My friend and I stayed at this inn nearly 2 years ago, so were pleased to stay again. Staff are very friendly, helpful and accommodating. The inn is located in a beautiful spot above the trails beside the river and is easy to access. This accommodation provides a simple but satisfying place to rest your head for a night or two (or more?). The beds are clean & comfortable, the amenities are all that are needed, and it is clear that they are trying to update and renovate over time. The table and chairs in the room provided an easy place to socialize in the evening and to enjoy a quick bite in the morning before departing. Special thanks to the staff for extending our check-out time on this occasion so that we could do just that (and for the great coffee provided :).

Nothing noteworthy.

The room was tidy and welcoming after a very long drive through the mountains. The beds provided comfortable support to unwind. It is well away from the traffic noise which can break through your respite. Food stops very close by, including the need to feed your vehicles.

It would have been nice to have included 2 chairs for sitting at the coffee table. On the flip side, I was able to drink my morning coffee lounging in bed!

Price and cleanliness. We were passing through and booked here rather than Canmore due to price and reviews. Plain but had the necessary comforts for us: wifi, TV, microwave, fridge. As noted it was very clean, quiet in our section, and the beds were comfortable. Also noticed they had EV chargers although we were driving gas. The staff were helpful.

We liked it and will continue using it as a budget alternative when we travel on the transcanada

The room was spacious and spotless. The single level and adjacent parking made unloading/loading the vehicle extremely convenient. The room was very quiet but amenities such as restaurants were within walking distance.

Some parts of the room were outdated and could have used a fresh coat of paint, but the washroom fixtures were updated and the bed was very comfortable.

Older motel was hesitant as I always stay in nice rooms. As a rule I avoid motels. Was the long weekend and I had limited choices. Gave this place a shot and I don't regret it. Much cleaner than most rooms I've been in in Alberta. Japanese cleanliness standards. Professional and courteous manager during my stay. Even though I was only there 2 nights. They put fresh towels and empty the garbage bins and make the beds everyday. Service I have to request in rooms 2 and 3 times more. Although the building and furniture are dated . This was a very clean and hassle free stay. Just because of the cleanliness I don't intend to stay in canmore or banff ever again. These rooms are 100% cleaner.

No complaints. Although clean and tidy it is a motel. Don't expect concierge service or an onsite gym or pool, etc. There is a maintained public park with a stocked trout pond behind the complex.

We LOVED the modern, full-sized toilet!! One can't say enough about that. The unit was spacious and clean. Great-sized tv, adequate coffee maker, microwave and fridge (no separate freezer). Nice rug outside and inside plus mud tray inside. Small table with two chairs plus some desk space with another chair.

The entrance door does not close evenly in frame, leaving a 3/8" gap toward bottom. The only other item - our unit had been vacant (?) for a while, outside was -15 C and the staff only turned on the little AC/heater an hour or so before we got there at 5 pm. The room was cool and the floor was Cold. LOL. Definitely had to wear shoes that evening. The heating/cooling unit was small for the space, so watch out for extremely cold or warm days if you are temperature-sensitive. We definitely would stay again. Staff was Great.

We enjoyed the size of the room. We could really enjoy the space. we liked that there was a couch, a small table and chairs, a fridge. microwave ,etc. We love to stay here, eat what we like and come and go on our own timeline.

We don't like the fact that Alberta is on a different time than Saskatchewan in the winter. Obviously, this is not the fault of the Inn, but it does affect our travel to Alberta more than you would think!

For a 2-star motel, Bow River Inn in Cochrane is amazing. The friendly staff bent over backwards to provide for our every need. For example, any extra dishes, coffee pods, soap and shampoo. They kept our room tidy and spotless. The beds were extremely comfortable. Our room was plenty large enough for our family of 5. We would stay here again.

It is an older building and we were there during Canada Day celebrations which were being held just across the parking lot. That made accessing our room a little difficult at times. Beds were very comfortable and linens were quite nice

Really there was nothing not to like. Being an elderly traveler I would really appreciate a more comfortable chair in a hotel room. I tend to have to sleep sitting up at times.

Very clean, no smell, was great location. The only thing I would like to see would be secure lock (additional) on the inside (bar or chain) that housekeeping could not open from outside. That would make me feel more secure. As a female traveling solo, I like all the security I can get.

I stayed in 121. There was quite a large space between the door and frame that cold air rushed through. It also didn't feel 100% secure because of that.
