The location is fantastic, just a short walk from Copacabana and metrostation Cardeal Arcoverde. The room was a good size and had comfortable beds. It was very quiet at night, which was nice. The breakfast included some vegan options. I would like to compliment the male receptionist who worked late afternoons, as well as the staff member who checked the rooms in the breakfast area. They were both very attentive, always smiling, and extremely helpful.

It's good to note that housekeeping only cleans the room if you hang up the sign; if the sign is not displayed, only light cleaning will occur. Additionally, the coffee provided in the breakfast room was quite terrible, and it would have been great if they offered vegan milk for the coffee and cereal.

The Hotel suited me fine. The rooms are neat and comfortable. It is such a good location for the nearby beach and cafes and restaurants. Buses can be caught from nearby streets, and the Metro is so close: an excellent way to get around, although the Metro gets crowded during the day. All the staff are very helpful. The maids offer to clean the rooms daily. Special mention for Raphael Celestino who is so friendly and helpful and who speaks such good English. Beach towels are provided free. And the staff promptly dealt with the problem of noisy guests next door to me who played music at an outrageous volume. Good value for money and I will stay again if I visit Rio.

Only drawback is the apartments next door are very close and sometimes you may want to draw your curtains for privacy.

Great location, not far from the Copacabana beach! Plenty of good restaurants nearby. Room a bit small, but cozy and we slept well. There was 1 english-speaking receptionist (Pedro if we are not mistaken) was has been very friendly and attentive. Breakfast was fine, but the room gets a bit noisy.

We expected more english-speaking reception staff. Most were not able to speak at all, and for an international hotel brand in a touristy city one would expect more trained staff.

This is a reasonably priced and well located hotel close to Copacabana Beach with courteous and helpful staff. My room was comfortable with a mini fridge, efficient air conditioning and excellent shower. The wifi reception was good and the TV had many channels. The optional breakfast buffet seemed to be good value. I would definitely stay here again when in the Copacabana district of Rio.

Very nice stay for solo traveler in ibis Copacabana Posto 2. Professional, pleasant, helpful front desk staff. Clean, quiet, serviced room. Loved having a refrigerator and a desk and chair. Good sized bathroom and shower. Great location close to Metro station, the beach, supermarket, and restaurants.

The room was a bit cramped. Very little space between the twin beds and between the bed and the single desk/chair. No nightstands/bedside tables/shelves.

We checked in early and were allocated a room for people with disabilities, with our agreement. However, there were no towels and, after ordering over the phone, it took a long time for them to arrive. and it was also not possible to transfer to a common room. We don't understand why. Neighborhood streets are dirty and have a bad smell.

It was a great value! As a solo woman traveler, a lot of people told me Rio could be very dangerous, but this hotel was in a safe neighborhood close to the beach and lots of restaurants. I always felt safe and it was an easy Uber ride to all of the tourist attractions.

The bed had little bumps in it.

Safety is great with Ibis, they make sure security is a top priority, e.g you can only access the floor on your keycard and the stairs are only used in the event of a fire. The room was standard but nice touch with the size of the fridge. Location was perfect, just expensive during Carnaval.

The breakfast isn't the best unless you like a lot of bread.

Honestly its not even really the hotels fault really but when i had to walk down the street of the hotel alone, as a 25 year old girl i definitely quickened my pace to get inside fast as it did look very creepy at night.

Very nice location. Near to the metro station. Three blocks to the beach and also close to farmacy, stores, restaurants, bars and supermarket as well. Concerning to the breakfast, it have variety of breads, fruits. Very kind staff working,

To wait for having my breakfast. The hotel was fully booked, but let me be very clear The hotel was full at this time because of the Maddona´s show at the beach. All the other things are very good!
