Ontario's Best Hotel Resort with the most professional employees. General Manager Ellen was as cheerful and compassionate as ever. Paul is an amazing Operations Manager and a wonderful friend. Brian had Sunday and Monday off after Casino Rama Resort cancelled the Friday performance so extra staff were sent home. The " Walk off the Earth ," Concert went ahead on Saturday so the Hotel was packed. Will be back in July and August, very grateful for your over the top Friendly smiling staff.

The Pool was awesome, with warm and crystal clear water. Very quiet stay overall. Close location to the New Match restaurant at Rama Resort separate to the Casino so under 19 year old children can have a great meal with Mom and Dad. The Noodle restaurant is inside the Casino and excellent Pad Thai. Special thanks to the Corporate Chef John Cordeau.

We spent 3 nights in a large 600+ SF king suite on the 3rd floor, which felt like being in a small 1-bedroom apartment minus a kitchen. Decor may be getting a bit dated but it's in great condition. Bedroom TV was soso but the brand new 60" TV in the living area was a treat. Super quiet room, comfy bed, modern bathroom, well-supplied continental breakfast. Fireplace in the bedroom but it was July.

It's a bit off the grid from downtown Orillia, but OTOH it's right across the street from Casino Rama if that's your thing.

After 9 visits to Days Inn Rama Resort this year, it has won the Best most consistent Hospitality Hotel in Ontario. Patrick at the front, desk checked us back into #332 overlooking the rising Sun. Paul and Robert maintain the entire facility in top shape. The large pool had warm crystal clear water. Excellent cohesive Team from every department. Such a warm welcoming Resort that rejuvenates all Guests.

Double Queen bedroom with 8 soft pillows. All new rugs throughout. New bath and shower unit. Three Dog Night cancelled their Saturday show so there was one room available from Saturday Evening. Yardhouse now opens at 11:30 AM till at least 11 PM. Also a new restaurant, a Noodle Bar which had a line up. Chow Lucky Noodle Bar. It is open 12:30 PM Wed , Thurs, Sunday till 8 PM and Fri, Sat 2 PM till 9:30 PM.

Despite the ups and downs I've had at this place over the years, it generally meets my needs. Dated yes, but the price is solid considering what the market can be like today...Lots of parking, accommodating staff, efficient check-in/out process, generally ( I'd minor issues in the past ) very clean and comfortable rooms - includes mini fridge and microwave, close to casino if that's one's thing, and the Orillia area too, ( though bland and unchanged ) an included breakfast of sorts, and a 24 hour coffee/juice/tea station, make for a reliable stay. Furthermore, the pool is finally open ; didn't think that'd ever come about, so well done.

Nothing to scoff at this time around...It met my needs well for the price I paid. Im here a lot as staff is aware, and i'd return once more based on this trip. Don't cut corners and I'll keep coming back...

We were allowed an early check-in. The room was spacious and clean, it had a fridge, microwave, enough hangers and even an iron. The shower had big bottles of great shampoo, conditioner and body wash, and even an anti-slip rubber rug for those who need it. The breakfast was decent, the area was cleaned fast. The pool was great, with towels and washrooms to change, and it was open late. The fitness room had clean towels and a water cooler.

The pool walls (in the water) could have been more smooth. Both of us scratched our feet and knees on those walls.

Such a Wonderful Warm welcome from the ever effervescent Smiling Ellen and Paul at the Front Desk for another monthly multi day stay. Paul said " Welcome Home " as it really truly is my Home away from Home. The Swimming pool is always warm and pristine throughout.

Very grateful that the room temperature was perfect with the unit turned off. Spotlessly clean throughout. So nice having a large Shampoo, Conditioner and Bathing soap dispenser to avoid small toiletries.

Arrived late after 8 PM on Friday Evening and was given a room on the Third floor overlooking the Parking Lot. Great view, quiet evening, time for a swim, then off to Yard House across the road for Dinner. Another great breakfast, then 2 hour Swim. Met the Executive Chef of Rama Resort. Continued Business Conferences then back to the Fitness Center.

Went Swimming and Tubing on Lake Couchiching then Lunch at Bayside Restaurant where a massive accident with multiple vehicles were involved on Atherly road by Tudhope Park where Gordon Lightfoot Statue is. Will be back in September 22,23.

Extremely quiet! Comfortable bed. Clean room. Friendly staff. Good parking. Appreciated the fridge and microwave. Lobby and breakfast area very clean. Nice to have free breakfast. Often saw staff wiping tables and floors etc. Good WiFi.

A bit more fresh breakfast food would be appreciated; even some bananas or something would be nice. Also could you use real glasses and cups in the rooms? And at breakfast, real plates? so much waste. Also, could have used a couple more towels in the room. Price was high, but in line with other local hotels given that it was a busy summer weekend. Unfortunately the pool was out of service, but that was clearly stated before we booked so we were aware.

After a raft ride on Lake Couchiching, checking into Days Inn with Patrick was fast and efficient. Had breakfast at Bayside Restaurant by Gordon Lightfoot Statue earlier then went to the Yard house Restaurant for Dinner. Days Inn is close to all amenities with a Tim Hortons a few steps away. Manager Ellen is the Best Ever Leader I have ever seen. Brian is the most amazing Night Auditor Lead and with Scott Campbell on the Team this Resort is a Goldmine. Excellent cohesive Team from every department.

The pool is the main feature and General Operations Manager Robert is an incredible Proficient Professional. Very humbled and grateful for the most awesome Team of all time.

Days Inn Rama Resort is the quiet tranquil setting that everyone dreams about. General Manager Ellen, Brian lead auditor, Patrick and Scott provide a very warm welcome back each Month. Close proximity to many lakes and picnic areas. The third floor is quiet and brand new carpets, professional paint throughout, and an awesome Fiberglass shower and tub unit. Soft luxurious towels and linens. Comfortable Queen Beautyrest beds with comfy 8 pillows per two Queens. Great breakfast included. Best swimming pool in Ontario. 10 acres of landscaped grounds and gardens.

Was very sad to leave and have to wait 2 weeks to return. Very grateful to the entire staff being completely honest and trustworthy when I lost a $600 item that was found and returned to me. As always Ellen, Brian and Robert are Lifesavers.
