Ideal location, close to everything. The room was so spacious and extremely comfortable. The bathroom was also very spacious and modern. Our room was ready to check in to straight away even though we arrived in the morning, the staff made an extra effort to make this happen for us. All staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was spotless, the whole hotel is immaculate.

Could possibly be a little bit more choice with breakfast options.

The location couldn't be better!! Absolutely brilliant right on the main square. The building was immaculate throughout, great quality and our room was lovely and excellent quality linen and toiletries.

We were sadly in a room opposite a door that says 'Service' we thought nothing of it until we could set our watches got 6.45am (we are early risers but would have liked a choice of a lie in!!) and the loud chatter, whistling and pulling, clanking of items began. Roof Terrace was also closed which was a real shame. It has a slightly disjointed feel between hotel and the bar/restaurant.

Super hôtel, in a fantastic location. The staff were friendly, professional and went over and above in every respect even allowing us to shower and change before our flight in one of the unused rooms. Breakfast was extremely fresh and included both buffet and al a carte options plus champagne if you wanted it. I have travelled widely in some fabulous hotels so I am not easily impressed. I will be back in a heartbeat and would definitely recommend. A shout out to Mario on reception who was nothing but exceptional

Coffee facilities in room was nice but a kettle so that we could make tea would have been nice.

I absolutely adored this hotel, from the welcome at the front desk to the room, breakfast and ambience of the hotel. On arrival, we were greeted by Marco (I hope that was his name) and he made us feel very special. We loved our room, although the lift floors are interesting but not in a bad way! Breakfast is excellent and I loved having the choice of hot food every day. We also ate in the restaurant as well as having drinks, and the restaurant staff were so helpful. I loved this hotel and would love to visit again!

Breakfast was a little chaotic at busiest times but the excellent staff always coped. We were well looked after by all.

Booking.com gave us a bonus of free private transfer airport/hotel. The software for claiming this bonus would not work. Contacting Booking.com was a nightmare. Finally we spoke to a Booking.com “advisor”, who talked us through the website meant to deliver the transfer. It failed under her guidance, just as it had before. The advisor then said she couldn’t help, and rang off.

What a wonderful hotel! Perfectly located in a lovely square within the walled old city, the hotel staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast one of the most interesting and generous I have enjoyed in a hotel, with both the usual suspects and numerous local breakfast items (and delicious coffee). Our room (twin beds) was comfortable, a good size with a modern and spotlessly clean bathroom. Even though it was directly opposite the lift, it was very quiet, too. We ate at the hotel restaurant (sitting outside on the square). The waiting staff were attentive. The food was a little pricey but delicious (I heartily recommend the Dalmatian beef stew.)

The only minor issue was that the rooftop bar (which we had hoped to use for evening drinks) wasn't available due to refurbishment works. The hotel could have done better in letting us know about this before our trip.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. Our room was spacious and overlooked the lively square — a beautiful view to wake up to! The bed and pillows were incredibly comfortable, which made our stay even more relaxing. Breakfast was of great quality, with a nice variety to start the day right. But what truly made our experience exceptional was the staff. Everyone was extremely polite and helpful throughout our stay. A special shoutout to Drago at the reception — he went above and beyond! We were already on our way to the airport when he called to let us know we had forgotten our notebook charger. Since the old town isn’t reachable by car, he waited for us at Riva on a very windy day (bura), just to hand it over. That kind of service is rare and truly appreciated. Thank you, Drago, and the entire team at Santa Lucia! Highly recommended!

Wonderful stay in the best location! The hotel is really central, in beautiful surrounds. The staff were lovely - really friendly and helpful (thank you Drago & Mario!) and gave us great recommendations. Our family room was spacious and spotlessly clean. The shower was great - lovely products and cosy robes, and really comfortable beds. We loved our stay and would definitely book this hotel again if we return to Split - which we all want to! Thank you!

Hotel is situated in the center of bustling old town Split one block from the water. We had a spacious two story room. Breakfast was excellent, staff was friendly, and location was ideal. You can’t drive up to it though, you must walk a couple blocks in.
