The breakfast and coffee was good and the staff friendly.

I'm not a big person, but the rooms were too hot. This was simply because the comforters are super thick and plush. There were no fans available. The hotel did us a favor and moved us to a room with a door that we can open while we slept...but then it felt unsafe and noisy. If it wasn't for the temperature issue, this would be our go to

The Nico Hotel is in a great location with plenty of upbeat restaurants nearby. Right in front of the hotel, there’s a D1 store, similar to Aldi, where you can conveniently shop for anything you might need, including ingredients if you plan to cook in your room. The hotel is very clean, offers a buffet breakfast with made-to-order eggs and omelets, and provides a secure and comfortable stay.

There are a few areas where the Nico Hotel could improve. Firstly, while the kitchen is equipped, it is not fully stocked, which might make it difficult to use effectively. Essentials like cooking oil, salt, pepper, or dishwashing liquid are not provided, which can be inconvenient if you're only planning to prepare one or two meals. The most disappointing aspect of my stay was the bed—it was noisy, shifted around, and the mattress was uncomfortable

Staff were always happy to help, rooms and new and nicely built, they had the most comfortable pillows ever and breakfast was good too. Asides providing some ventilation/fan, it’s a great place to stay if you’re in Bogota.

Thought air conditioning was a giving, however upon arrival we realized the runs weren’t air conditioned and we requested a fan. This was provided promptly but barely got the job done and we had to leave the windows open with noise from the ever busy streets coming in. Another issues was our trip was planned between 2 cities and upon our return to bogota we had booked two extra nights and upon return we were checked into a smaller room without prior notice. After a bit of back and forth with the staff, we got some discount from ‘management’ for the inconvenience.

Lovely staff on arrival and throughout, but you must know some Spanish. Spacious room. No air con but it was not advertised as having any so that is fine. Good hot shower with decent pressure. Breakfast adequate with small buffet and made to order eggs - like many other hotels in Colombia. Iron and hairdryer available on request. WiFi reached our room on the 5th floor just fine.

Bed squeaked a lot even with the slightest movement. Could be replaced. I will say that it is noisy, but I don't blame the hotel for that. It is in a busy area and the capital city of Colombia. We slept just fine with our usual Loop earbuds. Medellín El Poblado is just as noisy, and you get used to it pretty quickly.

Loved the location. Close walking distance to restaurants and easy to cab or Uber to tourist locations. The staff is super nice and helpful. It was almost midnight by the time we arrived and we were able to check in easily. The breakfast is very good and served in a lovely room.. Lots of selection, eggs made to order, great coffee!! Our room was very nice and comfortable. It was a suite and very spacious.

This booking included breakfast.. our flight was delayed and we didn't get in till after 1am. We made it down to breakfast at 9.10 (the person who checked us in said it was open till 9), but the day manager would not allow us to get some food.. although it was still laid out and all we wanted was fruits and she would not allow us to have even fruits. No flexibility at all..our flight on Tuesday was leaving we early we tried to get some fruits again for the trip, taxi was coming at 7am..but they would not let us have anything because it was 6.50am.

I arrived at the hotel without my wallet which I had left at home. So I had no way to pay for my room. Juan, who was holding fort at reception on my arrival, and the others the next day were extremely considerate, let me stay in the room while I arranged to have money wired to me. All the hotel staff were extremely courteous and friendly. That for me, beats anything a room offers. Breakfast was great!

The temperature in the room at night could not be controlled. The windows absorbed and radiated cold into the room. There were numerous blankets which will probably satisfy most people, but were too hot for me.

It was literally close to everything, bars, restaurants, pharmacies, stores, bakeries, etc. The room was everyday cleaned and really comfy, and the staff was truly helpful.

Breakfast hours were too early, from 7 to 9, if you go for vacation and leisure purposes waking up at 7 or 8 is not really what you’re looking for. I will suggest they extending the hours to 10am, just like on the weekend. It was actually really pricey for Bogotá. And the bathroom had little privacy. It truly needed a door.

The size of the room with kitchenette, cleanliness, absence of noise, the first-rate staff, breakfast was varied and tasty, location is excellent and safe (though Bogota requires being careful at all times). Most definitely the place to stay, over the years it has never disappointed us.

I lived for a month in the Apartasuites and had an amazing stay. The suite was spacious and comfortable and had all I needed. Some even have balconies! The staff was phenomenal, so helpful and kind and went out of their way to make the stay wonderful. I was even able to stay in my room til evening before a very late flight. The work/conference space is well equipped and the location is perfect for walking to all the delicious restaurants and grocery stores (from little markets to a fantastic Carulla grocery store with liquor department and even a gourmet market) and the Avenida Chile mall with good-rate currency exchange on the top floor and a wide variety of stores for everything I needed including a new suitcase and undergarments. The fantastic Old Creek trail (online reservations required) is also nearby, where you can hike up from the bustle of Bogota to gorgeous jungle and even a “paramo” micro-ecosystem that’s maybe more amazing than the Monserrate destination so popular in this wonderful city.
