The staff here really made our holiday. They were incredibly attentive and friendly, going out of their way to make sure our little one had dairy free options. The location is so close to the slopes, but quiet. The rooms are basic but very warm and comfortable. There was always a lovely variety of fruit, salads and vegetables at every meal and we ate well. But we came to Bulgaria expecting to try local food. My only hesitation in giving a good review

I would prefer if water was readily available at evening meals. I'd have loved it if breakfast started at 730am, for those of us not doing ski school. But given how lovely the staff were, how great the location is I can't complain.

The location was good, only a short walk to the closest slope from where you could ski to the 6 man chair lift or alternatively to the bottom of the gondalor. The centre of town was also not far away for the nightlife. They provided a cupboard in reception to store skis. The food was very pleasant, plenty of fresh salad, and a selection of hot food each evening followed by a selection of deserts. Breakfast consisted of a wide range of hot and cold food. The staff were very friendly.

The only small drawback was that the hot food wasn't very hot.

It was clean and warm. Close to the slopes. Polite and helpful receptionists.

They divided the food into half board and non-half board. The half board food was not at all worth the money we paid. For example, three dried out types of desserts that no one ate that stayed through breakfast and dinner for at least two days. For dinner, the choice of meat at one of the dinners was either a very dry grilled chicken breast steak or, maybe also chicken, thin grilled sausages. The food which was not included in the half board was varied but at additional price. It was of big choice. They served different desserts, squid, pizza, and other dishes. They took them out from the inside for people who ordered them. So my advice is that it is not a good idea to pay for this half board otherwise you might need to pay for two dinners and eat one ordering other things.

- very close to the slopes. The gondola is a five minute walk from the hotel and the ski lifts from Rila you can reach just by crossing the street. - good meals, not fabulous but plenty of diverse food both in the morning and in the evening - we stayed in an apartment (2 rooms) it was spacious enough and cosy.

- old amenities, the water at the shower was constantly either hot, or cold....we permanently took Swedish showers...😂 - the reception staff, the older lady blonde haired, she was extremely rude and with a bad temper. For example, we had our car blocked in the parking space the whole five days we stayed at Daisy, thank God we needn't go anywhere, until the day we left home. We asked politely if she could help find the driver, she responded, in English...😂, that she doesn't speak English and that it's not her problem...we finally sorted things out by ourselves. - not enough parking places. - all facilities at Flora Hotel are also for the Daisy guests, but only if you pay. - bad wi-fi and with charge, 5 leva per day, per person.

Good location for skiing, warm room, clean. The breakfast is fresh and tasty, as well as the dinner. The chef is really good, correlated with the price for food.

The staff could smile more. They should have Romanian TV channels on TV, many Romanians travel there. I booked a studio, however inside the kitchen cupboards there is no plate or fork, no saucepan, although there is a stove. It is better to have basic things if you want to prepare something.

Perfectly located for the slopes, access to the town of Borovets and separate apartments for our teenagers and their friends.

1) There's no where to sit after dinner other than rooms or the Restaraunt. The team were BRILLIANT letting us stay at the table. 2) The spa at the next door Flora hotel isn't ideal. The Flora staff were militant when our boys wanted to use the gym then the sauna - costs are on different tarrifs. In the end we didn't bother.

Location was good, room was not new (they look like in pictures), but they were clean and spacious, we got new towels every day and it was cleaned every day. Food was excellent. Most of the staff was nice. Really good accommodation for the money.

WiFi, which you need to pay extra, was horrible, didn't work at all half of the time, the rest of the time barely, complained couple of times but they didn't know what to do. Parking is a problem, really small number of parking spots on facility itself, although they say no parking in booking, but you can find it elsewhere. Some of the staff needs to know English better.

Breakfast was excellent.

Just one thing, which is the reason for the 9th score - the reception lady when we arrived wasnt very polite and half of the time was on the phone. Also we asked for baby cot and she told us that it is too late and no one can bring it in for us. The room maids have been left. We traveled to many places and it has never been too late for baby cot to be prepared.

Nice room and a lot of space. Loved the bathroom. Excellent breakfast, dinner is good as well. You can store you skis next to reception. I could also park in the premises, which was nice. 24/7 reception, mostly good location.

No wine glasses in the room. Gondola not very far away, but coming back is an uphill walk.

signs of bad maintenainamce of the rooms (patched holes in the door, holes near the heating pipes in the ceiling, missing small parts of ceiling in the restaurant, small broken floor tiles). these were nothing to bother functionally, just visual things which if fixed could improve the look of a proper quality property. I decided to write the issues because the place is great and these minor things are anoying and they can be fixed easily.
