I think the hotel would benefit from doing some bits of work to some of the rooms however I imagine this may lead to increased prices Would have preferred if there was kettle in the room Sometimes there's noise from rooms adjacent to each other (I'm quite sensitive to noise however I think some rooms aren't very noise proof) this may not be an issue for some people.

Hotel Ok, if you want to spend a night in transit. The hotel has its own internal parking lot, but it is very small, it can only accommodate two cars, a sedan and a mini. Even if in your reservation you have confirmed parking at the hotel for a fee, it is advisable to make sure that there is an available space.

Check the information from the presentation of the reserved room on the booking and if the hotel room does not correspond to it, ask the reception to change it. Some rooms do not have a balcony and are smaller, although on the website they appear with a balcony.

Location of the hotel is top, 10min to the center and close to the airport. The hotel is in a quiet area and our appartment was quite big and confortable. We also liked the garden of the hotel where you can sit & relax or take coffee. Good value for the money.

The elevator does not stop on the 2nd floor, to be considered if you have heavy luggage.

Very good value for the money. Location is in a quiet neighbourhood, very close to metro station. Furniture is basic, but new, and the room was very well maintained and clean. Staff was very helpful.

The bed could be more comfortable and would benefit from a top mattress. The towels could be bigger.

Location - quiet area but 5 minutes walk and there is a bus stop from where you can get easily to any place in the center, airport as well. Room was clean, some toiletteries were available. There were couple of restaurants in the nearby, decent and with nicer prices than in the center. Nice and helpful staff. For two nights - perfect!

Little bit noisy due to the street just outside the room but it was not a big problem.

It's a lovely little place in an older building and you can tell some thought and work was put into making it pretty, cosy and practical. Close to public transport and a supermarket. Blue room, pretty, everything conveniently placed. There's a fridge, which is very useful on summer days. The bathroom door has a full-height mirror and there's enough space for cosmetics on the sides of the sink. Clean bathroom. The street smells very nice from the trees, particularly at night. I also got a free concert from the swallows nesting nearby. Lovely staff too. Very happy I picked this place.

It was a one-night stay, as I needed it do the flight next morning. So, the relative proximity to the airport was key. Further, I like the neighbourhood, as it has its hidden gems :)

there was a lamp not working properly in the corridor, but such things happen.

I took the cheapest room. Nothing fancy but all the basics were present - TV, kettle, night lamp, towels. The blankets were in the wardrobe. On the bed there were only linens. It was quite warm but I still needed blanket. The room was very clean and had its own bathroom. The bed was comfortable enough and I was able to have a good rest. Another good side is that the hotel is several hundred meters away from the very busy bus stop of hotel Pliska which can be used to travel around Sofia.

Breakfast is poor, meaning the same things 3days in a row. no other options, only cold stuffs, like marmalade, ham, butter, yogurt and fruit. caffe available only in 2 options, no decaf available

Hotel Kibella is an excellent value. It is a great place to stay coming or going from the airport, and close to buses into the center. The Sofia metro is also an easy 10-15 minute walk from the hotel. My room was comfortable and very quiet. It wasn’t the first time I stayed at this hotel, and it certainly will not be the last!
