The hotel was beautiful and the staff was so helpful and friendly. The food was great at the restaurant. We loved the roof top pool.

The room itself was loud because of the location. I wouldn’t have stayed there again because the noise at night and early in the morning both.

First impression was very good. Nice interior and a warm welcome from the staff who gave us useful information and served us a fresh and awesome welcome drink on top. Our room was great. good space, cleaned and two air conditioners and comfortable bed. The location of the hotel was also perfect. You can have your own privacy but at the same time be in the centre of Getsami areas where you have close to food bars and restaurants and shopping. We highly recommend this place 😊

The breakfast was a bit disappointment since. everything else was high class.

Breakfast included was a massive perk - really nice dishes available for free every morning made it easy to get our days started. Loved the smell, the cleanliness, the proximity to really vibrant areas of the city. Things are also relatively affordable, definitely lower than typical food / drink prices in the US even though it's an upscale property. Staff was super friendly and accommodating. Doña Lola is also a great restaurant. Can't recommend it enough

AC was weak in the rooms, making it hard to cool off at night (visited during the Colombian summer months). The building also lost power for 5-10 minutes in the middle of a dinner we were having at Dona Lola.

I enjoyed my stay at Casa Lola. The decor throughout the hotel is outstanding! The lobby, breakfast area, the rooftop, restaurant and most especially the room were all well thought out, inspiring and inviting. The staff went above and beyond to make my stay memorable. I used their concierge to book me a private guide to take me around the city and for dinner recommendations. Every afternoon, I’d tell them what type of ambiance I’m looking for and they’d give me recommendations and book the reservations for me! They even arranged the transportation for me. The location is at the heart of Getsemani, all the action, particularly the nightlife. It’s within steps from Plaza de la Trinidad, the street arts, and plenty of food options. Every day, I’d walk to The Walled City to explore historical sites and more eating options. I’d gladly recommend this hotel and would stay there again!

The breakfast was filling but for my taste, I thought it was too greasy.

If this hotel was a person, I’d run off with it and we’d get married, then have our honeymoon at this hotel. The hotel had a beautiful atmosphere, like stepping into a secret hideaway, sheltered from the bustle of the city. It was stylishly decorated and infused with the warm scent of smoked oranges. The rooftop pool was a lookout over the entire city. The staff were consistently fantastic and took every care to make us feel welcome. The only thing that would stop me recommending this hotel is that I wouldn’t want too many people knowing about it.

We couldn’t live there

I had a great experience, first of all I loved the "riad" vibes of the place. We spent most of the time by the pool and there was no many people around. it makes our stay very special and somewhat "exclusive". the staff were very attentive and helpful all the time. the facilities may be dated and not so luxury as you expected from a 5 stars boutique hotel however the staff compensated with an exquisite customer service.

I didn't like the location but its not a negative aspect, its inside the city walls and it would be chaotic for the traffic reasons. but we adapted to it fast.

The decor was just breathtaking- worth it for this alone, it's like living in an art gallery. The restaurant was amazing. Location was also great. Amazing noise cancellation so you can rest properly

Check in/ out a little slow. Staff very friendly but I made a couple of requests (e.g. contacts for catamaran) that were never followed up on despite promises.

Great location, food is great, staff is very friendly, good amenities, rooms are clean and well appointed.

Breakfast service is very slow and not attentive. Service at the pool is non existent. Restrooms and shower room in guest rooms need better privacy. Very difficult to communicate needs with staff due to language. This level of hotel should have staff that communicate better.

The hotel's location is excellent, inside the walls of the Old Town.   You can walk to almost all attractions in a few minutes. On site we found nice and helpful staff. We had several requests that were fulfilled. The living conditions were very good. Despite the proximity to the street, there is silence inside this historic tenement house. There are swimming pools and comfortable relaxation zones on the roof.

Just the best location, right in the heart of the arts districts do you can wander out your door for street food and music, cafe Havana literally metres away! And only a very short stroll to the walled city so it is literally the best place to be in Cartagena. Great breakfast, beautiful rooms.
