Lovely little hotel. Room was extremely quiet and comfortable. Location in the heart of the old town quite near to historic sights and to the Riva waterfront promenade was perfect. Restaurant offering traditional Croatian cuisine in quaint former bath-house was a bonus. Just loved our stay.

It would almost seem churlish to mention but a few more bread options for breakfast would be nice if it could include wholemeal and/or wholegrain. Perhaps it was because we visited at the end of the season.

The hotel is very centrally located (right in the middle of the historic old town) which I was very happy about. The room was suitably big and I especially enjoyed the spacious bathroom. However, the desk and chair were not quite compatible (different heights) so it was not very ergonomic to work at the desk. The wifi was also kind of slow (maybe the location between a lot of old buildings made the signal weak?). Breakfast had limited but good-quality options and the hotel offered a breakfast package on my last day because of early checkout (4:30 am). Overall the staff was friendly (including lending me an umbrella on rainy days) and the room was always impeccably clean. Overall I enjoyed my stay!

The hotel facilities are great, clean and have a large room and an excellent shower. The reception staff are very hospitable and willing to help. Breakfast is good. The location is the strong point8, super close to everything, seaside, shopping streets and tourist attractions. Oh! Upon arrival you will receive a 50% voucher to use in the hotel restaurant. Although it didn't bother me that much, the room I stayed in for a few moments in the morning had a sound of falling water. For those who like to sleep late, they will feel uncomfortable.

Small but cozy place; perfect location, < 5min walk to the train and bus station; very nice and helpful staff. I was stuck in Zagreb for 3 days due to the bad storm and had to take a 9-hour train to Split on Christmas. I couldn’t find any store open to grab food before I got on this long trip and arrived at the hotel without at food and water, and the young man at the reception said they don’t have a vending machine or water available, so I had to wait until morning. But the woman staff was super considerate and helpful (and kind of saved me haha), she took me great breakfast and bottle water. I also enjoyed talking with her about Split and Croatia:)

The toilet in my room (1st floor) has its shower facing a window towards the street with no curtain, which is somehow uncomfortable even though there were very few passers-by during Christmas.

A wonderful Hotel based within the walls of Diocletian's Palace. The history of the Hotel is really interesting and the restaurant of the Hotel is where the Roman Baths were once located. The Hotel is comfortable and clean and breakfast was delicious. Staff were friendly and courteous. I would thoroughly recommend a stay at this Hotel in the picturesque old town of Split. It is very close to all the main attractions and the Riva. It really has a lot of character and charm. Thank you for a great experience!

Great hotel near the Riva in Old Town. Large room and bathroom. Spotless. Eggs cooked to order for the breakfast with a good selection of other items. Very nice dinner at the restaurant one night. Elevator to get from restaurant level to reception and rooms. Staff will open the door for an elevator that can take you and your luggage from street level to the room with no steps for check-in and check-out.

Just know that you have to go up and down about 4 steps and walk through the front of the restaurant to get to the hotel elevator to the rooms. As probably every place to stay in old town, people are in the nearby streets and bars and are loud until about midnight. Nearest parking was at train station, about a 10-15 minute walk, depending on your fitness for 35 euro/day on the shoulder season.

A very clean, modern and ultra chique hotel. One of the best bathrooms we have encountered on our travels, very welcoming staff & breakfast was a delight. They make your eggs on demand & any way you want. The coffee is also made fresh from their espresso machine which is a nice change. It’s a very short walk to the hotel from the taxi drop off station, but there are a few steps up to the main door. However if you have difficulties walking up steps (such as my husband), they have a lift available at the rear of the building. Just let them know you’ve arrived and they’ll help you with your luggage and escort you to the lift. All the staff were pleasant and polite. Really close to all restaurants/bars, shops, entertainment, port and beach. There is no fridge in the rooms, even though there seems to be a spot for a fridge. But you can use the large communal fridge located on the same level as reception. The closest beach - Bacvice - is a bit dirty & very overcrowded. The beach chairs are $25 Euro each but you can lie on the sand (if you can find a spot), or along the concrete paths. When staying here, they give you a one of 20% discount for the restaurant below them. Stayed in room 203.

The location within Diocletian's Palace is historic and unique. The hotel is beautifully designed and comfortable. The breakfast was good for a 3-star hotel. The hotel doesn't seem to attract party-type guests, making it quieter and more relaxed than some other locations in Split. The staff was all very kind.

As an early riser, I would have appreciated a better coffee/tea selection in my room so that I didn't have to wait until 7:30 am for my first cup of coffee in the breakfast room. As with all locations in Split, I suspect, it is impossible to sleep with the windows open due to the evening noise, so I slept with windows closed and the air conditioning on. It's not my preference to sleep that way, but I slept well anyway.

The breakfast was excellent with choice of eggs/omelette, croissants, cold meats, muesli, fruits etc My room was very roomy, very clean and with the added bonus of a terrace ! The two ladies at reception were charming and friendly.

Perhaps the noise at night caused by lots of drinking tourists (even at the end of September) but inevitable I guess due to the excellent location e.g. the historical centre of Split. The air con helped mask the noise.

The communication from the hotel was fantastic, they messaged me prior to my arrival with all the details for parking and sent a video on how to get to the hotel, which was very useful. The hotel is very centrally located in Old Town so everything is within walking distance. The breakfast was very good. Even though it is in the center, the windows do a fantastic job at blocking out any sounds but for the most part it was quiet.
