Everything! We were greeted so warmly from the airport as we requested for airport transfer. This made arrival such a breeze and joy at the same time. Checking in was smooth and quick too. We got the family room at the top most floor. The room was spacious and comfortable for the 4 of us. It was kept clean daily too. Breakfast was lovely too. We appreciate the freshly cooked eggs and sausages/meat and the simple but sufficient spread to start our day off before we begin exploring. The location is fantastic as it is within walking distance from various attractions and amenities. Thankful we got to stay here. This will be our choice of stay when we return to explore more of Sarajevo. Thank you everyone at Ornament Hotel. Keep doing a fantastic job!

The staff were very nice and friendly, which made the hotel feel welcoming. The location is great (it is right next to the Latin Bridge and very close to the main street in Sarajevo, which was great. Lots of shops nearby and places to get food. Also, the Bazaar was a 5 min walk from the hotel). The hotel has a lovely yellow colour and can easily be seen from a distance (photo below). The room was lovely, the bathroom was particularly nice with a sort of marble-like look. There was no kettle in the room, but there was a really nice open-kitchen sort of room (2 photos with this review), which had a kettle and equipment you could use to cook your own food (hot plate etc), and a table/chairs area and sofa. This was a super nice touch! Makes it more sustainable for someone wanting to stay for a longer duration (as you can cook your own food etc).

The selection of food at the breakfast was fairly limited, quite basic, but perfectly fine. A bit more of a variety would have been nice. Not having a kettle in the room was made up for by the kettle in the kitchen area!

The hotel is in a brilliant location by the Latin Bridge and directly across the river from the corner where Archduke Ferdinad was assassinated. We selected a room with a balcony which was great for watching the world go by after a good breakfast and for exchanging waves with happy and smiley groups of Japanese tourists below. The staff were great and very friendly. Everything added up to a really enjoyable stay.

Absolutely nothing negative to say.

I chose this hotel for the location, the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful and the room was comfortable, we had a twin because we wanted a room with a balcony which was excellent, looking over the river. The location is ideal for visiting the old town and travelling further, and there are lots of good restaurants around within a few minutes walk. The breakfast was exceptional for a continental, and really good coffee which is always a bonus. I would definitely stay here again. Also there is a taxi stop just a few yards away which is always good.

The location is great, right next to the Latin bridge. It is not a chain hotel so it gives you new emotions. The staff was nice and helpful. Parking is tiny but we always could park there which is really great for this part of Sarajevo. I would go there again despite the few downsides described below.

There were a few things that could be improved. We stayed for 3 nights and our room was never cleaned. Not sure if this is a common practice at this hotel or it happened just to us. Not a big deal but due to that we were out of toilet paper and bathroom amenities. We got everything when we asked for that though. Breakfast was reasonable but could be more diverse. The quantity of vegetables and sausages was very limited, literally a few pieces at a buffet. Possibly they refill that as and when needed but would be more comfortable to avoid asking for a couple of more tomato slices anyway :) notwithstanding the above this hotel is a nice choice, especially if you are tired of chain hotels!

We loved being on the top floor (Room 10) up several flights of stairs, but just know that if you have mobility issues, this is not the right room for you.

Loved the location within a 5 minute walk of the old center + a taxi stand right out front of the hotel. Great staff. Laundry service. Lots of space to store your clothes so you are not living out of a suitcase. Hot water. Dependable wifi. Lots of little details that other hotels forget. Small fridge, coat hooks, towel hooks.

The location is right next to the famous Latin Bridge, which can be seen from the balcony. The hotel is yellow that is also very eye-catching, to the ancient city is very close. The hotel staff were also very friendly and offered to help with luggage.

The free parking is on the gravel next to the hotel, which can be crowded at times. After all, it's free, which is important. Breakfast was served by only one staff, there was no enough food when we arrived, then the staff made more fried eggs.

The hotel's location is just ideal. Baščaršija and the whole city centre is within walking distance. I very much liked the fantastic view from my room's balcony and window to the Latin bridge and to Miljacka. I also very much appreciated the professional yet very friendly attitude of the staff. The room was well equipped (I missed a small desk however) and cosy.

Sound proofing of the room is not perfect and a small desk in the room would be fine.

My room was very clean. It was good in terms of value for money. The staff were friendly and helpful. They provided the necessary assistance and information. As a solo traveler, I felt safe.

There were no slippers in the room. It would have been nice if there had also been slippers and some small toiletries.
