Employees were super polite, fun, available and professional.

Vehicles reversed into the parking stalls and their exhausts goes straight in our window and/or AC/Heater unit so I woke up at 5am cuz my room was filled with gas while a guy was warming up his truck. Had to exit my room for hour and sat in the lobby with my dog in PJ til it was possible to get back in... no fun I have highly suggested to add some Do Not Back Up Sign on their outdoor wall, will see how seriously they will take this information. It is actually an easy fix.

It is a pretty basic hotel in Cochrane, conveniently located near Hwy 22 as a gateway to Bragg Creek, Kananaskis and the mountains. What impressed us the most is that the front desk staff kindly accommodated our request to switch us from a King room on the second floor to a 2 Queen room on the ground floor. The 2 Queen room was (a) cheaper; (b) almost 2 times larger, and (c) did not require a member of our party who had very bad knees to climb the steep stairs (the hotel has no elevator). Thank you very much!

We did not try the breakfast. Everything else was nice.

The hotel is an older, better established place. The lobby has a tiled floor and comfortable sitting area. It is well apportioned with tourist information for those traveling. There is a laundry room with excellent counter space for sorting & folding your clothes. The hotel staff are exceptionally nice & informative. There are places to eat nearby and the hotel offers a nutritious free breakfast.

Cochrane is undergoing a significant restructuring of its highways & rail. It is beyond the control of the hotel but if you are patient you can get to it with ease. It’s tucked away from the construction activity so you won’t hear the noise of heavy machinery.

nice location , lots of nice little extras like lemon water & cookies in the lobby & chips & bottled water in the room . clean & Welcoming environment . Continental breakfast was great , lots to choose from especially if your on the go , selection had something for everyone & staff kept it full even when busy . Dog friendly & the fee was not obsessive … Thank you so much

there wasn’t a elevator… no big deal for us but may be for some : hot tub broke down so we couldn’t check it out but we will be back to try it out a different time

I’ve been to this hotel 3 times, the rooms are always clean, it’s a great location, mountains just out back. The breakfast is always amazing, and as my partner calls it the pancake printer is flawless. in early 2021 I lived her for a month, the staff had always been super friendly, super kind and very protective of privacy. My partner and I booked a jacuzzi suite in November and again, same staff but always do polite, and amazing. they did a lot for my in 2021 and my partner had been grateful for that so we decided to give them a Christmas gift, and when we came back this time around they had been the same, incredible and just the staff alone makes me want to come back there.

I love the location of this hotel. There are lots of restaurants and walking trails close by. We have stayed here a few times for dance competitions that have been within 10 minutes of Cochrane. It is a lot easier to get to and much quieter than staying in Calgary.

I don't like that there isn't an elevator. There are only stairs to go up or down to your room.

Staff accommodating my request for a laundry, since the laundry facilities were out of working order. Check-in staff was very friendly and able to help me with my request for dinner as well. Room was quiet, beds were good. Breakfast was better than expected for a Super 8. Parking is close to the front door.

Location is a bit hidden, but not hard to find. No elevators, but I was able to negotiate the stairs, I would just be aware this property doesn't have an elevator.

Everything was great 😊 lots of options for breakfast , the beds are comfortable, hot tub was great & staff friendly .

Hot tub could be open later & poop bags & treats in the room would be a great touch for dogs :)

I like the location of this hotel. It was close to the places I needed to go. It was nice not to have to stay in Calgary. It was a large room. Close to several restaurants.

I didn't like that there was not an elevator. I had several large pieces of luggage and hauling them upstairs was not fun. There was also a lot of white dog hair on the carpet in our room. Not a huge deal as I have pets at home. I was just surprised by the amount of dog hair. Hopefully, the next people that stayed in the room had a clean room.

Easy check-in/check-out process, beds comfortable, spacious room.

It felt damp in the room. The hotel did not have a pool, only a hot tub and a steam room, steam room turned off at 9pm despite the promised opening hours until 10pm. The breakfast was very sweet, more diversity and including something salty would have been nice.
