Little bit of a turn around finding the location but could be driver error or GPS. We were greeted with a smile. Room 408 -2 Double beds in room for 3 people. Should have booked a larger bed but that is on us for that choice. Beds were comfortable otherwise with 4 nice pillows per bed. All of the interior furnishings and carpets looked newer and clean. Some floors were under construction. Plenty of towels. The hot continental breakfast is 7-10am but one of us needed to leave by 630 so they provided a very nice bag of breakfast foods for her - hardboiled egg, cheese, bagel with cream cheese peanut butter and jam, yogurt, apple, nutrigrain bar, and a muffin. We were pleasantly surprised and very appreciative. We later returned to the hot breakfast which offered eggs, sausage, waffles, fruit, yogurt, cheese, bagels, pancakes. Nicely done. We would stay again.

Rm 408 - Our bathroom tap dripped and was difficult to find the resting spot for it to stop. The fridge cabinet area made some sounds in the night which was difficult to sleep with.

The hotel looks dated from the outside, but the rooms are surprisingly well refurbished which provides a very good value for money compared to the hotels downtown. The location is about 10 min drive from downtown and right next to the St. Laurent Mall. The walk to the mall is also about 10min and the mall offers a variety of food options in the food court. The complimentary breakfast is very basic but adequate at this room rate. The staff were very welcoming and helpful. The free parking is a bonus, as most places downtown charge at least $30 a day.

The amount of toiletries provided in the bathroom was only enough for two people. I have not asked for more, but I assume it is possible.

Exquisitely comfortable beds and towels, best I’ve ever had at a hotel at this price point. Housekeeping service every day (as of July 2024) if you care about that kind of thing — it impressed my relatives very much. Jumbo-sized TV. Decent, convenient location — it’s in an industrial park near the freeway, but there are lots of services nearby including a very good coffee shop, Ten Toes. We later discovered it’s also within walking distance of the light rail that goes directly downtown to a Parliament station and a Rideau station near ByWard Market — though it was July so it was partly under construction, of course. (Not sure if there are any sidewalks to the light rail though, since the neighborhood isn’t exactly full of pedestrians.)

We struggle to find anything we didn’t like. To be honest, the complimentary breakfast was the usual tasteless industrial factory rubbish — it could’ve used some fresh fruit or full-fat yogurt — but at this price, any free breakfast at all is nice, and the eggs were passable.

Great location. Very close to the 417. Ample free parking. Check in was seamless. Matthew was very friendly helpful. Room updated and large. Huge south facing window. Great blackout curtain. Fridge in room. Coffee machine and ample Coffee/tea pods. Bottles of water provided. Bed was very comfortable as where the pillows. Sheets and duvet very clean. Washroom was large and shower was large too. Entire room was clean. One down side was that the toilet didn’t flush well. Two-three flushes even for tissue. Breakfast provided and was more than ample. Hot and cold items. Checkout was as easy as check in thanks to Scott. I’ll definitely return.

The hotel is located close to the 417, local restaurants and the St. Laurent mall. The hotel was very quiet and the hotel manager was awesome to deal with. Although I don’t know his name, he was very welcoming, helpful and so accommodating.

1. They need to update the lamps in the rooms. They are all very dated and loose when you try to turn the light on or off. It would have been nice if the lamps had a plug in them that you could use to charge your phone by your bedside. 2. The toilet did not flush fully so sometimes you had to reflush.

It's quietness, customer service. The cleaners special the housekeeping lady ( sorry I didn't ask her name) who clean our room on Sunday July 14/24 she was very friendly, the whole time she was working she was smiling and ask us "if there was anything we need to make our stay better". I / we really appreciate her. The hotel is lucky to have her/ staff like her. And the 2 ladies in the breakfast room, the greeted us every morning the always asked if we need anything before 10 am we were happy that we choose the hotel.

Wish the ventilation on the bathroom was better

- The staffs are friendly and helpful. - The management is very well, being able to accommodate to our need with flexibility. - The breakfast is replenished fast. - Easy checkin and checkout. - The location is convenient. - Interestingly, I was assigned the same room as the previous stay one year ago. The happy memories spent with my families here a year ago flooded back when I open the door.

- For breakfast, the waffle's quality can be improved. The batter is a not as good as before. - Ordered some more shampoos from the reception, but not delivered...

The price, the location and the breakfast were good. It takes just about 10 minutes walk from St. Laurent O-Train station, so commute was very easy. I love the big room with two beds and it had good air conditioning. The staff was very nice too. Although I arrived at the hotel very late due to bus delays, the front desk person greeted me with smile and helped me with checking-in. It had bottled water, soap, conditioner and hair dryers inside the room. Their breakfast included selections of juice, boiled eggs, muffins, self-service waffle maker, which are all my favourite.

The shower in the bathroom did not have a closable door, and the shower head is fixed. They made the showering a little unpleasant.

The room was spacious and airy with a lot of natural light coming in. All the amenities one can expect were available and we especially liked the work desk and chair setup. Also, the staff graciously extended our checkout time at no additional charge so that my wife could stay in the room while I was away at a business meeting.

The TV was positioned on the wall to the left side of the bedstead and you would have to turn sideways to watch while in bed. This was a slight discomfort. The breakfast area is quite small and can get a bit crowded.

The atmosphere lived up to the name of the Hotel, WelcomINNS. We always got assistance when needed, the interactions were friendly, jovial and comforting. Our room was very clean and comfortable. The breakfasts were nicely presented and there was enough variety to satisfy hunger. We were also a stone's throw away from St Laurent Shopping center which was very convenient for food court and shopping. Overall I give my stay there a 👌

The remote for the TV was difficult to use for changing stations, that's about it. But, a small point.
