I've reviewed for a separate "King" room that I had to book for one evening due to the Hotel being full. The transition into another "Queen" room for the rest of our dates was smooth. The staff, Mildred, Ronald and Leonardo (apologies I only remember a few but everyone was lovely) were very accommodating. Our new Queen room didn't have a Mini fridge. I was a little surprised as none of the room specified this, therefore I assumed they 'would' all have one. Our King room did, but our Queen room didn't, & even though my initial approach was to think (maybe like London!) I had prepare evidence and how it "wasn't listed" - they just smiled at me and said - "we'll just sort one for you" before there was any need to explain further! If I had not seen the King room, maybe I would never have noticed the Queen really is a fair bit smaller. Although just as accommodating, clean & suitable. If you manage to find my review for the King, you'll see the room image compared to this one. Bathroom facilities were totally acceptable. In other hotels through out Colombia I had struggled with their hot/cold availabilities & shower heads. But none here. Breakfast sensible & ideal. Rooftop petite, but I didnt actually find I couldn't get a bed, when I wanted one! (There are only 4 sunbeds). Super cute additional rooftop with seating above the pool-level rooftop. The hotel was very centrally located which is what I was after. Having read the reviews I knew this meant it was going to be quite noisy but the hotel provided decent ear plugs which worked really well and my sleep wasn't disturbed. The aircon worked well, the bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was nice. The staff were all friendly and helpful and happy to try to help despite my non existent Spanish.

I did enjoy my stay at this hotel but can't help feel the room I had wasn't as nice as I would have expected for the money I paid - although it was comfortable and met my needs. Don't book this place just for the pool. It's the size of a postage stamp and only has two deckchairs in the shade and two in the water in the direct sunshine. Unfortunately each time I went to use the pool the shaded chairs were in use so I couldn't make use of the space.

It is a small but very well-designed room. It is very modern, with a big window and very efficient AC. The bathroom is excellent. Some staff—breakfast and cleaning—are fantastic—super friendly and efficient. Overall, it is in a great location, although it is never quiet. Breakfast was okay—not too fancy, but it was okay. It is possible to book a late check-out for an extra.

I was missing a fridge in the room. The cleaning amount was increased after discussing with the staff and was again adjusted to the correct amount.

It would be nice to have a bottle of water in the room It would be good to have an Info card in the room with times for the pool, breakfast, numbers to call reception, how to work the safe etc. Room needs a hair dryer It was tricky to work the TV It would be good to have a larger, more varied lunch/evening menu

The staff were super friendly, the rooms were always clean and had a lovely perfume after housekeeping cleaned it. Check in and out lasted less than 10 mins. I was greeted with a welcome drink and a refreshing towel. The location is perfect, close to cute shops, convenience stores, restaurants and pharmacies and lots of money exchange spots.

The street can get a bit loud so the rooms on that side are a bit noisy. But it's not really the hotel's fault.

The entire hotel staff was extremely helpful, professional, kind and attentive to our needs. They treated you like good friends and were very flexible in terms of accomodating customers. Good cable TV and reliable wifi were also included. Breakfast options were rather limited but good enough and service during breakfast was very good. The hotel is close to many places a tourist in Cartagena may want to visit. Taxi/ transportation service that they deal with is also very reliable, professional and safe. Housekeeping service did a good job as well. Finally, the building is in a very good condition overall.

rooms facing the street/ rooms with balcony could be better insulated. We had to use ear plugs to be able to sleep. For sure it's understood that the center of the city is very noisy almost every night and that it's very difficult to properly insulate buildings that have been built a v long time ago. However, maybe adding an extra balcony door or acoustic insulation material where the balcony door is located could help insulate these rooms better. Finally, drinks at the rooftop were a little overpriced compared to the prices offered by other bars or restaurants in the city for similar or same drinks.

Perfect location, very friendly staff. I definitively recommend it.

There were a couple of drawbacks. The curtains in the room did not fully block out the light, making it difficult to achieve complete darkness, especially in the morning. Additionally, there was a noticeable “musty” smell in some areas of the hotel, which was unpleasant at times. I believe addressing these issues could greatly improve the guest experience.

We loved this hotel! Location was perfect, close to everything. The hotel is super nice, clean, nice sized rooms, the rooftop is perfect for a nice meal and to chill! Staff is so friendly and helpful! I would definetely stay here again! Ps. Food was awesome as well

The place is close to everything, which is the main reason to stay there, IMO. And it is comfortable! Breakfast was good, and although choices were not as abundant, as in some other places I stayed, but if you need additional food, there is a ton of restaurants within 2-3 walking distance.

I wish staff spoke English better. It was definitely manageable (and it seems to be generally a problem in Colombia, so I was mentally prepared), but it does make things a bit more complicated than it otherwise could be.

Great feeling of safety and 24/24H front desk! I was welcomed with a nice cocktail. I stayed in a spacious double room with a on a great bubbly street in the Historical Centre of the city (select wisely). Very clean, nice hot running water, powerful air conditioning, good Wi-Fi, WONDERFUL staff, impeccable cleaning service, a functional elevator, a restaurant and bar on the 5th floor with a rooftop and even a jacuzzi and a swimming pool. There’s also a bar on the ground floor and the entry hall looks GREAT. The staff is really the highlight sans the best part of this hotel. So friendly and helpful. You feel VERY safe in the hotel. The hotel is IN the city centre of the historical part of the city and close to many museums and the start of many touristic tours. It’s close to a port where you can take boats to beaches like Playa Blanca and Pao Pao beach. It’s also very easy to access other parts of the city from the hotel thanks to the amount of taxis you encounter. The stay comes with a breakfast buffet from 7-10. They’re always welcoming you with a warm drink and a glass of juice. You have the option for eggs (I don’t eat eggs), you can always get a plate of fruit and the special pastries change throughout the week. My absolute favourite was the carrot cake. Tasted like heaven.

I wish we could order pancakes. It would’ve been even better for those of us who don’t like eggs. Depending on where your room is located, it might get a little noisy, but not impossible to sleep through.
