maker, complimentary water and beer, a microwave, and cups for coffee and beverages. Our unit was one without a kitchen, so those little amenities really appreciated. The flat had a huge bedroom with an attached toilet and a large bathroom. The vanity had dual sinks, and the walk-in shower was large with great pressure and water temperature. The living room was bright and comfortable with a very good pullout sofa. With the provided mattress pad, it was excellent to sleep on. We didn't use the loft bed, but it was an interesting feature. The host was very attentive and committed to her guests. She gave us a thorough walk through of the unit upon arrival and made sure we had everything we needed. She was very responsive when messaged and did a check-in with us part way through our stay. The service with this apartment was as good as the unit.

The one minor issue we had, is something that a couple or a family would not have. There wasn't a door between the bedroom and the sofa bed. As someone staying with a family member, a little bit more privacy would have been better. Otherwise, this apartment was perfect.

Beautiful apartment with very nice and modern furniture. Very nice host, who met us personally and told us a lot about the neighbourhood. Everything needed for our stay was provided, including coffee machine (thank a lot for that!)

First of all, be aware that people from outside can look into your window. The apartment is located on the ground floor. There are large beautiful windows with view of the yard and small ally between neighbouring houses. And if you want to have a natural light inside and open the curtains, sometimes you can see people passing by very close to your window. I would suggest to change the glass in the yard door to matted or frosted one, so it would still let the light in. Also, toilet room is very cold. Maybe, in summer it's not a problem, but in March it was not very comfy. Otherwise, the apartment is very good

Ria was a great host meeting us upon arrival to run us through the property and a book of attractions and eating options she’s curated for your convenience. She’s always a WhatsApp message away for any issues although we didn’t need to disturb her at all during our stay. We loved everything about this property, but the main thing was the bed! KING size cloud with comfy cushions to match. The property has all the facilities you need to stay as long as you please. Although it’s a small place it’s perfect for a single or couple or even 3 as it has a futon couch. The location is great with a 15 min walk to Gent-dampoort train station to connect you to other cities. Short walk to grocery stores and eating options and easy walking distance to the middle of town to start your exploration in Ghent.

Not a negative on the property but more of a FYI to keep in mind is the toilet area can get lots of condensation in the winter months if the door is kept shut so it pays to keep an eye on that if it’s something that erks you.

Walkable from Gent Dampoort Station, spotlessly clean and well equipped. Our friendly host Ria welcomed us personally, and gave a full rundown on how everything worked, as well as lots of tourist information. Had a great Italian meal at Gigi’s, and lovely Chicken Waterzooi and generous Caesar Salad at Du Progress restaurants. The boss reckons the hot chocolate in the Artevelde Brewery was best she’d had; mind you beer wasn’t bad either. Worth a visit to the Fine Art Museum to see last pieces of Mystic Lamb being restored. Note trams currently not following full routes shown on maps at present.

Perfect stay. The host was super friendly and responsive, the apartment was very clean, quite, and had all little details right (hygiene products, towels, coffee/tea, local recommendations etc.). Also the neighbourhood is great, bordering the heart of the city centre, so it's a 5-10 minute walk to the center with being safe and quite at the same time.

Nothing I did not like. Future travelers should know that there is no elevator to take you to the first and second floor where the apartments are. This was not a problem for us.

Everything! The property is in a great location, close to damport station and the centre, and being on a quiet residential street meant there was no noise. The property itself is was spotless and beautifully decorated. Ria and Tom were the perfect hosts, happy to help with anything and giving us all the information we needed. The property had all the facilities we needed, including luggage storage so we could make the most of our final day. Wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.

Nothing! The only thing to note is there was no safe in the room, however this wasn’t an issue for us as the property felt very secure.

Our host was exceptionally firiendly. She gave us detailed instructions before the arrival and waited outside the property on our arrival, helped us with the luggage. She was always available and said farewell on our departure. This was probably the best personal experience with Booking I had in the last 5 years. The apartment is immaculately presented as two large, very high-ceiling, magnificently spacious rooms. The bathtub is in the bedroom -- unusual but wonderfully appointed and fun to use. There is a pleasant quiet garden in the courtyard. The street is quiet.

Nothing in particular. It was a bit of nuisance to navigate to the parking garage but that's only if you're coming by a car.

The apartment is very well located to be able to access the best parts of the town by foot/cycle/public transport. Ria was extremely kind, hospitable and accommodating of our requests to check-in a bit later in the day since our travel had gotten delayed. She very kindly and humbly hosted us, came to property to share the key/access information and clear guided instructions that would be very helpful to us during our time in the city.

We noticed one thing that could have been better, and that is - the property could use a shower curtain. Seeing as the shower area is quite easily accessible inside the property, a curtain separating the entire unit for the shower and wash area could be added for additional privacy of users.

It was very clean and very comfortable and had a very nice feel to the space. Ria was so helpful and friendly and popped over to meet us straight away even though we were earlier than we had originally said. Excellent shower and oven and everything worked very well. A lovely space to be in with a comfy bed too. A short walk to Ghent old town and supermarket etc also nearby.

Such a lovely well decorated and spacious apartment. All cooking equipment was provided in this clean and well ventilated apartment. Ria was a fantastic host. This apartment is just outside the old city but is easy walking distance with supermarkets and bakeries close by and only 12 minutes walk from Gent Dampoort train station. I would highly recommend this place to others.

Not a problem for me, but guests should be aware some apartments are on the upper floors with no elevator.
