Ideal location, close to everything. The room was so spacious and extremely comfortable. The bathroom was also very spacious and modern. Our room was ready to check in to straight away even though we arrived in the morning, the staff made an extra effort to make this happen for us. All staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was spotless, the whole hotel is immaculate.

Could possibly be a little bit more choice with breakfast options.

What a wonderful hotel! Perfectly located in a lovely square within the walled old city, the hotel staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast one of the most interesting and generous I have enjoyed in a hotel, with both the usual suspects and numerous local breakfast items (and delicious coffee). Our room (twin beds) was comfortable, a good size with a modern and spotlessly clean bathroom. Even though it was directly opposite the lift, it was very quiet, too. We ate at the hotel restaurant (sitting outside on the square). The waiting staff were attentive. The food was a little pricey but delicious (I heartily recommend the Dalmatian beef stew.)

The only minor issue was that the rooftop bar (which we had hoped to use for evening drinks) wasn't available due to refurbishment works. The hotel could have done better in letting us know about this before our trip.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. Our room was spacious and overlooked the lively square — a beautiful view to wake up to! The bed and pillows were incredibly comfortable, which made our stay even more relaxing. Breakfast was of great quality, with a nice variety to start the day right. But what truly made our experience exceptional was the staff. Everyone was extremely polite and helpful throughout our stay. A special shoutout to Drago at the reception — he went above and beyond! We were already on our way to the airport when he called to let us know we had forgotten our notebook charger. Since the old town isn’t reachable by car, he waited for us at Riva on a very windy day (bura), just to hand it over. That kind of service is rare and truly appreciated. Thank you, Drago, and the entire team at Santa Lucia! Highly recommended!

Hotel is situated in the center of bustling old town Split one block from the water. We had a spacious two story room. Breakfast was excellent, staff was friendly, and location was ideal. You can’t drive up to it though, you must walk a couple blocks in.

The hotel is beautiful. It was renovated 3 years ago but looks like it was just renovated in the last week. The staff is exceptional. They helped us with ferry tickets, parking challenges and were happy to help no matter what the request. One staff member even walked with us to our car and drove with us to the ferry so we wouldn't get lost. What awesome customer service! Breakfast was also very good and the location of the hotel is excellent. If you need parking be sure to reserve it in advance and notify the hotel 20 minutes before your arrival so they can tell you where your parking spot is located. The hotel is in a pedestrian zone so you cannot drive close to the hotel. Unfortunately, we were not aware of this and may have a ticket coming in the mail for driving on restricted streets :(

Parking was a challenge but that was because we weren't aware of the parking process before arriving at the hotel.

The location is fantastic. The staff are extremely helpful and accommodating.The hotel is spotless.The breakfast is amazing.The beds and pillows makes you feel like you’re sleeping on a cloud.The bathroom and showers are high end. The shouts luxury.We were a party of 10 and all of us loved this hotel and are looking forward to returning and recommending it to your family and friends.

Nothing at all- we loved everything about all the 5 rooms we had and all the staff.

Location great - just be aware no cars are allowed in the area, so you will need to walk to get transport (or get the porter). Lovely front restaurant and bar. Great food available.

Breakfast was a disaster, with no one cleaning the tables. I was alone for one breakfast, and because all the tables were full of dirty dishes, staff I asked suggested I sit in the foyer. It was ridiculous, seeing a whole load of male bar staff/waiters standing around and one female trying to clean all the tables. I ended up clearing my own table, but still had to sit among crumbs from previous diners.

We loved the location of the hotel as it was very central. It is a lovely hotel and nice that it was recently renovated. The staff was very nice and helpful, and the breakfast was very good. We enjoyed going up to the rooftop area and enjoying a glass of wine in the afternoon and coffee in the morning.

Our bathroom had a raised tub and a handheld shower head that was a low since the ceiling above the tub was low, but there was no shower curtain and it was hard to take a shower in it. I had to have my husband hold the shower head for me.

Excellent location. 24 hour reception. Noise reduction/glazing very good as on a public square. Very good air conditioning. Great bathroom/shower. Spacious room.

Iron and ironing board available just to quick press clothes before going out. Kettle and other hot drink options ie. tea rather than just coffee option in room. More obvious way to order freshly cooked omelettes and other options at breakfast and labelling what some items were on the buffet tables. Security wise, should only be able to use/enter lifts to rooms if have a room key.

We had travelled by private transport from Porec to Split so a long journey. On arrival, there was torrential rain - walked with luggage for about 6 minutes - on arrival at hotel, there was no one at reception - Mia, receptionist had actually gone to meet us with umbrellas but we had missed her. We had to wait for her to return as there was no one else to check us in - unusual for a 4* hotel to only have one person on reception. Mia, on her return was very apologetic, offered us a room upgrade & a late check out - she should receive a bonus for her people skills!! Loved the location & the included breakfast was excellent.

Once we finally got checked in, we loved the hotel.
