The room was beautiful, large, quiet and with a balcony with the most wonderful extended sea view. A bottle of still water every day in the fridge. Plenty of food in both restaurants, with variations every day, with options for the most demanding person. The sun loungers and umbrella on the beach along with drinks at the bar were welcome during the hot weather. The spa free facilities and extra towels, great option too.

The bed creaked and the mattress had a hole in it. The linen was not changed during the 5 nights. The hairdryer was very old-fashioned, outdated, not enough for someone with long & thick hair.

Overall very pleasant stay: The staff was very friendly, the room was very clean. The food was great with a good a variety of choices each day. The pool was pleasant with animations. There were bars at different places (pool, beach, by reception etc...)

Minor inconvenients: Unfortunately there was not enough sunbeds by the pool and some days we had to go and reserve them early. Also the floor and tables by the pool should be cleaned regalularly (Drinks spilled, etc...) The spa should include pedicure, manicure. The beach bar should be open later than 5pm.

We spent 5 days at Astera Hotel & Spa and overall had a great time. The rooms were impressively spacious, with bathrooms featuring both a shower cabin and a large bathtub—definitely a plus. We enjoyed lovely sea views and appreciated the food variety offered at the two on-site restaurants. The underground parking (20 leva/day) was convenient, especially during the busy season. The pool area was clean and not overcrowded, which we liked.

The private beach, however, is not directly across from the hotel—expect a 10+ minute walk. Unfortunately, the beach bar was disappointing, with just a basic coffee and juice machine sitting in the sun. One downside was the ground floor public toilets, which were consistently dirty throughout our stay.

Large rooms. Comfy beds. Free sauna. Interior and exterior pool. Average fitness gym.

The location is on the first line of hotels, but it is not on the beach. The private sunbeds on the beach where at aprox 100 m away and the is was not private. Other people can rent these "private" sunbeds. The sea view was in fact lateral sea view. The beach bar had only draft beer (weak alcoolised), draft juices and coffee.

The room was excelent, very big. The best panoramic view of the sea from the room. The hotel itself is very good, cleaning was done properly. The swimming pool is also clean. The beach is very close, although not quite in front of the hotel (a little bit to the right). There are free sunbeds and umbrella and there was no pb in finding them in the first line.

Relatively small issues or inconvenients. For instance food and drink. The quality is not the best, especially for the drinks and cakes. Breakfast and icecream are good. The girls from the animation team are weak, bored and unprofessional. For Savina, everything seemed a torture, never gave a smile or made a pozitive remark. Take care of the towels the hotel gives you! On the last day, we left them on the sunbeds near the swimming pool, we went to see the sunrise on the beach and when we came back, they were no longer there. Although the receptionist told us it was the boy cleaning the swimming pool who took them, at the check out another receptionist asked for 20 LV for each towel. Probably, it s their way of making some "tips".

the location directly on the sea. they also have a private beach with a dispenser with juice, beer and coffee that are free for the hotel's customers. private underground parking. the staff was 9/10. the reception was ok, I can't say the same about the bartenders from Lobby..

for an all inclusive hotel, the food was disappointing. for families with children it is very difficult to find something for the little ones. wide variety of vegetables and pork. unfortunately, the chicken only existed at one meal in 3 days. I don't recommend the desserts. it would be preferable to replace everything with fruits. the few types of cakes (3/4) absolutely all tasteless. the lobby said that it closes at 00. we arrived on a Friday evening from the city at 11:45 p.m. and we were refused for 6 glasses of vodka/orange. best if you can't offer "all inclusive" services, stop promoting them.

I must give a big thumbs up for the overall cleanliness, amenities and friendly staff. The inside pool and spa were great additions. I enjoyed spending time in the sauna and the nice refreshing swim afterwards. The food was good, and it came in a great variety. It was almost impossible to not find something to your liking. I really appreciated the fact that the staff was very careful, and kept cleaning the tables. The hotel room was very cozy, the beds comfortable, the bathroom HUGE and the air conditioning PERFECT! It was my best experience so far! Overall I'm very pleased and I strongly recommend this location. I will definitely come back.

I can't say I disliked something in particular. If I were to really dig deep, I would say that some of the staff didn't speak any English and it was hard to communicate, but it wasn't really of a deal breaker. The "sign language" aka... "Point your finger to guide" was efficient.

I stayed at Hotel Astera in Golden Sands, and my experience was incredibly pleasant! The hotel is located in a fantastic spot – just a few steps from the beach, making it an ideal destination for a seaside vacation. The rooms are spacious, modern, and impeccably clean, with balconies offering breathtaking sea views. The staff was always polite and eager to assist with any requests. I was particularly impressed by the variety and quality of the food. The restaurant offers a rich selection of both international dishes and traditional Bulgarian specialties. Every day was different, and everything was freshly prepared and delicious. The hotel also boasts numerous amenities, including a spa, which is a real treat after a day at the beach, as well as a pool with a bar that adds an extra touch of luxury and relaxation. The evening entertainment was fun and suitable for all ages. Overall, Hotel Astera is an excellent choice for anyone seeking comfort, relaxation, and top-notch service. I would definitely return and highly recommend it to anyone planning a vacation in Golden Sands!

Location, size of the rooms, very good food, staff were very friendly. Very good value for money. The rooms with sea view were very nice.

The following points would be nice to have: - I would expect the rooms in a 4 stars hotel to be vacuumed every day. For 2 nights it was not an issue . - the selection of beverages ( wine, beer) could be of a better quality. - bathroom lighting could be better

The room was nice and clean and the view from the balcony is amazing. The food is very good but it could be better.

The staff looks like a robots you rarely see a smile, except the animation team they did their job but they avoided me in somehow (they always asked all the guests if they want participate except me) maybe because I'm not european or from the Balkan.
