Gorgeous building in a perfect location. The courtyard bar/cafe was so cute and our friends staying at other hotels always wanted to meet up at ours. Our room was spotless and felt luxurious after our more barebones hotel in Dubrovnik. We also had a really cute private patio. The most outlier was the staff. Everyone was not just helpful but proactively friendly. I’ve stayed at much more expensive hotels that had far less personable and helpful service.

Only complaint is the couple in the room across from us was loud opening/closing their door and talking in the hallway. The room seemed mostly soundproof, but not from the front door.

From the moment Andy met us at the edge of the pedestrian area to help with our bags and walk us a short distance to the hotel entrance, we knew we were in for something special! The staff here are all wonderful and so helpful - especially Andy and Carla! We got some great recommendations for restaurants in Split and Carla called up and made the reservations for us. Our rooms were clean and the beds were very comfortable. We had a lovely balcony. The breakfast was fantastic with lots of options. The location is absoulutly perfect - close to everything you want to explore in the Old Town. We felt very pampered here and would absolutly stay here again when in Split!

Location is in the heart of Split. A little hard to find. They usually pick you up at the bus station, but I received a message telling me to walk. They did arrange for a ride to the bus station the day I departed. Staff were very friendly and the accommodation is nice if you want service and to be away from a crowded hotel.

I upgraded the room, but was upgraded to a different room, not the room I upgraded to... The staff member was very gracious and put me in the room I originally booked. I did not receive a refund for the upgrade. Also, I believe there are other more comfortable hotels for the cost of this one.

The hotel was wonderful, it is in the old town Center so no cars are allowed at the property and hotel parking was close enough to easily walk or have their golf cart pick you up. The staff were exceptionally friendly, helpful and a source of information on Split. Everything about the hotel is a bit like out of a fairy tale. The room was large by European standards but beautifully equipped and appointed. The bathroom was all marble with heated floors. Wonderful. The breakfast in the morning included whatever you wanted prepared with warm friendly service.

The staff is excellent. They all have a very positive and helpful attitude. The owner is present, gracious and kind. They pride themselves on great coffee, ambiance and a lovely breakfast. They helped with all our needs and shuttled us to our planned ferry to Hvar when we moved on to our next stay. The location is amazing! Our suite had a fabulous rooftop patio.

As we were in what would have been an attic space in long, past history, the side walls do slope. We are medium height people but very tall people may want to consider their choice of this room and discuss this aspect ahead of arrival.

Judita Palace Heritage Hotel is a small boutique hotel located just outside Diocletian’s Palace. The location cannot be beat and the staff is incredible-so polite and friendly and they go out of their way to make sure your stay is perfect. We had the room with a private rooftop terrace and the views from there are incredible! I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone touring Split.

Ideal location in the 'Peoples Square" close to the waterfront and many historical attractions. The spacious room with many historical features had a sofa and writing desk and large bathroom. Breakfast comprised of a choice of fruit, cereals, juice and a selection of hams and cheeses. The hotel also offered a more bespoke breakfast service for customers wanting a hot breakfast. Reception staff very helpful in advising customers about places to eat and drink as well as helping to organise visits to places around Split. The buggy transfer from the ferry to the hotel and bus station worked well in wet weather - an excellent added touch. Overall service by management and staff impeccable.

The entrance to the hotel is via the bar area on the ground floor - can be busy at times making it tricky to navigate the stairs to the reception area. Can also be considered as part of the charm of the place, especially with a good choice of cocktails.

Location, location, location. Next door to Diocletian’s Palace and easy stroll to the ocean. I enjoyed the jazz bar. The staff was superior. They handled all our luggage from the taxi to the hotel. That was a considerable distance as the property is in a no vehicle zone. They provide a full breakfast with fresh pastries and eggs made to order. I recommend room 4 because it had a balcony from which you can listen to the music from below while watching the throngs of people in the plaza outside.

Bathroom was small. Felt like I was on a cruise ship.

The staff were actively helpful, as well as genuinely friendly.

A few missing touches took away from the visit, relatively minor but if you are paying that price then you would expect these to be picked up - safe in the room was locked and unable to be used - missing a second champagne glass, if we wanted to use the mini bar - for us, the porter to the room service was a bit much, we really don’t need to be shown how to open a window or adjust the aircon - we were on time for breakfast (0930) but no tables available and the single member of staff was rushed off her feet as everyone was having a late breakfast. This should be planned for.

This is a world class hotel located in the city centre. We were easily able to explore the whole city. Staff were very helpful. Our room was very large, with good air conditioning and a huge bathroom. A very varied offering at breakfast.

I would have liked a shower that did not involve climbing in & out of the bath, The people in the rooms above were very noisy on the wooden stairs/floors late at night.
