I recently had the pleasure of staying at Hotel Konak in Sarajevo, and I must say, the experience was truly exceptional. The hospitality was amazing and authentic, filled with kindness and openness from the host. In many ways, it surpassed the hospitality I’ve received in big, fancy hotels. The cleanliness of the facilities was good, and the breakfast was delightful, adding to the comfort of my stay. The hotel’s top location puts everything in the city within walking distance, and the view from my room directly overlooked Baščaršija, providing a breathtaking sight. A special mention must be made for the private tours offered by the hotel. Don’t bother booking tours on TripAdvisor; the tailored tours arranged by the hotel were magnificent and catered specifically to what I wanted to see. The location is perfect! In the Center, close to Baščaršija. I can highly recommend it, especially if this is your first time in Sarajevo and/or BiH. The staff is super friendly and kind. You feel like part of the family.

Because of the location close to a super busy road some people might find the noise disturbing in the evenings. (Tho I didn’t have any problems with it)

Requested one queen size bed but we got 2 single beds, happy to help putting them together but not as comfortable to sleep together on that arrangement as there is a line in the middle.

Hotel Konak is centrally located in the heart of Sarajevo old district. Very easy access to most of the landmarks, as well as huge variety of pubs and restaurants available on the doorstep. Extremely helpful staff making sure we have all we needed for our stay. Secure carpark is not available at the hotel, but the hotel staff have reserved space for me on the nearby parking lot (paid separately). Breakfast was tasty and of good quality.

Due to the central location, it can be a noisy in the room because of the trams passing just outside of the building.

Location is amazing. It has access to the old town. Room was squeaky clean. Allowed me to check in early. Breakfast was good.

They offered transfers from bus station to hotel coz they said no public transpo available. Charge was 20 euros. I asked around how much it would cost me if I took a taxi, they said the same amount. I felt like I had no other choice so I agreed. I would appreciate it if they had been more honest though. When I checked out, I took a taxi from the hotel on the way to the same bus station (covering the same distance of course). It only cost me 4 euros.

There is a back door straight to the old town. Really a great location. Gem 👏🏽

i wish breakfast could have been served earlier than 8 am as my tour starts at the same time. but you can also send a request for early breakfast.

Very nice, small hotel, just by the Old Town, comfortable beds, nice breakfast. The best of this hotel is the host Sabrina, who was very kind and helpful, taking care for her guests - she helped us with a parking, explained where to eat and what to see.

The hotel is by the very noisy street with a lot of traffic and trams, however with the windows closed it was not disturbing, everything else was great.
