Really cozy hotel amidst the woods near the famous Rila Lakes, nearly absolutetly silence during the night, only the owls and the fyrs where making ambient noise :-) nice personell, dlthey even made some sandwiches for me, since I had to leave sadly before breakfast. I was there in mid-season and it felt absolutely relaxing :-) anytime again!

Extremely friendly and helpful staff, great location, surrounded by woods, peaceful and nice for both family and friends trips. Liked the fact that it was super easy to communicate with the hosts, and the layout of the complex was nice and convenient for the stay, as it included self-sufficient separate houses, but also a main reception house, where you could have some social gatherings. It was great that the heating was ON when we arrived, so the room was warm and cosy already. We stayed in one of the studio flats on the second floor during the winter moths. Satisfied with the SPA experience (small, but sufficient) and the included breakfast (it was a set of options which you could choose from every morning, incl. French toast, omelette, and a ham and cheese toast). The gym was installed in an outside area between the houses, and included a set of different gym bars, which made it a nice social space for people to hang out at. Probably not very suitable if it rains or snows, however.

A point for improvement would be to add a little more storage space in the studios. We found that there was not enough cupboards/wardrobes/a drying rack for the bathing suits and towels used for the SPA, where we could leave our luggage upon our arrival. However, it might be due to the fact that the houses seemed recently renovated, so this might be a future project to be developed. Another point was that the fact that it was slightly dusty on some of the surfaces (window sills, bathroom mirror, angles of the room), however, the overall cleanliness was up to an acceptable standard.

Me and my girlfriend recently had the pleasure of staying at 6ato Rila, and it exceeded our expectations in every way. The hotel is situated in a quiet area and it is surrounded by captivating pine forest. The staff was incredibly welcoming and attentive, making us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. The room was not only impeccably clean but also tastefully decorated with wood ornaments, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere.The amenities, including a cozy restaurant and a relaxing spa, added an extra layer of comfort to our stay. All the food served in the restaurant was incredibly tasty. Moreover, the location of the hotel made it convenient to explore the nearby attractions. I can't praise the exceptional service and overall experience enough – I highly recommend 6ato Rila for a delightful and memorable stay.

Everything was great

Silent environment in nature, kind staff, fresh forest and mountain air, enough place for parking, close to Rila lakes, near several springs with fresh and delicious water.

If you have imagined a neverending horizon with a dawn and sunset over the mountains, this is not what you get. The view out of the window is a forest:)

Very friendly and kind hosts! They offered us to try a homemade cake they’d like to introduce to the menu at the restaurant. Even offered us a free office before we left for our trip back home. Appreciate those little kind details!

Kapka was an excellent host. She helped us with everything and gave us helpful tips. Very friendly atmosphere, good food, great facilities. Everyone is really nice and want to make sure you have a nice stay. We came during winter and the hotel was always really warm, comfortable and clean. We highly recommend going there! ☺️

The host was extremely nice and patient and helped with everything needed. Breakfast was very nice, and the location is great, close to the main attraction in the Rila region.

Great location, clean comfortable rooms and beautiful separate cottages to stay in. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful - even though my our naughty toddler was running in their feet all the time. Food is simple but delicious.

There is more to be done around the hotel to make the area nice to stay outside.

We rented a studio cabin, and it was super cosy! Perfect location to go hiking in summer in the National park, I’d definitely stay here again. Super friendly staff and yummy local breakfast.

Our cabin was lacking proper curtains and seeing as the cabins are all built quite close to one another, it created a lack of privacy. Minor detail though, nothing else to note!
