This hotel is really lovely. It is a fantastic location and the staff are truly wonderful. The rooms are quite large and the beds are very comfortable. It also has a fabulous breakfast buffet which comes with your room. We were very happy at this hotel.

The only issue at all was that the side of the road where our rooms were was on a street that was very noisy at night. While the windows are new and very solid, they didn't keep the noise out. It woke us up, especially on the weekends. I think that other rooms in the hotel that face a different direction may be quieter - but it would be worth asking.

The ridiculous cost of drinks in the hotel’s bars. For example an Aperol Spritzer costs €9 at almost any bar or restaurant in Split. €15 at the Cornara! As a result the hotel’s bars are empty as all guests go out.

This is our third stay at the Cornaro and again it exceeded expectations. The staff are friendly and kind, but very professional. We particularly enjoyed our time in the ground floor post bar, as well as the rooftop bar, jacuzzi and pool. We first came here on our honeymoon and have returned every for our anniversary since. The staff remember us and always find some way to make our stay extra special. We cannot recommend this hotel, the staff, the food or the atmosphere enough - it is the best location in Split for a sunset meal and drink too! We have had a tricky and stressful year but coming back to the Cornaro feels like returning home and we just love it!

One of the best hotels I have ever stayed in. Modern spacious rooms and bathrooms. A stylish place - mid-century chairs in reception, outside garden atrium for breakfast (a la carte eggs etc included alongside fruit and cereal buffet). It has a "Farrow and Ball" feel overall to the decor - think light grey rooms and dark grey corridors with black and white photos of Split. Beautiful rooftop bar and pool, great location 5 mins walk from Diocletian's palace. Lovely staff, spa (we didn't use this, maybe next time), wine bar in the basement. Truly exceptional.

The location is pretty good, right on the edge of the old town. The hotel itself is modern and well-maintained, but does feel slightly characterless - apparently it has over 150 rooms, and most of those seemed to be populated by middle-aged americans - I've nothing against americans per se, but it does give the place an odd ambience. We had a double room, which had ample space for two people. The bed was good and the Wi-fi was faultless. Breakfast was decent - the usual beverages, fruit, cereal, bread, pastries and hot and cold cooked food. However, the bread was usually baguettes and there was no toaster. The staff were generally professional and friendly.

We tried the roof-top restaurant on the first night. The food was ok, but a bit expensive. The main issue we had was with the housekeeping - while we had no complaints about the room cleaning, they kept forgetting to replace items. We were only there for a week and in that time we ran out of tea, milk and shower gel. This happened over multiple days and each time we had to request more from reception. For the price I expected better.

The hotel is a two minute walk from the main gate to the old town, so the location is excellent. Cars cannot easily enter the old town, so it pays to be just outside so that your taxi or rideshare can drop you off at the hotel itself. We really enjoyed our stay here and it was a great hotel to stay at. Everything was very good and in particular the breakfast have a great choice, both as a buffet and à la carte. A very comfortable bed and a very good shower, a good size room and good lighting. Staff are all super pleasant and had a great attitude Would definitely come back again.

Amazing breakfast, staff amazing and ordered delicious food from the chef! Reception staff are the most attentive and efficient. The rooftop bar has the best view of Split. Beautiful room and appreciate the on the house wine. The location is superb probably the best located hotel with places of interest just withing 1 minute walking distance, convenience store and restaurant very close by. Also had complementary airport pickup so generally is just amazing.

The bed linen can be cleaner a bit dusty.

Wonderful staff that made our stay exceptional. Concierge arranged flower delivery and room set-up for a surprise for our guest. We had given them little notice and they happily helped us out and remembered all the small details. The concierge desk also helped numerous other times with tour guides, directions, restaurants reservations and suggestions. Also, great breakfast and staff. They are all kind, welcoming and helpful. Loved our room on the 3rd floor with great views of the city and sea. Highly recommend this hotel and look forward to returning.

We loved our stay at the Cornaro Hotel! The hotel was beautifully appointed, in the perfect location in the old town of Split which made it easy to get in and out of the city if you’re traveling by car. The room was modern and spacious and the bed and pillows were extremely comfortable. We also loved that it had central air conditioning that was quiet. One of our favorite things about the hotel was their roof top bar! The views were spectacular!! It was the perfect spot to watch the sunset! On top of that their breakfast buffet was substantial and impressive with a large variety of dishes, breads, salads, fruit, desserts etc. We were also very impressed with the staff. Everyone was so friendly and welcoming and extremely helpful, thank you for an amazing experience. We will definitely be back!

The breakfast was delicious and had a wide assortment of cooked, uncooked and made to order food, which was included in the hotel price. I was very impressed with the quality and presentation of the food. The location was wonderful. It is literally next to everything and everything seemed to be less than a ten minute walk away in either direction. Also, it is conveniently located across from a grocery store, which is great if you are staying for a few days. The noise level around the hotel was quiet, although it is within the walls. The hotel is modernized, very clean, lots of closet and shelf space to get comfortable, and the bathroom was a nice size. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. The amenities such as the steam room and sauna were a bonus. Lastly, I would be remised if I didn't mention the rooftop bar and swimming pool with amazing views, and the guitarist who serenaded us with beautiful songs one night. Overall, I would definitely stay again, and would without hesitation recommend to others who love and appreciate a five star hotel! You will not be disappointed!
