The property‘a location was great, 2 min walk to the beach, BUT ABOUT 5-7 min to the HOTEL SOFIA’s beach.

Time for meals were short for the amount of people accommodated in the hotel. When it rained, we almost weren’t able to finish our meal in time because of the long row waiting ahead of us. Breakfast time 8:00-10:00, lunch 12:20-14:00, snack bar 15:30-17:00, dinner 18:00-20:00. I have to admit, we thought there will be snack bar after the dinner also.. The all inclusive bar had 5 drinks, beer and local alcohol. In the beach bar, only nonalcoholic drinks and beer was free, alcohol was with 20% discount for the hotel guests.

Great location, far from the noisy strip. Beautiful sea view from the room. Room is spacious and pretty. Various food options. Friendly and helpful staff. Private beach with a beach bar, plenty of available sun beds and umbrellas is a big advantage. Overall experience is very relaxing and pleasant.

Very poor quality drinks. Elevators need proper maintenance: doors don’t have sensors, so can get closed unexpectedly while you’re entering, also when you press third floor, it takes you to the second floor. Bed sheets are terrible, too short for mattresses, constantly untacking. Air conditioners don’t work properly. No Wi Fi in the rooms, just in the lobby. Private beach is 9 minutes from the hotel (wasn’t problem for us, but just to be aware).

Everything was just great, location, sea view, room, food, drinks, beach. We celebrate in Sofia hotel my father’s birthday and we were surprised with a bottle of shampagne in the room. Everyone had the smile on their faces at the reception, at the restaurant, at the beach. We had a beautiful room at the 6-th floor with a verry beautiful sea view, we could see even the waves. The sunrise seen from the balcony was spectaculary. The food was was excelent, in the morning there were 6 tipes of cheese, yellow cheese, a lot of tipes of salami, many tipes of sweets, fruits, even a presa for making natural juise from grephfruits or oranges. Every day we had a different tipe of food, verry tasty and every night we had bulgarian, mediteranean or italian night. This hotel is way higher than a lot af hotel where i’ve been.

The hotel is really nice, the room was really big and very clean. The food was really diverse and could accommodate all types of needs and preferences. There were lots of activities at the pool for kids and grown-ups, too ( a local game, darts, aqua fitness, pool game) . The mini-disco for kids after dinner was really appreciated by all the children. All the personnel was really nice and always smiled

The hotel has a bit of everything. Beach bar with soft drinks and sunbeds included. I really appreciated the guy handling the sunbeds whi took care not to reserve sunbeds in advance by anyone who would just place their towels and then leave to come back later. Other tourists where not allowed in between the sunbeds or on them. They where there only for Sofia guests and the cool part is that you could find a place to sit even in the morning or in the afternoon as if you went to have lunch you would take everything with you so that other guest would benefit for a better spot. The pool was really clean and the guys at the bar really helpful and kind. A lot of diverse food and even jars of baby food in the morning.

Even though everything seemed to raise up to all expectations, the hotel is quite old and needs some renovation. The food was diverse and good for people of all ages (maybe this is the reason of being unsalty - if you want more salt, just add as per your preference). One thing that was quite annoying was being scared to leave the table as the staff kept cleaning it before before you finish your food or drink :)) I would recommend placing a fan in the elevators or keep the doors open when not in use. By the time you use it one way you feel the need to take a drink from the bar. It's really hot inside and they move really slow.

The food was good for all meals. The drinks were local drinks and of poor quality. The room was big and clean, but the AC didn`t work properly and there was a really bad smell coming from the bathroom.

Cleaning was limited only to changing towels ( on the balcony it was never cleaned the whole stay ) and if the shower gel runs out you have to buy it because they doesn t replace it . After all , they claimed that we had consumed 2 beers even we not touched the minibar . So , be careful !!!

The food was ok-ish, you could always find something to eat. The cappuccino was actually decent. Big, clean pool. You could always find chairs. The beach was close, clean, with enough chairs and its own beach-bar. We easily found a parking spot at the hotel, 22 leva/day..a bit expensive, but it is what it is.. Overall, i recommend. Very, very good value for money.

Paid parking for the car. It should have been inclusive with this money and this type of hotel
