The pool is more of a hot tub, but the facilities are nice. Great play room for children. Food is the restaurant is nice and breakfast was good choices, although some of the options were very greasy. Very comfortable bed, room was a great size but unfortunately no night light or lamp for reading.

Staff weren’t very friendly, when we arrived they all just stared at us in the car like we were animals in a zoo. Felt very intimidating with them all sitting in the smoking area and gossiping as they watched us get out the car. The road up to the hotel is very windy. But that comes with the territory.

New & nicely designed hotel with a small but appreciated & spotless wellness spot. Rooms are nice and modern, bathroom is clean and functional. Near the 7 Rila Lakes for those who can’t face heading back to Sofia after a 4 hr hike. Also has a restaurant open all day which was a relief ! The front desk staff was very professional and friendly.

There are definitely some kinks to be worked out: the plumbing is …. noisy and the water pressure, hot/cold & electricity are patchy. There is no lift, and the food is ok-ish. The restaurant staff were clueless and disinterested but not the most important aspect of our stay.

Beautiful location, if you like being surrounded by nature. Not much but few hotels around and a tiny shop 15 min away from the place. Nice, cozy, clean rooms. Small restaurant, most things were good, except the fish we got a couple of times cold and raw inside and the bread coming last instead of first 😀 Very small pool for no more than 4 5 people, two small saunas and a salty room. It’s alright if not packed. There is also a kids room! Helped entertain our 3 year old daughter, especially on Christmas Day when they had arranged a kids entertainer! Most of the staff were friendly, some had attitude 🙃 Would visit again!!

Restaurant lacking care. Swimming pool not really for swimming but more for chilling a bit in the warm water. Electricity was stopping from time to time, but it was very quickly fixed

New, clean, nice interior design even in small details, lovely small spa (that suit the number of guest rooms). We stay in one-bed room with living room on third floor (literally 4th floor), the view was great that there are windows on three sides of the room. There’s no elevator but we love walking up the stair passing through the interior design of this hotel. Food at the restaurant was very good and they open until midnight. However the spa open until 8pm but we still have plenty of time to enjoy their spa.

They only give free bottles of water and coffee capsules on the first day but I guess that is normal in Bulgaria.

A Wonderful Stay in the Heart of Nature Our family of four (two adults and two children) had a fantastic stay at this hotel, which is truly one of the best in the area. Nestled in the forest and surrounded by breathtaking nature, the hotel is only a 15-minute walk from the lift to the Seven Rila Lakes. The rooms are cozy and impeccably clean, offering a welcoming atmosphere after a day of exploring. The service throughout our stay was exceptional – every detail was taken care of with great professionalism. The food at the restaurant was delicious, and while the breakfast was fairly basic, it was exactly what you would expect from a hotel of this type. Without a doubt, we will return to this hotel when we visit the area again. Just a few additional notes for future guests: • There are no air conditioners in the rooms. • The mattresses are quite soft (for our family). • There is no elevator. • The spa is open from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM. Overall, none of these points were an issue for us, but they are good to be aware of when planning your stay.

Fantastic hotel, great value for money. We chose to stay here for a night to make it easier for us to explore the Rila mountain range and 7 lakes hiking trails and sort of stumbled upon this hotel by accident, and we're so glad we did! Location wise, its perfect - less than 10mins drive away from the chair lift to the 7 lakes. We had a room with a balcony which was comfortable, clean and decorated to a modern standard. Breakfast was buffet style and good value for money. The hotel facilities were great, there's a spa with a pool and options for treatments. We both found the hotel to be a very relaxing retreat in the mountains.

The accommodation is great, the room has a great design and is well insulated, so you can enjoy your stay undisturbed. The location of the hotel is excellent, the location in the mountains is magical and excellent for visiting the Rila Lakes by cable car. The trip is really worth it.

We were surprised by the unprofessionalism of the staff at breakfast. When we came for breakfast in the morning and automatically looked around the buffet, they looked at us to see what we were looking for. We ourselves understood that we were supposed to sit down and get a menu, I guess...Unfortunately, the order didn't work either, they brought us sausages instead of bacon, they didn't bring butter at all, we got an orange instead of grapefruit juice, etc. But there was a buffet on Sunday, so we would only expect staff guidance only. The kitchen was good though. But that was just a small thing on an otherwise pleasant stay.

Breakfast was excellent and the evening meals in the restaurant were excellent as well. Location is perfect for the short drive to the Ski Lift to access the Rila Seven Lake Trail. Safe and easy parking. Spa facilities were clean and a great amenity. Beautiful mountain setting.

We did not use any items from the mini bar, but it was the only hotel on our month long stay that did not take our word and sent a staff person to double check at check out. Also first time I saw an extensive printed list in the hotel room outlining detailed charges for damages to about 20 potential items.

Beautiful hotel, very nice spacious rooms and super clean, nice cute spa and very close to all the hiking in the area. overall a great place to stay to visit the Rila and 7 lakes

The restaurant was really nice as a place to sit but the food could've been a bit better. also it would have been nice if they didn't charge us if we wanted some cold milk to make coffee in the rooms.

This is one of my favorite hotels in the area when I come hiking — the location and atmosphere are just perfect. The only thing I’d mention is that the bed could be more supportive. A good mattress is so important, especially after a long day on the trails. With a small improvement there, it would be an absolutely perfect stay!
