The privacy and that everything I needed was available.

Breakfast is ordered the day before and wasn't exactly what I'd usually like.

Room was very clean, tastefully decorated. Quaint boutique accomodation. Walkable to train [5 minutes]. Breakfast was delivered to the room and was on time and yum.

Location. Mislead by distance from center. When asked I was told, well that is the perimeter of what is considered 'centered' and that member of staff responded snidely. When asked how to get to to a specific location, I was told to walk, when I said it took me 35 minutes to arrive from earlier, I was told take a taxi when in fact the train stop was a 5-6 minute walk and brought me down to the cathedral area in minutes. That was the only staff member I didn't care for.

We absolutely loved Oborishte 63. A tricky name to say but fantastic hotel nonetheless. We had a wonderful stay. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. Rooms are unique and exceptionally designed with a creative flare. It is obvious the designers took enormous care to create a special experience down to every detail. Each room is based off a different Bulgarian artist which makes it even more special. The location is perfect, close to all the attractions one might want to see in Sofia. Located on a quiet, leafy beautiful street in a charming neighborhood.

It is difficult to say anything negative about this property. One warning in general about Bulgarian design: there are lots of little steps inside hotel rooms. Specifically: hotels feature a small door threshold at each bathroom that is a major tripping hazard. You have to be constantly aware of any hotel room because these tripping hazard seem to be normal design for all hotels. Not just Oborishte. My 84-year-old mom unfortunately tripped the first night we were staying here and fell pretty hard on the marble floor of the bathroom.

Brilliant location with many little cafes and restaurants on the street and though we didn’t try it, an outdoor fine dining restaurant in the backyard of the hotel. Excellent breakfasts brought to our room each morning and whether it was eggs, or omelettes, or warm porridge with tons of fresh fruit, was very good. The rooms are huge with a balcony and they have thought of every little detail - from wine opener for the stocked fridge, to shoe shine tools. I could live in that room to be honest!

Nothing to dislike

The design suite is very spacious and well decorated. Shower is large and has great water pressure, although some water leaks to the bathroom. Located in a green area and peaceful neighbourhood.

There is no space for breakfast and you have to tell the exact hour that you would like to be served. By the time that you get your coffee, you only have a few minutes before it is cold. it would be better to have more varied options for breakfast. You can choose only one option (omelette or yogurt, for ex). Maybe a little mix would be more pleasant.

The location of the hotel is perfect. 5 minutes walk from the Nevski square. The room was spacious, clean and quiet. The neighbourhood also quite nice with lots of bars and restaurants.

The breakfast was tasty but poor. Also quite inconveniently served in a room where there was no proper table to put the breakfast tray. Also it is stated in Booking that there is parking available. I contacted the hotel prior to our arrival and asked about the parking and they said that parking is on the street in the blue zone and that the reception will help me further. Upon arrival we were told that indeed the reception could take care of the parking but it would cost 10 euro per day. You basically need to send an sms every two hours to update your payment from 8 am to 8 pm. But you need a Bulgarian tel nr for this. Would have been more honest to give this info beforehand rather than raise expectations of free parking.

Without a doubt, it is one of the most beautiful hotels I’ve stayed at. It is not like a typical chain hotel; it’s truly a unique small hotel with an exclusive design. Each room of the hotel is inspired by a remarkable Bulgarian artist. I stayed in the Thread room, and it looked gorgeous. Even better then on photos. The location is also perfect if you would like to take a walk and enjoy a couple of cocktails nearby. The staff is friendly and supportive.

The only thing that could be improved is the breakfast. The selection is limited, and the portions are small, but this is offset by the option to have it served right in your room.

Parking, but that issue is general in Sofia's central area. Remember this: if you do not have a Bulgarian mobile phone service supplier (to send SMS for parking fee), there is still the solution to buy parking tickets from metro stations. Read carefully parking instructions in Sofia, or your car will be blocked. Fortunately, we did not experience that.

Cute little boutique hotel! We stayed in Dahlia room and we loved it! Great design, very comfortable and clean. Room is equipped with everything you need and we just loved the large bathroom! Since it was New Year's eve, we got a complimentary bottle of Prosecco. We also loved the breakfast, you choose it from the menu, but it's bistro/brunch cafe quality and very tasty. We will definitely come back.

Parking is on the street, so you depend on the availability in the area. There were holidays during our stay, so parking was free, but not sure how to pay on regular days if you do not have a Bulgarian telephone number to send an SMS for parking payment.

Oborshite 63 is one of our favorite stays in all of Bulgaria. A beautifully designed boutique hotel filled with creative touches and a wonderful combination of comfort and artistry. Located on a lovely tree-lined street near the main sites of Sofia - with abundant cafés and restaurants nearby. The staff is superb; Exceptionally friendly and helpful - they made us feel at home despite being on the other side of the world from ours. A+ all around.
