Luxury Rooms MA de Dominis was located within the walls of Old Town Split. We traversed the streets and plazas of Split with ease and enjoyment. The Split Riva (boardwalk) was a few minute walk from the apartment and offered numerous eating establishments, diversions, shopping opportunities and people watching. Our hosts, IVANA and MARIN, were able to provide us with all necessary information prior to our arrival in Split, as well as assist us getting acquainted with the Split area. The apartment offered modern security features (electronic keypads for entry).

As we had a car, it was necessary to park outside the walls of Split. Hauling the suitcases to/from the car to MA de Dominis was challenging. The second floor apartment windows overlooked a series of restaurants which were not bound to the noise restrictions of the apartment units.

Excellent communication with Tomislav & Ivana who were really helpful & clear with all details. Breakfast is provided by Vouchers whereby you're able to use 2 x Local Breakfast Bars. Location is superb although getting dropped off at Night & then being able to find the rooms can be difficult as WIFI can be intermittent within the Old Town. [Maybe a Copy Route Map Online would be helpful].Nice touch with Water in Fridge / Chocolates & Bottle of Wine.

Nothing to dislike about the property, we just happened to struggle to find it at Night. Provision of Online Map of Old Town useful or perhaps better still use Tomislav's Offer of Airport Transfers using his brother.

This spot is incredible - Ivana was truly amazing and arranged a pick up at the airport which was so easy after a long journey, paid for our taxi fare (because it was our honeymoon), and picked us up on the edge of old town to walk us to the hotel, a short 7-8 min walk. She was friendly and informative, gave us info on good spots nearby, and the hotel was so charming. It’s an amazing location in old town - quiet but also still in the heart of Split. The room was so quiet and comfortable, with the walls of Diclotienan’s palace making up part of the room! The bed was memory foam and super comfy, with black out curtains. The AC was amazing and very comfortable to sleep in. Breakfast was at two restaurants (could choose between) and ours was yummy at Zinfandel! Would definitely stay here again.

WOW!!! This is THE PLACE to stay in SPLIT! The staff are kind and professional! The location is perfect within how old city walls! Parking was close and convenient! We would recommend this location to friends and family! The room is breathtaking! New old world charm within a 1600 year old building! We LOVED our stay! Don’t hesitate to book!

Everything was perfect!!!

It was a beautiful remodel with a perfect combination of the original and the modern with so many thoughtful and luxury touches. The location within the Palace walls was perfect. The owners couldn’t be nicer. They were wonderful from finding us wandering in the Palace streets when we arrived to taking us to downtown to rent our car when we left. They carried our luggage up the stairs when we came and down the stairs when we left.

Only issue for us was being on the top floor which meant 2 flights of stairs which seemed easier the more we did them.

A beautiful room built into the palace walls in the centre of Split. Within walking distance of loads of great restaurants and the bustling marina. In the room Ivana and Tomislav have thought of everything - from high-end bathroom amenities to use of complimentary beach/pool towels. They were great hosts - super helpful with sorting parking and very knowledgeable about the area. Tomislav suggested a few beaches and restaurants and we loved them all. The room was comfortable and felt very safe.

Having read some reviews, I can confirm that the rooms look over a restaurant terrace. However, the noise didn’t last long into the night so was no trouble to us, and it really is a small price to pay for having such fantastic restaurants right on your doorstep.

The location was right in the heart of Old Town while being off the beaten path on a side street. Historic building renovated with many modern touches. Very sparsely decorated but every amenity was there.

There wasn’t anything we didn’t love about the property. We stayed at the top unit but got to see another one where we left our 2nd suitcase. They are all different taking advantage of the historic presence in that particular space. The one where our luggage was had a section of glass floor to see the very interesting architecture down below.

The room was superb. Very tastefully decorated with top of the range facilities. Very comfortable bed and large room. The host was there to meet us (the location is tucked away) and was very helpful in arranging transfers and giving advice on where to eat. The location was superb - right in the heart of the old town and a few steps from all the restaurants and bars and historical places to visit.

The location is in the heart of a bustling district so there is some noise from the restaurants below, but not too intrusive. Overall though, everything was perfect and I would not say that there was anything that could be improved. I would recommend this to anyone.

10/10 location, super clean and secure key card access. Very large bed and spacious room. Bonus points for having a mini fridge that included a corkscrew for opening wine! Everything was fabulous. A little bit of street noise as it is a very central location but the windows blocked most of it.

Nothing! Be aware that there is no elevator. Bags need to go up a narrow staircase.

Wow! Where do we start with Ivana and her amazing luxury apartment in Split. Firstly, we would like to say thank you for such an amazing stay. The apartment was absolutely incredible, in a great location and everything was as expected, looking exactly like the pictures seen on booking.com. In fact in person it was even better. The cleanliness of the apartment was to a very high standard and there was everything you needed in the apartment - towels, water, kettle, steamer etc. The apartment was definitely luxury, even down to the smallest details like the shower gel, chocolates being left in the room and beautiful decor. This apartment really is a must stay and we would highly recommend. Secondly, Ivana was an amazing host. Ivana messaged us pre arrival and checked in with us to make sure she was there to greet us so we could check into the apartment. Her partner was also there and helped us to take our bags up to the room. Ivana gave us extremely helpful instructions of how to get to the apartment, booked us a dinner reservation and even took care of our transfer to the airport for us. Ivana went above and beyond and made our stay extremely enjoyable and stress free.
