Great little hotel. 5 mins walking to the Sitnyakovo lift. Huge room for myself and 2 kids. Clean and tidy. Cooking facilities were adequate enough to make a couple of dinners. The restaurant is quiet and fantastic. Prices are very good compared to the rest of the town, and we loved the homecooked Sach dishes and other Bulgarian cuising. Breakfast selection is varied and filling. Staff are extremely friendly and there is complementary peppermint tea at reception and a warm lounge area with a fantastic wood burner for evenings.

Ski equipment hire was limited for choice.

- value for money - clean - warm/hot (subjective) - spacious - friendly staff and also very responsive on Booking’s chat - breakfast (usually there are: boiled eggs, omelette/fried eggs, fried sausages, fried bacon, cheese, cucumber and tomatoes, ham, salami, butter, jam, honey and you can also make your own tea, have some juice or grab a bowl of cereals + bread that you can toast) - Personally, I think that’s more than enough for a breakfast, before going on the slopes. - dinner - private sauna is also very nice (can reach really high temperatures, i.e 140 Celsius degrees) - ski storage (even though it gets locked only after 7PM, so, not that safe - not sure if there is CCTV)

- a bit far from the gondola that takes you to the slopes, at the top of the mountains, especially if you have to carry your skies and ski equipment

Fantastic little hotel!! What a discovery! Excellent accommodation.Very warm and well kept.That was our fourth visit in Borovets and first time in Villa Ibar. Great location, set in the forest just 3 minutes walk from the lift .Very spacious ,comfortable apartment ,perfect for our family .Well equipped. Lovely ,fresh breakfast .Ski rental on side was a big bonus.We didn’t have time to use a sauna:( Cousy lounge with fireplace and pool table ( very popular with my husband and son).Nice and extremely friendly staff .We hope to go back next year!!

Tucked away from the madness of downtown Borovets in the quiet of the pine forest, yet at the lifts doorstep - the perfect location! Spacious apartment with all the facilities one might need, two cute balconies for relaxing in the evening and spotless clean.

The only minus I could think of was the fact that the double bed was in fact two singles put together, but they were still very comfy.

Big parking area which was cleaned from snowfall everyday! Big enough ski room to put my board has a machine to dry boots. Very nice breakfast with different choices every day! Big room with two separate bedrooms. The guy who runs the hotel went and buy me some gauze and betadine because i had a bad injury...

Botovets has three ski lifts that they start from the village. The hotel was almost 100 m away from one of them. Almost 200 m from the second one.(night ski piste) And almost 5 minutes walk till the third one.(which we go every day) It wasn't too much but it was the only thing that wasn't good about the hotel.

We liked the quiet location, easy parking, the friendly staff and our accommodation. Breakfasts were nice - with some variety each day, and the place had some good facilities that the children enjoyed - like billiards and table tennis.

Everything was good. But to be slightly better, in the morning they could offer some decent fruit juices & better coffee at breakfast. The coffee options from the Nescafe machine weren't good. The kids liked the hot chocolate though.

The location was perfect, we were 5 minutes away from the slopes, surrounded by beautiful forest! Staff were great. The rooms were clean and warm.

Wi fi signal was sometimes weak in our room on the first floor. But it wasn’t an issue for us as we wanted to get away and stay away from our phones and gadgets. The signal was excellent in the lobby where we spent our evening.

The location was fantastically close to the chairlift! The restaurant was very well priced and served delicious food. Breakfast provided was excellent. Fairly quiet location. Very friendly staff. Extremely clean. Loved it and would recommend and also return.

The ski equipment we hired was satisfactory but a bit tired.

Very spacious accommodation for groups. Very clean. Very warm and quiet. Second stay here for group ski holiday, would struggle to find anywhere better for location and value

Breakfast staring @ 8am didn’t allow you to get on the slopes very early. Small complaint though. Obviously it’s optional!

Could have more facilities but again, it’s what you pay for and we were completely happy with that.
