I have been staying in this hotel mostly last 15 years. Each other year I find that they do some renovation. Top location - just on the main street, where all shops and restaurants are. Hotel has some parking places available which is a big plus in the middle of the old city. Excellent breakfast which enough variety of options, plus they can prepare you eggs or omelette according to your preference. Very helpful staff, you can be sure they can assist you for any question you might have.

I really liked the hotel and would recommend it. It is perfectly situated in the Old Town, from where you can see by foot the main sightseeing attractions. The room was very clean and with view on the Bazar. The breakfast was good. The employees were friendly and spoke in good English. The hotel offered as well a taxi transport from the hotel to the airport with a reasonable price. The driver was very friendly and even explained during the drive some of the main buildings we passed through and the history of Sarajevo.

We had an amazing stay at Old Town Hotel in Sarajevo—everything was perfect from start to finish. The hotel was spotless, with high standards of cleanliness throughout. Its central location made it easy for us to explore the city on foot, with major sights, restaurants, and shops just minutes away. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, always ready with a smile and great local recommendations. Breakfast was a daily highlight, with a delicious and varied selection that included local specialties. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay and will definitely return on our next visit to Sarajevo.

The Old Town Hotel exceeded my expectations during my five-day stay. The staff is very friendly, helpful and kind. They helped with recommendations, travel assistance and with anything I needed during my stay. The location is perfect for exploring Sarajevo, located in Bascarsija and close to everything. The rooms are extremely comfortable. As a person who spends most of the day walking and exploring, it was nice to return to the hotel to find a comfortable room, kettle and tea and a wonderfully hot shower to refresh myself before going to dinner. I was extremely impressed by the breakfast. There is a wonderful combination of eggs, cheeses, meats, croissants and bread, yogurt, coffee and juice. The breakfast room is very comfortable and a fantastic value to my stay. I highly recommend the hotel to anyone visiting Sarajevo. This was my first visit to Sarajevo since 1994 and I will return and stay at the Old Town Hotel. Highly recommend!

Excellent location to visit Sarajevo and take tours to other parts of the country from. The staff was exceptional. They made my stay. The breakfast has a daily special. The potato pie was delicious. Fried aubergines were a nice addition. Bosnian coffee was a treat. Bottled water in the room on arrival. Kettle and selections of tea bags and instant coffee.

It would be nice to have a mix of brown and white bread everyday, instead of just white. I would also add local rose jam and sour cream pancakes to the menu, if I could. The rooms and bathrooms are small. The street noise goes on until late at night. Triple glazing would help. These are suggestions on how to make the stay more pleasant.

Great location. Walkable to most everything. The sound-proofing on the windows was impressive. I worried Id be woken by early morning Azan being so close to a big mosque but no, it was very quiet. Breakfast had local specialties and changed a little every day which was nice. Desk staff were super nice and helpful. Housekeeping folded my laundry? I was almost embarrassed. A+ service overall.

Breakfast items seemed to run out if you ate later. My heater didnt appear to function. Like it was all the way up to 5 but didnt seem to be warm. It wasnt too much a problem in spring, but could be a problem in winter if not addressed. Also, the pillows were pretty bad. One was hard and lumpy, the other was very small. This is a relatively inexpensive thing for a hotel to change out regularly but makes a huge difference to customers' comfort. Please consider this!

From our arrival late evening where we were warmly greeted by Anes to our departure where Adnan kindly carried my bags to the waiting taxi, we could not have wished for better service. Zajda was always there to answer any questions we had always with a beautiful warm smile. Adnan was happy to call restaurants on our behalf as the more popular restaurants require a reservation. The website doesn't do the hotel justice. We found it to be super comfortable with good sized rooms, immaculate contemporary style. Large bathrooms with great powerful warm shower. Very comfortable beds and pillows. Breakfast was very varied so plenty of choice with hot dishes too. The staff here in particular Adnan Zajda and Anes are a great asset so professional but service is delivered with such warmth, faultless. The cost of a stay is so very competitive when you compare with the rest of Europe. They could charge mych more and you would still have good value. The hotel has the best location in the old town you feel central to everything. Thank you for making our first trip to Bosnia so perfect.

The Staff, location, and value for money. The staff on Reception, particularly Zajda, were superb and couldn't do enough to make my stay a pleasant one. Nothing was too much trouble. The hotel is 3 minutes walk from the Latin bridge, right in the heart of the old town. If you're planning on doing any guided walks, or excursions, it is perfectly situated for getting to the main companies which operate in the city. There are lots of places to eat and drink right on your doorstep but it is not a noisy area, so you'll get a good nights sleep. I highly recommend this hotel.

The hotel was in an excellent location to tour Sarajevo. Bascarsija Square, the starting point of Rick Steves’s Sararajevo walk was just a few steps away. We did all three parts of RS walk at once, taking the tram back to the hotel from just south of University of Sarajevo at the end of walking. Due to central location we were able to make multiple trips to Latin Market and surrounding mosques and Latin Bridge. We took Autoprevoz Bus from Mostar East station to Sarajevo for just over 2 1/2 hours. Then cross the road to University of Sarajevo campus from southwest corner of the bus station, crossed the campus southward to take an antique looking tram to Latin Bridge stop, from which the hotel was just one block north straight up. Easy to find. Reception desk was staffed 24 hours in 3 shifts and the staff were so kind and willing to help in anyway. On our checkout day, they made sandwiches for us due to our early flight requirement, almost 90 minutes before the kitchen opening hour. The breakfast was very enjoyable and excellent although hot items were limited. The room was very well maintained clean and functional and modern. We could view the neighboring mosque’s minaret from the window and the popular street could also be viewed. Due to dual pain window, street noise was no problem; however, we could hear lobby activities during evening due to our room location being just one flight of stairs up from it. At night it was very quiet. Bathroom did not have body lotion but had a hand held bidet faucet. The room had a mini refrigerator and the temperature was kept perfectly. While the room felt a little tight, it provided good space for two of us. Airport shuttle was provided at 20 EUR and it reliably transported us to the airport in early morning hour. The driver was very courteous.

The Old Town Hotel's location is outstanding, situated right at the heart of Sarajevo's Ottoman-era centre and beside the Gazi Husrev-beg Mosque - meaning most of the city's main sights are right on your doorstep. Despite its centrality, however, noise from outside was minimal in the room itself. The room was kitted out with everything needed for a comfortable stay, including a complimentary bottle of water and a kettle with coffee and a variety of teas. A tasty breakfast was included in my stay with plenty of options available, including cold meats, toast, scrambled and fried eggs, and a selection of cheeses. The staff were friendly, helpful and extremely understanding after I double-booked my airport transfer, managing to resolve the issue with minimal fuss.

Nothing - I was completely satisfied with my stay! Many thanks.
