The location is a gemstone, near to the beach, restaurants , shops, pharmacy and clubs. I chased a shared room with other six girls ( women dormitory) and I met a life time friends. I did not have breakfast in the package cause there were a lot of cafeterias/ restaurant to eat out outside with a fair price but also there is a kitchen to use in case you want to prepare your own meal.

Everyone leaving poor reviews seems to have booked a hostel and expected 5-star hotel service. The staff were great, beds were comfortable, and the included breakfast was good! The rooms were cleaned daily, and the lunch offered at the hostel was cheap and of great quality. I spent a lot of time in the common areas, and met a lot of great people here. The location is perfect, and everything you need is in walking distance / a cheap uber away. I had a great time at this hostel, and will definitely be back again.

the staff was wonderful! amazing people who care about their guests, they spoke English which made it really easy as a tourist. the beds were comfortable and the sheets were clean, warm water in the showers and overall the floors above the ground floor were good. the atmosphere was amazing, the way the hostel is built makes it really easy to meet people in the lobby, there’s always music playing and there’s a bar in the lobby.

as a traveler who planned to cook most of my meals, it was really hard in the kitchen as their wasn’t much to work with and very limited utensils, pots, pans, and plates. also sadly there were many cockroaches in the kitchen and it felt absolutely disgusting cooking there which bummed me out especially because I liked the hostel so much.

i have to say a couple of things . i will start from the good thing, first of all the staff were amazing , very kind and helpful. specially gabrial jasmin and the girl with the glasses sorry for not remember the name. they all give you the best vibes. things about the place is very close to the copacabna center and everything is so close to hostle .

the kitchen doesn’t have a good equipment to cook and they have hours to air conditioning just in nights what makes the sleeping to difficult after coming late. beside of that everything was perfect

Location is just amazing — 2 block from the beach, near supermarket and some restaurante, as well as the subway station. The room was good. 6 beds that are comfortable and there's a locker for each in the bedroom. AC could be stronger though. Excellent breakfast. staff just amazing and supporting.

I understand it's carnival and the hostel was just packed, but some cleaningness would be better. having the shared shower locations clearned more often.

The only complaint is about the beds (mattress are extremely thin and there are no bedside sockets, which is really inconvenient)

It’s been said before but the rooftop hot tub isn’t fit for purpose. Also the lockers under the beds need some WD40. you can’t avoid waking people up if you get your stuff out. It’s an easy fix so hopefully they do. Communal mixed bathrooms may not be for everyone but I had no problem with it. Some smaller lockers in the corridors were beaten up/broken so couldn’t be used. Just updating some of this stuff will make everything top notch.

The location is amazing, very close to the beach and to the metro station. The bunk beds have enough space but the bathrooms can be a little too small. If you are solo traveler, it's a good place to stay for a couple of days.

Best hosts and great vibe. So friendly and helpful even though i lost my room card several times (and found them all at the end). Plenty of events to attend to meet other travellers (bbqs etc.) and go to parties together. Walking distance from Copacobana beach.

Best location in Copacabana, staff was very accommodating, place was clean despite being a little old, street market nearby and only a block or two away from the beach. Also very close to the departing place for the vans that take you to Cristo Redentor.

Not a big fan of the check in online before arriving at the hotel. in saying that I would still make this hostel my number one choice when staying in Copacabana.
