Very good location in a quiet part of the village. Staff is very helpful. My room was very spacious, and bathroom a good size. There is a fridge with a small freezer. Very comfortable bed. There is a parking and daily transfer to gondola starting at 8.30am (max 8 people for a ride so book early) and pick up to come back to hotel at 4.30pm and 4.45pm. It is around 10-15 minutes walk to the centre of the village. Breakfast starts at 7.30am and there is a very good choice of different things. Dinner starts at 6pm and finishes at 9pm. It was delicious food and very attentive staff. There is storage for your skis and boots. I highly recommend this hotel for skiing or summer stay.

Sauna is not working properly. I went three times and each time it was bearly warm in there. They don't switch it on early enough and it's accessible only for few hours from 4pm until 8pm in which it is not reaching correct temperature. I was really disappointing as I was looking forward to this after each long day of skiing... There is no hairdryer in the bathroom but apparently you can borrow one at reception. There is no regulation of heating in the room and it gets really warm. I had to sleep with open window. Very much against sustainability.

Hotel Bor was a relatively short walk to the base of Borovets resort, although would recommend not carrying ski equipment as it's a bit of a hill. We were almost the only English people staying which was quite nice, was a relatively quiet family hotel. The staff didn't speak amazing English but were very friendly and helpful, the breakfast and dinner selection was very good. The communal facilities were nice and the room was cleaned to a good standard every night. They even facilitated us adding a 3rd person to one of the rooms last minute. Would strongly recommend staying here!!

The bedding used on the single beds was a little too small? We all found it coming off the bed multiple times a night.

The food was fantastic.

There was no kettle in the room.

The Breakfast and Dinner food quality was first class, lots of options and presentation and cleanliness fantastic. Third time staying here and the food has always been excellent. The room was very quiet and comfortable and heating very good too. Great facilities in the hotel re games facilities and kids room. Staff all very friendly and helpful and bar prices very reasonable. Shuttle facility to ski area very efficient and reliable.

There is nothing not to like about this Hotel, fantastic value. Hence why I have stayed there 3 times now and will always do so again when coming to Borovets.

Worth it, booking the same place next year as well. It was warm and comfy and our family truly enjoyed our stay there. Yes, you could see the old-age of the place and some renovations are necessary, but that did not negatively impact our stay at all. The breakfast and dinner had a variety of options and all were tasty; the room was warm (everywhere was warm!) and comfy enough. The staff were kind, helpful, and always there if you needed anything. It was clean, things worked as they should; there was plenty of entertainment on each floor (pool table, ping-pong table, and more). The van (shuttle) was on time and helped us reach the slopes. The gem was the scenery on the balcony/terrace: wide open space and the view to the ski slopes, and the water fountains.

Some minor renovations needed here and there, but that was offset by the other positive experience (I wrote in the upper section). Did not bother us at all.

Food excellent, large room. Cosy friendly hotel most of the staff are really nice. Ski boot room to store skis and boots, bus to and from slopes to save walking in ski boots.

Very basic shower, (but always plenty of hot water) shower tray was cracked, old shower curtain and bathroom floor got soaked and slippery every time we had a shower. Ski bus only comes 3 times 8am 9am 10am, would be better if it was more regular.

Breakfast delicious, various and dinner with everything you need. Food is nice and also the personnel is very friendly, very quick to help you, communicative and smiling. We also requested a more silent room away from the playground and the hotel took into consideration our request. Room has nice views towards the forest, warm and it was cleaned everyday. The hotel also offers a shuttle bus to the gondola. It's our second visit to this hotel and will surely come back again here in Borovets.

I would also add one more shuttle time earlier in the morning at 8:00 AM since the gondola is very crowded and has a long queue at 8.30. Other than that, everything was perfect.

Hotel is located in calm neighborhood sorounded by pines trees and its roughly 10 min walk to the center. Everything was great, but I would just need to single out breakfast and dinner...for the hotel of 3 start both was great. Plenty of different food, and arrangements of the dishes was 10/10. My recommendations.

During that period, the hotel was at full capacity, and the internet was a bit slow in the room.

The staff was very polite and the food in the restaurant was excellent. The area around the hotel was tranquil and spacious. It's a kids-friendly place.

The facilities are a bit old now. Our door needed additional push to close. Although we liked the remote location, some people may find it far from the ski slopes. If you have the ski equipment you may need to pay additional parking near the ski area.

The breakfast and the dinner were great - variety of food, fresh, tasty! Excellent. The staff is great.. Also the children facilities are great - they can play and also the children facilitator is very professional and good. The size of the room is good, but need to be updated

The bathroom needs improvements, also the furniture's in the room. The carpet need to be change.
