Loved our 3night stay. Room immaculate and in the centre of old town. Great aircon and street noise blocked out when windows shut. Lots of food choices all around. Big room and lovely bathroom. Loved having the extra pillows. We were on 1st floor so not many stairs. Host very responsive and gave great directions with photos to guesthouse. Very peaceful comfortable stay. Thankyou ps perfect location to get up at 6am and take gorgeous photos of old town without tourists around as gets very busy during the day.

Great location. Quiet considering it’s in the heart of old town. Very clean. Comfortable. Great Air conditioner. One evening there was music (singer/guitar) at the restaurant below which was very nice and was done at 11:00.

1st floor meant a set of stairs outside the building, then a very narrow set going to the unit. It was fine for me. But want to mention it for others with mobility issues.

We loved the friendly introduction to Split by the owner and the central location which was close to all of the old town attractions and restaurants. We enjoyed retreating back to the room during the heat of the day to rest for the late afternoon. The wifi was great, as was the desk so I could use my laptop comfortably. The bathroom was clean and modern.

The apartment is ideally located in the centre of the picturesque old town, surrounded by nice restaurants and shops. A small stone staircase leads to the apartment. The apartment itself is spacious and has a fridge and a safe. It is most recommendable for a stay for several days due to its prime location. But the biggest asset of this apartment is the owner Marina. This very kind and charming hostess went out of her way to accommodate us and made our stay most memorable. If you vacation in Split, Guesthouse Imperator is the place to stay!

The location is excellent, you are right in the centre of the city and close to a variety of amazing restaurants and cafes. Simply walk out the door and explore the beautiful streets of old town Split. It’s close to the waterfront too. The host helped me get oriented with the city. The kitchenette & fridge are useful, I was making tea in the evening and having a small breakfast before leaving for the day. I think this place is perfect for solo traveler’s, or a couple. It’s small but has everything you need for a comfortable stay. It’s clean and has great aircon.

It was difficult getting my suitcase down the stairs which are steep.

This is a perfect spot for one or two.. right in the middle of old town. Cozy, spotless, easy to find/communicate with. Just really a perfect yet fairly priced stay (-: This will be my place in Split going forward. side note: above a darling restaurant/bar with acoustic music at night. Not loud, but actually lovely when hearing it at night. It was a bonus, not a bad thing (-: Thank you!

location was super , so central and had everything within few mins walk. bed was comfy and while space around the bed was tight it wasn’t an issue for us . would highly recommend.

everything was perfect and exactly as in pictures . we stayed in the room up one flight of external steps, exactly as described and first room inside the front door . just to note for anyone who has mobility issues anything above this level would possibly be a struggle . but absolutely nothing to fault .

Amazing location in the heart of Diocletian’s Palace. There were many delicious restaurants less than 5 minutes from the front door. Bed was very comfortable, and the unit was spotless upon our arrival. Marina even went out of her way to ensure our room would be ready early, as we were arriving in the morning on the ferry.

There are two restaurants located on either side of the unit which unfortunately meant we couldn’t keep the windows open as much as we would’ve liked due to noise and cigarette smoke.

A perfect location and a perfect stay. Guesthouse Imperator is beautiful, quiet and has brilliant air conditioning (an absolute must with the heat). It’s a wonderful place to stay; easy to find and so central to everything Split has to offer. I would definitely stay here again.
