We were three people and booked a room with two double beds. There was also a private bathroom. I was impressed by cleanliness in both room and bathroom, with perfectly white sheets and coverlets, the bathroom seemed newly renovated. Hot breakfast was included with fruits, yoghurt, cereals, muffins, butter, jams, eggs and sausages, and of course coffee, tea and milk. Another nice thing - coffee, tea and water with orange slices in it was free and available day and night. Staff was friendly and helpful. A laundry room was also available if needed. Altogether, there was a pleasant two nights stay and we will use it again.

No comments here. All good. I only have an observation, but this is just me: the mattresses are very soft and the edges not very supportive and so you may fall over if you are too close to the edge and attempt to leave the bed. Some people may prefer this type of soft mattress so it is just a matter of preference.

The hotel team were very nice. I had written to advise them we were coming to town for our 23rd Couples Anniversary and they very kindly had a nice welcoming surprise for us in the room - fruits and chocolate. They also upgraded our accommodations. It was a kind gesture that made us very happy, thank-you! I also liked there was a living room area on the main floor that you could use and the continental buffet staff was very nice. The restaurant was also nice and clean.

I would say the only thing that I would suggest to make the place even better is to replace the carpeting in the rooms. Ours had a more lived in look of which i'm not a fan of. The bathroom is small but was very clean, that I am a fan of !

Our stay was as good if not better than we expected, as usual. We didn't ask for a quiet room as we figured from past experiences that we shouldn't have to worry about asking for that, but maybe someone else did that for us, though not sure. The breakfast was satisfactory, though the service was especially good. The sitting room off the lobby was serenely "other-worldly" and very calming, somewhat in contrast to what Sudbury more basically is or offers, so, the place, including lodge has an "oasis like" feel to it, which was better than what we were looking and hoping for. Kudos!

I can't think of anything I didn't like about the place except that there was no place to eat, but for the buffet breakfast within walking distance.

Overall we had a very nice 2-night stay. The hotel is easy to find - especially coming into the city from the south and was conveniently located. The front-desk staff greeted us warmly and had us quickly checked in with only one minor hiccup. The ambience in the lobby was warm and inviting. The room was clean, comfortable, and fairly quiet given its close proximity to the hospital. The breakfast area was cozy and inviting and we were warmly greeted each morning. Although there wasn't a large selection of hot food it was more than adequate for our needs.

The only recommendation I would give is that the carpeting in the hallways need a good cleaning/shampooing. It wasn't that they looked dirty, although there were a few obvious stains here and there, it was the slightly musty odour they gave off. I do realize that keeping any flooring clean at this time of year is difficult but for me it took a little away from an overall pleasant stay.

Close to the hospital, our main reason for choosing this hotel, making visiting easy. The staff are welcoming, helpful and cheerful. We liked the fact that a hot breakfast was included and other food options were available to purchase. A guest kitchenette, coffee available in the lobby and fridge in the room were very useful. Beds were comfy, room very well equipped and clean. Definitely recommended if you are able to take the short walk to the hospital, and leave your vehicle parked at the hotel.

Depending on the room location, you might hear the very noisy helicopter as it arrives/departs from the hospital helipad. The heating system is also rather noisy.

Located across the street from Science North and down the street from a Perkins restaurant for a full serve breakfast. The room had everything we could want, including very comfortable beds and pillows. The TV had a good variety of channels. The room was quiet and had a good assortment of complimentary soaps, gels, and shampoo. The extra counter, mirror, and outlets outside the bathroom were very handy. The hotel breakfast had scrambled eggs, toast, muffins, sausage, bacon, yogurt, apples, and oranges. It wasn't fantastic, but it was all right. The room was quiet, and the blackout curtains worked well. The hotel is beside the hospital. It would be perfect for families or patients. We heard no sirens or the helicopter, so it did NOT add noise to our room.

The breakfast has no juice or milk and weak coffee. The tub is quite slippery. It's literally the first time in my life I found one slippery. I actually looked for a rubber bath mat. My husband thanked me for warning him because he also found it slippery. We had no complaints otherwise.

We have stayed at this property many times over the past 10 years. It is always very comfortable . The rooms are clean and well equipped with coffee and tea station as well as a mini refrigerator. The location is convenient and close to the downtown area and the New Sudbury shopping mall. . .

We have always requested a room on the ground floor and have been accommodated. On this last visit our room was located on the second floor even though we had requested ground floor at the time of booking. When asked why, the response was that they were fully booked.

The hotel is comfortable, clean and has breakfast included. The staff were above and beyond friendly. I forgot a corkscrew and expected the front desk staff to bark at me and say they didn't have one like the previous hotel I stayed at in Sudbury (which was also dirty) but they did and were lovely :).

It is located close to the hospital which you can hear ambulance sirens. In addition, across the street is a large field in which there are games, etc. Not a deal breaking but just not in a quiet spot - more of a convenient busy spot.

The continental breakfast was excellent, there were lots of options, both hot and cold and staff was making sure food and drinks were always being refreshed. The location was also excellent as we were staying there to visit science north the next day and it turned out to be across the street.

It could use some plugs in the room that accept USB/usb-c cables for charging devices instead of needing adapters for wall plugs.

Location was great for visiting Science North. Breakfast was better than average for complimentary even if some bites of my scrambled eggs were scorched;) Coffee also better than average. It was great having a microwave in the lobby and mini fridge in our room. Tidy place and our room was pretty clean. Very friendly and helpful staff.

It was a bit pricey for the facilities but not unreasonable. My wife did find some dust near the climate control ;)
