Wonderful and surprising place hidden behind a small facade in a lively and colourful area of Toronto. Cool room, good bed and shower. Friendly staff, who gave me some very useful tips for food and coffee. Good and friendly communication by text.

The light in the room is very bright, bordering on harsh. A few lamps with more subdued, warmer light would be a major improvement to this room. A few hooks near the bathroom to hang towels and clothing would also be a good idea. I did miss a table to sit and work at, though I can see that would come at the expense of the couch.

Good location, nice room, modern and clean amenities. Bathrobes and towers and slippers provided, which is a nice luxury to have!

Check in is a bit weird, there is no lobby and if you don’t have a phone connection or internet data is hard to make contact. We waited 20 minutes for someone to come get us from the front door. They could simply share the WiFi password and solve the communication problem. The hold deposit on the room is pretty expensive and I just don’t think it’s a nice thing to do.

The room why compact was very nice, very clean & comfortable bed and lovely small kitchen. In addition the roof top deck was amazing and great to sit up on. The most amazing thing is the Host. She was amazing and super knowledgeable / friendly & passionate about the property and told us all about the local area and where the best dining was & bus / town car etc. I cannot complement her more as it was just a great experience.

This is a great property and I cannot fault it. We both loved our two nights there.

We had a wonderful stay at Ode! I have never stayed in such a beautifully curated space with so much attention to detail. The room has everything you need, with recommendations to great places in the neighbourhood which is full of bars, restaurants and shops, with public transport in front of the building and small touches to have a very comfortable stay . Not to mention that the owner Erica was very communicative and welcoming. Highly recommend and the next time I am in Toronto I will definitely stay at Ode.

The hotel is a family owned and run (all female) business and they’ve done an amazing job! Erica (Mum) is so helpful and responsive. It’s in a great area of Toronto and easy to get downtown, either via walking or streetcar. So many little shops and restaurants are close by so you don’t even have to head downtown if you don’t want to! Would highly recommend and would come back in an instant when returning to Toronto.

The room is modern, essentials are provided and location is perfect! Nick, the host, is very responsive and accommodating. There were great recommendations on where to go and what to do.

Since it's next to the main street and a bar, it can be noisy (sometimes)in the evening. I'm not a fan of using air-conditioning all the time and I always leave the windows open. To deal with noise I had to close the windos.. But other than that, the location is perfect.

I loved the good vibe of this place and Erica was very nice and helpful. Loved the furniture and decoration, all made with local products, the amenities too, super good quality Canadian soap and the fact that there is a bluetooth speaker is a great detail that means so much. The neighbourhood is great and lovely as well as the recommendations written on the card left in the room, and the last top details is the DIY SPA mask left on the bed, amazing!!

Comfortable rooms ! Great staff ! Especially loved housekeeping , we had so many incredible chats in the morning From check in to check out it was effortless and also felt cared for Loved the rooftop deck , went there to read often and to workout a bit too . Was in Toronto for Salsa on St Clair and was the perfect space to practice

Could use utensils in the kitchenette

We love staying here at this really cozy and comfortable studio. Spacious and lovely. Great location to boot. The hosts were such gracious people. We loved the coffee shop next door called Larry’s. Great coffee and pastry for breakfast. The studio has a kitchen which is a plus. Highly recommended. Look no more and book this place!!

- comfy bed - room fairly well equipped, some kitchen bits let you do some basic things - nice rooftop (for whole building) - decent location with trams just a step away and bars, restaurants and cafes - friendly staff and an easy check in process, with possibility for late check in

- view out the windows was just a concrete wall, so very little natural light - some noise from outside, AC unit and trams vibrate the building when it goes by, though it never caused sleeping issues for me
