Excellent hotel location. Good breakfast (testy salmon, olive, omelette e.t.c). Beautiful terrace overlooking the forest. When reserving a room, we indicated and called the reception that we would be staying with medium-sized dogs, but upon arrival at the hotel, seeing the dogs (pit bull and staff), they said that dogs of that size were not allowed, but after negotiations with the management we were accommodated in room - everything went well (surcharge - 20 levs, which is the norm).

1. I didn’t like the moment when booking with animals for medium or large size ( describe on the top). Because we drove for 3 hours and climbed the mountains and after that to hear that: “We cannot accommodate you with dogs” is not pleasant. 2. For 2 people in the room only 1 slipper and bathrobe were provided for the spa.

We had an amazing stay at this hotel! From the moment we arrived, the service was outstanding – the staff was incredibly friendly, attentive, and always willing to go the extra mile to make our stay perfect. The location is fantastic, close to all the main attractions and the Ski area. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with everything we needed. One of the highlights was the food – absolutely delicious! The breakfast offered a great variety of fresh and tasty options, and the dining experience overall was exceptional. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and would definitely return. Highly recommended!

Clean, warm room. Friendly personnel, very good and rich breakfast, warm pool and sauna. About 10 minutes to the slope. Modern interior, renovated rooms.

We had half-board, it’s ok to pay for alcoholic drinks separately, but you have to pay extra even for water, that’s too much. In the family room for 4, we had only 2 cups and 2 glasses, so we had to buy paper cups, one shower cap and one pack of earbuds. Tea and coffee were not replenished. It was very dark in our room, and especially dark in the kids club/room, scary darkness, half of the lamps are removed for economy. Young lady at reception chased us and stopped not to let us bring the equipment in the room. We were fine with the rule, but with three tired kids and crying baby in hands we would prefer to get the kids to the room first and solve the question with equipment later, she was so fanatically categorical as a policemen and didn’t let us go.

The restaurant didn’t have tables outside so they do not let dogs in it even though it’s a pet friendly hotel. The staff helped us a lot though and brought 2 tables outside so we don’t have to leave the dog alone in the room while we eat. Would be great if you add more for the other visitors too. Also I think there was garlic topic or some other garlic in the salads which is not stated in the menu. It would be good if you add it cause I have intolerance for it and I’m sure some other people have too

From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed and well taken care of by the entire staff. The hotel’s cozy ambiance and beautiful surroundings in Borovets made it a perfect retreat for relaxation and nature lovers. One of the highlights of our stay was the amazing massage services provided by a truly talented and caring lady. Her professionalism and attention to detail left us feeling refreshed and rejuvenated. She was not only skilled but also had a calming presence that made the experience even more relaxing. The facilities were also top-notch, from the comfortable rooms to the well-maintained spa area. The hotel staff were always friendly, attentive, and ready to assist with anything we needed. The location is excellent, close to the slopes and other attractions, which made it very convenient for us. Overall, we were truly impressed with our stay at Hotel Iglika Borovets, and the massage therapist’s exceptional service was one of the best parts of our experience. We will definitely be back and highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway!

The food was much better than at the huge hotel across the street. It was very quiet and lovely during off-season. All meals were tasty and high quality, even if we were the only guests at a particular time of the day. The board games for the kids are a knockout offer, we spent a LOT of time with them. All the spa basics are present, the sauna was very relaxing, as one expects.

The heating wasn't on in September, so be sure to request a heater. This is more an indictment of the guests - all the board games were mixed-up, with missing parts and the like. I am in awe at the patience the hotel staff exhibit about this matter. The water in the pool is relatively cool, so don't expect to spend all of your time in it.

Cozy and clean room, comfortable bed. The food for dinner and breakfast was delicious, there was a variety of different meals, pastries, salads, etc. Very satisfied with the massage service and overall liked the SPA center. Would like to also mention the cocktails at the lobby bar which are simply amazing, must be tried!

Two lightbulbs in the room were not changed and therefore were not working. We also had only one big towel in the bathroom. They would've probably fixed those things, but we didn't bother notifying, since we were only staying for one night.

The personal were super friendly, they were going above and beyond for our kid. They were always happy to help or at least try to do so. The included breakfast was really good. And the food in the restaurant was really nice and fresh. They have kid zone with tons of toys for your kid. The person arranged a cod for our kid and even left baby shampoo and body wash. That small gesture made our visit from the beginning. The place in general was really clean and organised.

The pool zone was cold, the water was below the described temperature of 28 degrees and the air in the room was really cold. Not pleasant even for adults.

Everything was clean. Room was cosy and comfortable. Staff was nice and polite. We had dinner and breakfast at the restaurant. It was great at two meals. I'm very impressed that they leave child slippers and bathrobe in our room for our daughter. I've stayed lots of hotels around the world. Mostly five stars hotels. But never experienced this level of care. It made us very happy.

The atmosphere was nice. The landscapes and views from the balcony was breathtaking. Close to the forest, and with nearby eco trail, it was perfect for a quick getaway. The rooms were clean and felt luxury and comforting at the same time. Employees are welcoming and always ready to help you out - everyone from the registration, the restaurant, the hygienists. The spa is perfect, has everything needed to get relaxed. Also, its close enough to the lift and the ski resort.

There was too much chlorine in the inside pool water, it was itchy to the eyes and mucosa of the airways. The water was warm enough but due to the high concentration of chlorine the pool was imposible to stay in. We only went there for 5minutes and then got away. The pool hall is beautifully decorated tho, and with a nice outside view.
