Wonderful welcome from Malena - the room was very comfortable and met my needs as a solo traveler perfectly! I was so pleased to be inside the palace, within easy walking distance to everything - and close enough to come back to the room for a mid-day siesta

It was excellent and I would come here again in a heartbeat. Be aware that there are 3 flights of stairs to get to the unit, which was no problem for me. Some reviewers commented about noise, but this was not a problem for me at all. If the windows are open, there is some street noise, but the windows were excellent quality and I couldn’t hear a thing with them closed.

It was truly amazing. The kindest host we could get. Wonderful lady that welcomed us with lemonade and very useful tips to enjoy the city. The room was very clean and comfortable. The best location.

We loved each moment our stay with Malena. The rooms were clean and fresh, and had a beautiful view of the temple and clock tower. The room was air conditioned and had a fridge to keep any drinks and food cool for the next day. The bedding was also very comfortable. There is an added bonus of an upstairs terrace with the most gorgeous views of the city and was matched with some homemade lemonade 🍋 However, the main charm of this place is the lady that runs it, Malena. She gave us lots of great suggestions of what to see and do whilst staying in Split and even got us a Split Card which gave us free or discounted entry to a lot of local attractions! One of our favourite recommendations was the walk around the Forest Park Marjan which gave us a great view of the city and had amazing wildlife to see! Nothing was too much for Malena, and you could tell she genuinely cared for us whilst staying with her. She is the true selling point of this place! Would strongly recommend this place to anyone travelling to Split and we hope to come back soon! From Harry and Tom 😊

Nothing - it was fantastic through and through!

Malena and her husband were the perfect hosts from the minute we got there. She gave us a drink and told us all about the local amenities and attractions. You won’t get better value for money for this excellent location we absolutely loved it 😊 Wass very hot during our stay too but the air con worked very well

Only thing we would say is that the steps up to the third floor were quite difficult with luggage but Malena husband helped us so wasn’t so bad 👍

The location was very central and surprisingly quiet. Great for close access to all the sights. There were a lot of steps, although we think this is the norm in this locality. Our host Malena and her husband were amazing, very helpful in terms of advice and places to visit. They were also very hospitable and considerate. Highly recommended.

Very warm welcome, perfect location in the absolut centre of town. Extremely quiet during nighttime although the city was packed with tourist due to festival etc. It felt like we where family and the way Malena was doing her outmost to assist in any way and give guidence was fantastic.

Great location at the Diocletian Palace and a short walk from restaurants, shops and bars.

It’s an old building with no lifts and one has to walk up three stories.

The properly felt so homely and Malena was the most welcoming host. She accommodated me really last minute after I had to find new accommodation and welcomed me with a drink. She also did the same for my friend who joined me on the second night and arrived late. The property was beautifully cleaned, in a fantastic location in the middle of old town and the view of the clock tower from the window was lovely. Thank you for a wonderful stay, I would recommend Malena’s Palace to anyone!

The location, cleanliness and gorgeous accommodation was a wonderful place for our last stay in Split, would totally recommend and stay here again when in Split.

Everything was lovely, no complaints whatsoever!

The location is excellent right in the heart of the old town. Melena was a good host and welcomed us providing informative advice and tips of places to visit whilst in Split. The room is an excellent location in the old town and very quiet given you are in the heart of this district. The terrace was a real hideaway amongst the rooftops with a lovely view of the palace tower.

Nothing, it was great for our flying visit whilst on route to Korcula.
