Location is quiet but walking distance to everything, rooftop rotating restaurant was great, many options in included breakfast buffet, lobby area and many amenities were 5 star and fancy. Decor and ambiance of entrance areas and staff is 5 star

Rooms were below expectations. No exhaust fan in bathroom, toilet flush needs to be held down 3 seconds and needs multiple attempts, no hairdryer or kleenex in room, lack of outlets and the only ones in the room can't fit with wider adapters

Room & breakfast were nice. As to location it's near Parque LLeras & Parque El Poblado. To go to the other side to reach Oviedo & Santa Fe Mall for me it was too much to walk considering I use a walking-cane. Cleaning & Restaurant staff very friendly & always helpful. End-of-year Party in the rotating restaurant (above 18th floor) is very nice and we enjoyed it tremendously.

In the room I missed a coffee-machine or water kettle so we could make coffee or just a cup tea. We had to call room-service to order 2cups of coffee or tea and by the time they arrive at the room it would be cold within couple of seconds. This is something most hotels have nowadays, and you would relieve the room service personnel that may have so many other rooms to attend with bigger orders.

Spacious suite. Quiet room. Food generally good.

No English speaking waiters in restaurant so difficult understanding menu options. Flickering light bulb over table in room.

There were virtually no electrical.outlets which made it difficult to connect all the devices. But I saw other rooms and they did have outlets. I was unlucky

My room was spacious and clean and the bed was extremely comfortable. All the front desk staff I encountered were very helpful and thankfully, due to my awful Spanish, they spoke very good English. Breakfast was good with plenty of choice. Across the road from the hotel there is a Starbucks and a great waffle and pancake place that I chose to eat at in the evenings ( savoury and sweet food). The pool area was nice although by the time I got back in the afternoon after exploring the city the sun was blocked out by the tall buildings surrounding it so I didn’t get to enjoy it as much as I would have liked .

The service around the pool and in the restaurant put me off from eating at the hotel other than for breakfast. On my first day I struggled to get a drink by the pool despite seeing the staff multiple times and later that evening I sat waiting to be served in the restaurant and after asking the same member of staff several times for a menu and waiting to order I gave up and went across the road and ate somewhere else. I’m not sure if this was because I was a lone traveller and not overly dressed up in what is quite a smart restaurant … the table next to me looked more the part and seemed to be getting really great service from several members of the waiting on staff. But the pancake place across the road is great!

Great location , impossible to beat really. Quiet at night but a short walk from everything in the Poblado area, nice big pool, we had dinner in the revolving restaurant on the roof which was a neat experience, we enjoyed the breakfast. The room is not huge, but its certainly comfortable. We enjoyed our stay and the price was great

Its annoying to me when the price told at reception is more expensive than the price on booking and the hotel then refuses to match bookings price, it seems rediculous that would be their policy, they pay a commission to booking so why not match or beat the price? and save the fee. Seems boneheaded.

I love the decor and vibe when you enter this beautiful hotel. The rooms are spacious and the beds are extremely comfortable. Great view from the bedroom window over Medellin. Breakfast is delicious with many options and the servicing staff at breakfast are very friendly and attentive. I found all of the staff I spoke to at this hotel polite and helpful. I would keep on returning to this hotel in Medellin if I had the choice.

I have no complaints about this hotel. I have stayed at this hotel a couple of times in the past when I stayed travelled to Medellin and I like it so much that I keep on staying at it when I return.

Large comfortable bed. Good breakfast. Hot water in the shower. Good Wi-Fi. The hotel is located next to the restaurant area on one side and a large shopping street on the other.

No hair dryer in the room, you have to call to bring one. No complimentary water in the room. We were initially placed on the top floor (right under the restaurant) and we could not sleep at night because it was very noisy. We were moved without any problems several floors below to a quiet and peaceful room. The pool looks nice, but it was raining and we could not use it. Overall, the level is 4 stars.

Hotel staff is perfect, especially Daniel Vergas. I accidentally made a reservation for a week later on booking.com. The guy organized everything quickly and gave me an even better room than I booked at the same price for the day I arrived. High level of service and professionalism. If I come to Mediilinin again, this is the hotel I will choose. Central location close to everything and El Poblado Street, large rooms, large pool. Two things that need improvement are the wifi that didn't work for a few days and the breakfast which is a 3-star level. Thanks to them, I stayed at the same hotel in Cali which was excellent in both respects.

Having bilingual staff was very helpful. The breakfast was well catered, and all the staff were lovely. The pool was beautiful. Easy pick-up access for taxi's or Uber's. Centrally located within a short walk to all sorts of restuarants, shopping centres and street vendors. I would definitely stay at the Dann Carlton should I return to Medellin.

This is not a negative on the hotel, but once we converted the peso to AUD we realised how expensive our laundry service was. It was done the same day, and we appreciated that.
