The Sonder we stayed at in Toronto was a great alternative to a hotel, and I felt more secure with the Sonder booking than I would have with an Airbnb. It was a bright spacious condo (for 2), and the extra bathroom was a plus. Though we didn't use the balcony, it would be great for warm summer nights.

The condo did not have extra bedding (which was deliberate as there was a washer/dryer in the unit), and because the space had a lot of windows, it was airy and cool, even with the heat turned up. For winter bookings, I would suggest some extra bedding and perhaps a throw blanket or two for the couch.

The location was perfect. Great district and a walk away from Queen St. Loads to see right on the doorstep. The building staff and the team at Sonder are faultless. I would love to stay again.

The room smelt like cigarettes. Not smoky but stale. The place was immaculate and fresh top to bottom but the smell of cigarettes was noticeable even the following day after I arrived. Other than that - zero complaints.

We stayed twice over a ten day period. The first suite was not very clean but via the app a clean was quickly arranged and the standard was much improved. The left luggage facility was extremely useful. The in-app response time to questions / concerns was good. Well equipped suite, with excellent laundry

Cleanliness needs some attention. In the second suite there were crumbs in the fridge and stains down the front of the dishwasher - but it was cleaner than the first one. The dishwasher didn’t seem to work in the second suite. Some storage drawers would be helpful - not everything can be hung.

Self-catering. Very convenient for grocery supermarket and drug store, where TTC passes could be bought. Excellent views (17th floor), secure access, easy to follow instructions for access to building and apartment. Quieter since not right in centre of the city, but convenient for streetcar into centre. All facilities provided in the apartment – cutlery, crockery, towels, toiletries etc. I wouldn't hesitate to come here again if revisiting Toronto.

Very minor point, but no direct plug-in for USB cables – you need to bring your own adapters. A little construction noise from next to the railroad, but nothing that would disturb your sleep.

Loved the balcony and view of downtown at night. The apartments are located on top of a grocery store, and central to so many restaurants, so food was convenient and various. There is a dishwasher, clothes washer and dryer, and normal kitchen appliances in the unit. It is also located about a ten minute walk from the train station. Be aware that parking is an extra $35 dollars a night. Expensive parking, but there is little to no street parking in Toronto. If I didn't have to drive there, I wouldve flown in and taken the metro to the apt. Loved it, great place to stay!

The only downside (and wasn't a huge deal) for me was that the building is also located on top of a day care or school, so during weekdays, there were kids screaming on the playground right outside the balcony.

Since discovering Sonder, it’s where I always book for my events in Toronto and Ottawa. The apartments are comfortable, well equipped and located within walking distance to my venues. In this case, I was working an event at the Enercare Centre. It’s an easy walk back and forth daily. I ended each long day on my feet with a glass of wine on the balcony overlooking the soccer fields, with the CN Tower in the distance. Simply ideal!

Parking can be an issue, but for me, the event offered exhibitor parking at the Enercare. If you were coming for leisure, you’d need to look into parking options.

The apartment is above a good supermarket and a drug store. Got everything we need for preparing food in the apartment. There are several eateries around the area too. There is a streetcar stop outside the apartment which gets us downtown. The unit is well supplied with sufficient amenities including extra trash bags so we didn't have to contact them for extras. There is a washing machine and a separate dryer in the room which is very convenient. There is a high island table for 2 with sufficient space for dining and work. There is no front desk as the Sonder apartments are within a residential building. But talking to the staff is easy with the Sonder app and their response time is fast, within 30 mins. Overall I am very satisfied with my stay. Thank you!

The bedroom is a little dark. No ceiling light except for 2 bedside lights.

My stay here was perfect. The apartment had everything we needed. The roof top swimming pool had the most beautiful view, with the view of the CN tower. The Sonder App was a really cool and efficient feature, had all the information we needed during our stay and a 24hr chat box incase we needed to talk to staff. There is a supermarket/pharmacy just downstairs which came in handy and was convenient.

Poor lighting in the room and water pressure in the shower was not great. I did not really look forward to shower time.

The apartment was above our expectations, everything was clean, well equipped and very efficient. For example the kitchen was equipped with a microwave, oven, coffee machine, and dishwasher. The washing machine and the clothes dryer were very convenient during our stay. The check-in was very smooth, well explained, and also the customer support was very reactive. I had a tiny problem within the apartment that was solved the same day. Also you have a tram stop in front of the apartment, in 20 min you are at the CN tower or any central metro stations. Two groceries are next to the apartment and a drugstore. Another positive note was the size of the apartment, really huge, compared with European standards.

All good. If I have to mention something, provide explicit instructions on how to manage the heat system.

I would recommend this place for those willing to keep up with a daily routine while traveling. There is well equipped gym in the building. The kitchen of the apartment is well equipped. There is even a simple coffee machine that can be handy. There is a supermarket downstairs and some restaurants on the block in front of the building. It is a quite area with some shops and restaurants around. It is a few blocks from the Exhibition GO station. The bathroom was super clean and I loved the bath tube.

All rooms - except bathroom - were poorly lightened. So, I had a hard time getting my make up done or even working from my computer at times. The gym does not have mats, so you better bring your yoga mat with you if that's a must. Liberty Village has only one way in and one way out, so it can be a bit tricky to get to downtown due to traffic. You can still take the GO train which takes about 20min. Streetcars can be as slow as walking downtown.
