- the property was very clean and well-maintained - about 30 mins away from the Old Town by foot, 15/20 mins away from beaches - the property is very close to bus stations - quiet neighbourhood - the host provided lots of useful information about what to do/see/amazing restaurants and bars in Dubrovnik - we were allowed to leave our luggage at the property & still use the facilities (pool) after check-out while waiting for our flight

The host was so warm and lovely and went above and beyond. Location was great, swimming pool was lovely and the whole place was clean. We were able to do laundry which was great.

There were some snaggings with fixtures and fittings, shower was a bit awkward as wasn’t high and the water rushed backwards and flooded the bathroom unless you stood very close to the wall where the tap was and we had to use our towels to mop this up as one wasn’t provided for the floor. Also had to use the same towels for the pool. We had some issues with ants however was sorted with spray. The rooms have some light coming in so I struggled sometimes to sleep as need it to be pretty dark but we found a solution for this and the host was very quick at providing a temporary solution.

Really enjoyed our stay, before we arrived we was sent a welcome message from the host Jelena with recommendations on restaurants, bars and things to do during our stay. The apartment was very clean and perfect size for the 2 of us. The apartment is in tbe perfect location. Between the beach in lapad and the old town of dubrovnik. Close to supermarket and bakeries. Jelena the host was excellent before, during and after our stay. She messaged regularly to make sure we had everything we needed, was very helpful and made the holiday very relaxing. Would highly recommend

Before I had even arrived, I received a text from the host (Jelena) with all the details I needed to get to the property, including a photo of the entrance and location details that you can click on to open up in Google maps. Jelena also sent some great recommendations for places to eat, places to visit, and details of local transport to get to the old town. As I arrived (around 23:00) I was met by the hosts husband, who spotted me wandering around in the dark, due to a delayed flight, and showed me to my room and described all the facilities, and even offered me a welcome drink! The room was spotlessly clean with working air conditioning, and all the things you might need, including an iron and a small safe for valuables, there was also a bottle of Iced Tea in the fridge! There is a pool, which is great to cool down in after sunbathing (there are lots of sunbeds to choose from, over 3 levels), I even spotted a BBQ, so I expect that is for customer use. Location is close to a local supermarket, a couple of minutes walk down the road. The property is only a few minutes walk to the nearest bus stop, or you can walk to the old town in 30-ish minutes. Whilst there, Jelena invited myself and her other guests for a home cooked meal. If you receive such an invitation, make sure you accept! Jelena's cooking was amazing! Also at the meal were Jelena's husband, relatives and her helper (who does a great job of keeping everything clean and tidy and assisting Jelena). Everyone was really friendly, and this kind of welcome really makes the difference to your stay, especially if you are a lone traveller. Jelena clearly loves looking after her guests and entertaining, also taking an interest in asking what could be improved. She also ensures you have everything you need whilst you are there, but if you do need something, just send Jelena a message and she will get back to you very quickly. If I visit beautiful Dubrovnik again, this is where I will be staying.

FANATASTIC LOCATION AND ACCOMOADATION. THERE WAS A STUDENC SHOP WITHIN A MINUTE WALK AWAY FOR ANY ESSENTIAL. TAKEAWAY/BARS/COFFEE SHOPS/BANK/BAKERY ALL WITHIN A FEW MINUTES WALK. ACCOMOADATION/POOL AND TERRACES WAS VERY PRIVATE AND DONE TO HIGH STANDARD. THE POOL HAS CHANGED LOCATION AND BEEN UPGRRADED FROM WHAT IS SHOWN ON BOOKING.COM ALONG WITH MANY OTHER OF THE FACILITIES. JELENA WAS AN AMAZING HOST AND WAS AVAILBLE ON MESSAGE IF WE EVER NEEDED HELP OR ADVISE. SHE GAVE US SOME FANTASTIC RESTAURANTS TO BOOK. MADE US AN AMAZING MEAL. SHE WAS AMAZING. THE BED WAS VERY COMFY, GREAT AIR CON AND HAD EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO HAVE AN AMAZING STAY. OLD TOWN IS A 7 EURO UBER AWAY. WE NEVER WAITED MORE THEN A FEW MINUTES FOR AN UBER. THERE WAS SO MUCH WE COULD DO ALONG WITH ENJOYING THE BEATIFUL SCENARY, FANTASTIC WEATHER AND CRYSTAL CLEAR SEA. WE WILL DEFINTELY BE RETURNING TO CROATIA AND PLAN TO END OUR NEXT TRIP AT PALM TREE APARTMENTS.

I had the most amazing stay at Palm Tree Apartments! The unit is new and has everything you need, including great air conditioning and strong wifi for video calls. The private patio and communal pool and seating areas were also nice to enjoy, where the host Jelena and her family cooked dinner for everyone one night. The location is great, quiet but within a few minutes walking of a grocery store and 15 minutes to the beach. Old town is a nice walk or quick Uber away. Jelena is the most kind and thoughtful host, always making sure I had what I needed and even cooking me meals when I was sick. I could not recommend this place more - will definitely be back someday!

Everything was perfect

Firstly, Jelena our host was incredible! Very friendly, helpful and really cared about making sure we had a great stay. The apartments are clean and the pool was a lovely break from the heat. There's shops and bars close by and it's a short bus ride to either old town Dubrovnik or Lapad bay. It was really peaceful due to the location.

Only very small thing, but could have done with an extra pillow, just because we're used to firmer ones at home.

The private balcony! So nice to have a private space to drink coffee and relax in the morning. Well equipped studio. Jelena was exceptionally helpful, and went above and beyond every time. An ideal distance from the hub of old town, a 30 minute walk, with restaurants, convenience stores and beaches all within 10-15 mins when you don’t want to venture that far.

Everything was perfect, the pool area has been upgraded since the photos as well so it was even better than expected.

Apartments are aesthetic, functional, and very clean. They are also well equipped, kitchen included. Necessities like dishwashing liquid, soap, shower gel, kitchen cloths, and toilet paper are provided. If you lack anything just ask the host. The swimming pool is better than in the pictures. Sun terraces are available. The location is 30min walking from the center. Uber, Bolt, and public buses are available. Convenience stores and restaurants nearby. Nice beach 15min walk - Bellevue Beach. A washing machine is available on the premises. You just need to schedule the use with the host. Great value for money!

The host Jelena contacted us a day before our trip to Dubrovnik. She gave us clear information about checking in, travel information, restaurant recommendations (good recommendations!). She’s very responsive and check in with us from time to time throughout our stay. The property is spotlessly clean with air con and other amenities. It’s slightly further away from the old town, but in 6 mins walk, you can take a 10 mins bus from the apartment (free with Dubrovnik pass). There’s a supermarket 1 min away from the apartment which is very handy. The best part is the host invited us and other guests to a family dinner with Croatian food (really delicious btw!). It was a fun evening and great to know other guests too!

The pillow might be a bit too soft for some people who prefer harder pillows.
