Excellent location in Copacabana. Very reasonably priced. Superior double room is of decent size and has all the basic amenities one needs. Most staff very professional and friendly.

On the first night due to an error by the hotel I was given a room of lower category than I had booked (“standard” as opposed to “superior” double). This was extremely small and uncomfortable. As an apology the hotel gave me free breakfasts for the entire stay. Internet on the 11th floor was very slow and connection would often drop, in particular in the mornings. Breakfast very limited so not worth paying for but there are plenty of options in the area for every taste/budget.

The security was my first priority as I travelled with my teenager daughter and we were two females. I liked the 24 hrs reception and the 24 hours security right at the entrance of the hotel. The location was a walking distance from copacabana beach and all the restaurants. Pharmacies , grocery stores, Sunday markets all near by and accessible within 5 to 10 mins walk. The hotel is very clean. The room service is amazing. The staff is nice and accommodating. The check in and out was smooth and fast. We used uber from and to the hotel to go places and it was affordable and very easy to arrange. We visited all the attractions in Rio and we didn’t pay more than $20 a ride because the hotel is very central.

I didn’t like that there was no microwave in the room.

The property was well guarded and safe and I liked that a lot.

This is Windsor as a group Tried to move my booking to Windsor Palace just close by as it stated it’s sold out on Booking.com but when I went to Windsor palace they had rooms available as I wanted to stay near my friends. They stayed I couldn’t transfer even if I had to pay the difference but I still like Copa tho. I think there should be some level of understanding at times when a guest is desperate as my friends were staying in the other side and I’m a females and Rio isn’t the safest to walk around alone at night gf to take Ubers anytime I stayed out past 9pm

Clean smart hotel just a short walk from the sea front. The hotel restaurant is open from 12 noon until late evening and the food is quite good. This was useful for me as I didn't want to walk around in the street after dark as I was travelling alone. The breakfast was also very good

They kept pestering me to have the maid come and clean the room, which I didn't want. Even though I put the do not disturb sign on the door, they kept pushing a note under my door telling me to ring them to let them know when it would be convenient for her to clean the room. On the first day they even rang me to ask and I told them I didn't want the room cleaned but they still put the note under my door every day. Also, with one or 2 exceptions, I didn't find the staff very friendly. They were polite and rather formal, which gave the hotel an impersonal feel

The friendliness of the staff! From the reception, the cleaner, the staff in the entrance till the guys that give you the beach towels. Everyone was with a smile in the face! Pedro, Lucas and Leonardo gave us the best information for the city of Rio and helped us to explore the city in comfort and safety. The room was very clean and all the areas of the hotel were very clean as well. The location is a big plus of course since everything is so close! On 4 Sep 2024 morning while waiting to be pick up for the event, enquired one of the counter staff members, where I could look for a photo studio to print a passport size photo for the Bolivia visa application. I only knew English and I did not know or understand the any local languages. He (a young middle size male, by the name of Leonardo?.). He went an extra miles by checking through the Internet and showed a location & name of a photo studio, which was 5 lanes away from the hotel. Through his help I managed to locate and print copies of such photos for the Bolivia on site visa application.

The hotel is in an excellent location, a few steps from the beach, in a safe and clean area. The staff is friendly, helpful, discreet and ready to react promptly. The room and the facilities exactly met the conditions from the description. The continental breakfast is tasty and reasonably diversified. A big bonus for the huge and very comfortable double bed. Also, I particularly appreciated that the hotel provides beach towels.

The cleaning schedule is strangely thought out. On 2 of the days the team arrived at my room between 13-15.30, when I was resting after the beach.

I had a great stay. The staff really is the best of the best. You can tell they take the utmost care. They allowed me to work from the restaurant a few of the days I was there which was great. If you're looking for somewhere this is a great place and a great price.

The restaurant food isn't the greatest, the breakfast is fine though.

Staff are great and they speak good English at the reception. Very kind and helpful. Professional. Rooms are small but you willl find all what you need except coffee or hot water machine ( coffee making facilities) . Great location near the beach and many restaurants, supermarkets.

No coffee facilities or kettle in the room facilities. It’s never been mentioned but I expected to be there as a standard of any hotel .

This was such a wonderful stay here in Copacabana! I recommend Windsor Copa to all who are looking for a safe and excellent place to rest your head while in Rio. I have to say nice things about the following people: Lucas Almeida, Leonardo and Gleyce. From the time I arrived till the time I left, they were extremely kind, kind, compassionate, and accommodating! They helped me with everything I asked for, and I am very grateful. This is my third time staying at Windsor Copa and I will be back next time I am in Rio. Brazil is such a wonderful country to come explore! Make sure you stay here at Windsor Copa to make it the very best time.
