I got there a little earlier than the check in time. The woman at the front desk still allowed me to have access to my room, which was really kind as I was attending an event that started at 3pm (the check in time itself).

So there was a door between my room and another room. I was told not to open the door. Whoever was on the other side of that door (another person at the hotel) did actually open the door, which kind of sacred me enough to say I was having problems falling asleep. If the lock is broken, that should be fixed. I did tell the man who opened the door that he is not supposed to. Luckily nothing in my room went missing the time I was away and the man did not come back. I just feel this needs to be fixed for every one's safety.

Location was amazing, studio was convenient and well furnished it s like a small apartment perfect for what I needed , staff was amazing very kind and always willing to help they even communicate on how to have access to my room since I arrived at 2.00am… (flight problem) Nice and restful stay

Stayed one week and had no clue where to throw my trashcan … but it s really just a small detail

Initially booked 3 nights but then extended for much longer. I stayed in two rooms, the first was a little ragged around the edges but the important considerations (a clean bathroom and bed) were fine. The second room was much nicer and less tired, the bathroom and bed were also clean. The location was good and handy, the tram stop was close by and one could be 'Down Town' in 12 to 15 minutes. There were plenty of bars, places to eat and cafes nearby - and also a laundry immediately in front as there were no facilites on the premises.

There were only two TV channels'

Having a separate room for one of the beds unexpected but appreciated. The room was very spacious and quiet and being away from the main road was very nice and helped keep the noise down while sleeping.

The lack of face plates on some of the electrical, and that some of the wiring was hanging out of the walls was not a bother for us during our stay, but would have me a little worried if I were to bring family to the location.

No staff found in the morning when we checked out had to wait till the cleaning lady showed up as she was passing by to helped us

Room: 1 Superior Double Room for 2 nights: Exactly what we were looking for; an affordable place to stay that was safe, in a good location, and access to public transport in order to explore the beautiful city in the day and sleep at night. Located in the heart of Chinatown, it was also around the corner from Kensington Market. Tram and subway stops a brief walk away. Beds were more on the firm side but surprisingly comfortable. The booking deposit was refunded without issue. Parking is limited and cost extra per night (~20 CAD), but it was not street parking and I was not concerned about my vehicles safety. I was satisfied with the provided soap/shampoo, and there were more than enough towels to go around for the two of us. They also had a light, pleasant fragrance. Bonus points for being quirky as well, both in the building's shape and the general atmosphere; it did have more of a hostel feel. Were I to do it again, I would book here.

1. Room was not overtly dirty, but it could have been cleaner. There were a small amount of stains in the white linens. 2. The website could have specified better that there are a limited number of parking spaces and that it is first come first serve, luckily they were able to accommodate us.

The staff were very very nice I forgot the adapter for my phone so they lent me one it was also pouring rain when I got there and we had to go down the street to my room in the pouring rain and the gentleman I believe the owner lent me an umbrella very nice of him. The location at Dundas and Bathurst was fantastic for me.

I'm more of a soft mattress person and the bed was very firm but if you like that there you go. There was a small kitchen that wasn't very well equipped. The fridge and microwave worked well. The room was small but I still found it excellent value for the money.

bed was a good, firm mattress. view from the window was lousy, just the other side of the building and parked cars on the street for a view. The TV was bolted too high on the wall. It was hard for me to look at after my eye operation. The room was okay and clean. location was great cause i could walk to the hospital. i did use the kettle for tea and the microwave for warming up some chicken wraps i bought at a nearby restaurant.

TV too high on the wall. Some lunatic was yelling and swearing outside on my last night there. Scared another couple that was staying at the hotel as well cause we didnt dare go out for a smoke till much later.

The location. Owner was friendly and staff. Nice sized studio apartments.

Staff need to attend to one person only and not get side tracked in to dealing with another person, as the current person wants to check in asap first. U can tell the other person to wait. All rooms should have 2 keys. 1 key for each room is unacceptable and not convenient. Also that 1st picture showing the metal stairs and hotel.. shouldnt be put up as it makes the hotel look ghetto and not nice. So take it down. Not a good pucture to market the hotel.

Location was great. Beds were comfortable. Liked that there was parking. Helpful staff. Surfaces were clean, and there was a fridge and some basic kitchen supplies.

The lock on the entrance to the two rooms worked, but not the one on our room. Not sure it mattered as I don't think anyone else was in that other room.
