We stayed one night in Split as we were transitioning to the island of Vis the next morning on the 11 a.m. ferry, and we couldn’t have picked a better spot! The location was absolutely fantastic — just a short walk to all the key sites we wanted to explore and surrounded by plenty of great restaurant options. Our room had a lovely balcony, and since we were traveling in May, the weather was perfect — comfortably in the high 60s to low 70s. The staff welcomed us warmly when we arrived, gave us a quick tour of the room, handed over the keys, and were genuinely friendly throughout. Check-in and check-out were seamless, with no issues at all. The only minor challenge we encountered was when we decided to turn in early around 8:40 p.m.; the restaurant just outside our window was quite lively. While this isn’t the hotel’s fault (more a matter of location), it’s something to keep in mind if you’re an early sleeper. That said, my wife and I were working in the room, and we actually found the background buzz rather pleasant — and by about 10:15 p.m., things quieted down quickly, and we had a restful night. For anyone planning to catch the ferry like we did, the walk to the pier is easy and convenient. Overall, we were impressed by the beautiful rooms and unbeatable location — a great stay!

Next to a restaurant so a little noisy between 8pm and 10.30pm, consider that if you are a light sleeper or if you go to be early.

I loved my stay at Dujam! First of all, the host Marija was amazing. She gave me all of the best recommendations for a short stay in Split. She let me know all of the must-see restaurants, bakeries, beaches, and landmarks were located. She helped me understand how to get around the palace area. Fantastic host with great advice to give to travelers, so ask her questions! They arranged the airport transportation for me which was convenient. The location of the apartment was perfect, close to everything in the palace area. It felt private and 'hidden' in a good way. The room was clean and very comfortable.

The location is amazing.. you could not get more central! We rented 2 rooms here as we had a late night flight and needed somewhere to base ourselves from while in Split for the day. Given how hot it was, we were so happy we slashed out to escape the scorching temperature! The host was lovely and made it her business to have the rooms ready for us when we arrived a few hours before official check in. The rooms were spotless and had great air con. Suited our needs perfectly.

Although we didn’t stay here overnight, given the central location, u can imagine it may be noisy at night time. However, no more so than any other central apartment.

Anamarija was an amazing host, was in constant contact with us from before us arriving and throughout the stay. She provided a heap of recommendations for restaurants, beaches and other activities upon our arrival, and even helped us organise transport to the airport when there was a massive power outage across the country and I had no reception. She was a huge assistance for us and the apartment was very clean, stylish and in a great location in the middle of everything.

The WiFi didn’t work, however that didn’t bother us too much as we had data to use.

Location was perfect for first trip to Split, easy to get to any meeting point, restaurants etc. Fascinated that the old streets are within a huge old Palace so it is still 'living'. Confusing streets at first but once you get your bearings there are so many to wander down. Bed very comfortable and thank goodness for the air conditioning! Very clean. Bed and towels were changed mid week as we stayed 7 nights. Liked the shower caps as I don't wash hair every day, very thoughtful. A lovely wee apartment. Nothing to complain about, only a couple of things to bear in mind.

Apartment 2 has the balcony but to be honest, unless you need it to smoke, it's tiny and chairs very uncomfortable so we didn't bother. The restaurant next door has a speaker next to one of the windows and it was a little noisy on a couple of nights (not wild just music and chatting). Apparently my hubby couldn't get to sleep (I was already sound asleep so didn't notice). Watch the shower as the water runs down the curtain and soaks the floor, not a huge problem, just something to be aware of so keep bath mat handy.

Perfect location in the old town, close to historic sights, marina etc but in a quiet corner of Split which gets very busy and noisy at night. Security good, really lovely room. Kitchen facilities good. Balcony tiny but we had breakfast there every day and read our books, dried our washing. Lots of windows, room remained very cool.

Bathroom/shower was small - ok for me but not so much for my tall husband but we managed and the bathroom had 2 windows so was still airy.

Our host was excellent, they arranged our airport transfer for us, she responded quickly to any queries we had, very kind and helpful especially with recommendations for the trips we wanted to make locally. The room was great! The terrace was a highlight we were very happy we made the choice to book the room with terrace, it was lovely to enjoy our morning cuppa in the sun or a beverage in the evenings.

There wasn't anything we didn't like.

Charming, luxurious, tastefully furnished, spacious studio apartment room with a balcony overlooking the café below. All street noise abated by midnight. Lovely place to stay and ridiculously close to everything.

The shower curtain, which we knew was there from a photo. We decided to tolerate it in exchange for the larger sized room and balcony. There is a section of screen, which hopefully they will extend, so the curtain can be removed.

Great location, excellent customer service. They helped organize a taxi pickup from the airport, the driver was very nice. When we arrived they let us drop off our luggage and let us check-in earlier than planned. Outdoor terrace is was very spacious and sunny.

Nothing, we really enjoyed our stay. Just to note, there are some stairs to get to the room (typical of an old building) so it’s not ideal if you have limited mobility.

Fantastic location in the heart of the old town, just a few minutes walk from the harbour and Diocletian’s palace. The apartment is a hotel standard with the most comfortable bed, plenty of soft towels, kitchen utensils etc. The jewel in the crown is the fabulous terrace with seating for 4, sun lounger and day bed with a huge parasol that covers the entire area so you can enjoy the outdoor area without being in direct sun. There is also air conditioning inside that works well and can be adjusted easily. Just below the terrace is a lovely restaurant that serves fantastic food but it’s never too noisy despite being popular. A one minute walk away is a Spar shop that we stocked up on bread, cheese and wine (highly recommend Posip wine…..about 13 euros from the shop/35 at a restaurant….but absolutely worth it for a great, dry white wine!). The host for Dujam apartment could not have been more helpful and answered texts immediately and offered taxi service and luggage storage. There is the airport bus for around 7 euros but can fill up quick so if you can’t wait, I would advise taking up the offer of their taxi as cheaper that getting one waiting at the airport. This is a real gem of an apartment for location, cleanliness and all amenities you need.
